This place definitely surprised me. Similar to Vox kitchen, it's a Vietnamese and Peruvian fusion restaurant. The food is delicious! Lots of flavor and well balanced! The pho is spot on just like the ones in garden grove! Their saltado has their own unique style to it, but very delicious. The prawn garlic noodles were delicious! The service was fast and efficient. We came for dinner and it was pretty busy. We waiting about 10 mins for a table! They took our order and food came out within reasonable time. It's in the complex of an EOS Fitness so the parking may be difficult, but we were able to find one without too much difficulty. It's clean, but does feel a bit compact inside.
Omeli is a super solid option for Vietnamese/Peruvian fusion food. This spot is on the Yelp Top 100 Restaurants in the OC and I'd say it's well deserved. The menu has a decent variety of food, including garlic noodles, rice bowls, fried rice, pho, and other items. During my visit, I ordered the garlic noodles with shaken beef and all I have to say is YUM. I absolutely enjoyed everything about it and would highly recommend it. The store itself is pretty casual and the service is friendly. It's in a strip mall with a parking lot, however, parking here is tough because it shares the lot with the gym.
Stopped by on a Thursday night and the restaurant was busy, so we had a short wait before getting seated. Parking is available in a lot, but it was pretty full when we arrived, so we ended up parking farther away, but still within the same lot. Inside was nice, and we were seated in the corner so had some privacy to our meal. We ordered a few different dishes to share, and honestly, everything was really good. The cucumber salad was simple but well done. The cucumbers were crunchy, and the dressing had plenty of flavor without being too heavy. The spicy wontons had a nice kick, although they were a little salty for my taste. Still, the spice and overall flavor made them easy to keep eating. The Filet Fried Rice was another standout. The filet was tender, and the fried rice itself had a good balance of flavor without being overly greasy. The Grilled Chicken Garlic Noodles were also solid, with a good amount of garlic flavor that paired well with the chicken. It was great, but nothing that blew my mind. My favorite might have been the Saltado Fries. They were extremely crispy and packed with flavor, and I love a good combination of the fries with savory toppings. Service was good despite the restaurant being busy, and everything came out tasting fresh and well prepared. Overall, I'm excited to go back.
I'm a big fan of both Vietnamese and Peruvian food so I'm glad we have Omeli close to home. We had three dishes and the nui bo luc lac was our favorite. Amazing flavors and cooked really well. Good chewy noodles, crunchy sautéd veggies and tender filet. Ended up finishing that dish until the plate was empty. We also had the grilled pork rice bowl which was also good. The fish sauce has a bit of a kick to it and was very flavorful. The pork itself was a touch too salty for me but the amount of pork they gave was so generous. I found myself wanting more rice (in a good way) to balance all the meat they gave. Lastly we had the beef ball pho. I don't know what it was but it was extremely salty or vinegar and had a distinct taste that wasn't to my liking. The onions/cilantro provided with it were also very wilted. I don't want to ding them too hard on the pho since it's the other specialty dishes that they're known for, and we would absolutely come back. Bonus was a side of salmon which was cooked perfectly. Nice sear on the outside and very tender and juicy on the inside. They gave a side of their green sauce which goes great with any dish there.
Omeli Kitchen is a Vietnamese-Peruvian fusion restaurant located in Fullerton near CSUF. If you're familiar with Kei Concept's Sup Noodle Bar or Vox Kitchen, this place is very similar in terms of their offerings. This restaurant is located in a plaza with a decent amount of parking. We put our name on the Yelp waitlist and were seated immediately. We ordered the pho short rib ($16.95), lomo saltado ($19.95), and omeli's spicy wontons ($13.95). The pho came in a huge bowl with huge ribs that were tender. I liked that the broth was saltier than others I've had that it didn't need any of the typical fixings like hoisin sauce or sriracha. Also, like Sup and Vox they provided unlimited refills on noodles and gave larger portions of extra noodles. The lomo saltado had a smaller portion of beef although it was tender. I typically like to upgrade my rice to garlic noodles but it was $8 extra which didn't feel worth it to me. The spicy wontons were spicier than they looked but the sauce didn't coat the wontons the way others do; it wasn't as thick of a sauce and it was less hints of chili oil and more of sesame oil.
Came here for dinner. There's plenty of parking since it's located in the spacious plaza. There isna bit of a wait during peak times but it wasn't too bad when we were there. Staff is nice and helpful. I got the lomo saltado. Lomo Saltado- Beef is tender. The sauce is savory and there's a good amount to cover everything plus the rice. Potatoes have a nice crisp to them. Flavors and textures are on point. Great experience overall!
This small Vietnamese owned restaurant is a secret Fullerton gem - fusion restaurant. They are known for their lomo saltado. However, my son loves their garlic noodles with prawns. Even on a hot day, you will see diners, selecting their spare rib pho because it has unlimited noodles and is so savory and rich in its broth. The service is very friendly and fast. You will not regret eating at Omeli kitchen.
