Not sure what happened; however, this is one of the most expensive and tackiest alterations I have ever received. The dress was supposed to be straight in the back no overlapping material. The dress did not have overlapping material prior to me taking it to the Alteration Shop. I took the dress to REAL professionals for alterations and now the dress looks and fits exactly as it should.

However, Jolanta made that possible and I was incredibly pleased with her work. I am someone who is fairly particular with how I like things to fit on me and Jolanta was very honest and I trusted her opinions. I came in for a second fitting 2 weeks later and I was already amazed at the work she had done and only needed minor adjustments. When I came back to pick up the dress right before the wedding I chose not to try it on there because I was in somewhat of a hurry and when I tried it on at home it fit absolutely perfectly. It had to be taken in at the bust, and shortened. It was a double layer slip. She gave it a slight train in the back, and added a removable halter strap for me so I would be comforable after the ceremony. She also altered my bra so it would fit perfect and not show under the dress. She did this in one week. She charged $75.00 for all of that. David's bridal quoted me $125 for the dress alone, and would not add the straps as it would "alter the integrity of the dress". It looks beautiful, and I can't wait to wear it to celebrate such a happy day for one of my friends. I'll never go anywhere else.

When I asked her to please check if they were hanging somewhere--even specifying they were Banana Republic size 32/30--she didn't even bother to look. This was a brand-new suit that had only been worn once. This is absolutely not how you treat long-time customers. Her ignorance and total lack of care left me incredibly upset and frustrated.
