I have been using this cleaner and the one on the West side for 10 years, including my family even longer. So I thought of no other place then this one to have my wedding dress cleaned. I dropped my wedding dress off in a protective bag purchased from the dress store mid October 2010. They gave me a tag that said the estimated pick up time would be in 4-6 weeks. I started wondering early January 2011 why I had not heard from them. I called and spoke with an adult women, I stated I was calling about a wedding dress I left about mid October and was interrupted with a request from my name. She said oh yes I remember that dress it was very long, it is up front I think it is clean, yep it has a tag on it, it is ready. I went in the following week later in the day so it was just a young girl working. I saw my wedding dress hanging from 2 wire hangers with a plastic bag covering it but not completely covering the bottom. I pad my $50 dollars and had to ask for my protective bag. When I went to put the dress in the car as soon as I folded the dress I saw the dirt on the bottom. It looked like it had not been cleaned and due to the comment when I called about the dress pick up I was really sick to think that they hadn't cleaned it. I took the dress back in placed it on the counter and showed the girl the dirty spot. I told her it was still dirty she touched the spot and stated well maybe that was the best they could do. She said she would leave a note for them tomorrow to look at it and call me. I never received a call all weekend. I called Monday about 8:15am, and when the phone was answered I requested to speak with a manager and the person responded this is Steven. I started to explain my story starting with the lengthy wait I made it to the employee leaving the note, when he interrupted and asked for my name. He said he would look for the note and call me back. I stated "so then you haven't even seen a note?" He stated he was busy and the only one their and he would call back. He called back around 9:45am stating he could not see what I was talking about the dress looked perfectly fine. He wanted me to come and show him the spot, he said it was a long dress it could have touched the floor. I explained to him it was like the dress soaked up small puddle of liquid and dirt while worn on the wedding day. He said if he found it he would clean it. I also spoke with him about the quality of the protective bag. When I left the dress in the bag at the facility it was spotless. When I received the bag back it looked like it had been drug all over the place. He stated the bag was made to protect the dress, and the dress is very long, and he inquired rudely if I had anywhere in my home where I could hang the dress without it touching the floor. I just stated we managed to move that dress around an awful lot with out dragging it. I was simply feed up with him arguing with me and basically calling me a liar, I told him my husband would puck up the dress and would also be bringing the bag back to show him. I also mentioned I wouldn't mind a refund even if partial. He stated I wasn't getting 50 out of him. I am not the person who argues about something that is not there just to get something for free, all I would like is maybe an apology and less arguing. I don't have to have my money back some acknowledgment that there was an error and lack of sensitivity for my items would have been appreciated. Maybe even a credit to bring some items back in. I will not be going back ever. read more