Outstanding dining experience. Delicious food with lots of variety, huge portions, great service, very reasonable prices. I mean, really. I'm rarely in Fullerton, but that's what I love about Yelp. I'll just start researching - like I've been doing for kinda forever, lol -- and usually find some local gems that I would have never known about. OMELI was right there - and not even from the Sponsored section. Caught my eye with all the great reviews, PLUS that they serve one of my fave dishes, Lomo Saltado. But, like I almost always do, I asked the server (who was awesome btw), and told her that both that and the Pho Supreme each looked like the big hearty dishes I was looking for. She said they've both great, either way. I rationalized that the Pho Supreme with ALL that protein (short-rib, filet mignon, beef belly, brisket & meatball) was calling me. Man, the size of the bone with all that beef hanging off it was a showstopper. The beef broth was rich but not salty (no dry mouth later), and of course, the Pho. You get unlimited pho btw, but heck I could barely finish what I had. TLDR: this dish is great to share and/or one that you might need to finish later. Appetizers? I don't often do appetizers but I loved the menu (and MAYBE I was also starving), that I tried the refreshing Spring Crunch Slaw. Absolute winner. Crunchy cabbage, carrot, cilantro, roasted peanuts, fried shallots, chili oil, sesame peanut dressing. Yum! You can add a protein to that, and the tofu seemed like a good idea. My server absolutely seconded that motion. So good. The giant blocks of tofu are lightly fried and sat atop the deeply satisfying slaw. Two giant dishes, leftovers galore, and it didn't even break $30. I ended up taking a Vietnamese Iced Coffee to go, and that was a sweet and tasty way to drive home. And they're open til 1am !! Highly recommended.
I heard lots of great things about Omeli so when I was in the area I had to stop by. It's a Vietnamese-Peruvian fusion restaurant so I was excited to give it a go. We got there right when it opened so we were able to get any table we wanted. I loved the decor in here, very modern and organic vibes. We ordered: Omeli's Spicy Wonton Chicken Saltado Pho chicken (free additional pho noodles upon request - yay!) Shaken Beef Garlic Noodles Wow...with the exception of the super dry chicken in the pho, everything was great! My kids especially LOVED the shaken beef garlic noodles and the chicken Saltado. Like I said, the chicken in the pho was dry and not good, but the pho broth was great. The noodles were hard when I first got the bowl, but if you let it soak in the broth for a bit, it will eventually soften up. I liked that you get extra noodles if you want more. Service was a bit lacking, our server never came to check on us, we had to wave him down every time we needed something. I give this place a solid 4.5!
We ordered pick up and it was ready upon arrival. Pho broth tasted pretty good, shrimp spring rolls were fat and yummy, the filet mignon Mac n cheese was suprisingly good and smokey flavored. We also got the deja vu lemonade that was really good!
Vietnamese-Peruvian fusion done right. Loved everything we ate here! Omeli's Spicy Wonton: I could eat this all day and call it a perfect meal. Super tasty chili oil. Lomo Saltado: Tender beef and well-seasoned. An easy crowd-pleaser. The space is gorgeous, filled with warm aromas and a bustling atmosphere. Friendly, sociable staff made the experience even better. A memorable meal from start to finish.
wow, this has easily become my GO TO spot for Vietnamese food! been here twice and I will definitely be coming back again. brisket pho: very good pho. didn't need the extra hoisin sauce, the flavor of the broth is so rich and tasty. 10/10 pho. good serving size as well. shaken beef fried rice: 8/10. the shaken beef was amazing, peppery umami goodness. the friend rice was standard. amazing service here! workers are nice! ambiance: very causal spot! handful of seating, so be sure to get here early on a busy night.
I was in the area and was looking for something to eat and glad i stopped by here, a Vietnamese and Peruvian fusion which is a perfect combination. I ordered the chicken saltado and the salmon garlic noodles were great dishes! The chicken saltado: chicken, veggies, fries were all well season and all the flavors were bold and absolutely delicious. I think it's worth the price and to try, the plate was full and presentation looks stunning. Salmon Garlic Noodles: Salmon was crispy and tender and has a little weight to it, garlic noodles was good. Adding hoisin sauce and chili oil gave it more pop in flavor. I'd say dinner was a success and definitely need to come back to this location for sure.
Such an amazing Vietnamese-Peruvian Fusion restaurant! It is located near CSUF so it is a great spot to come and eat with your friends after a long day at school or work! The music and service were amazing! They were super nice and kept checking in to see if we needed anything throughout our time there. My favorite dishes were the wontons and garlic noodles! This place has popped up on my for you reccomended page more than once. I finally went to try it out because I saw it had good reviews. In terms of expectations and first impressions, note that this restaurant is a bit smaller than I originally expected. Is very close in location to Troy high school and Cal State Fullerton. There's definitely ample parking. When you go inside, it's a bit more cozy and I think the fact that they decorated so much of the interior makes you not look at the size of the restaurant itself. The style of this restaurant is Vietnamese fusion. My favorite thing was their omeli spicy wontons. The spxoe level is mid. It's not too too spicy and I'm generally sensitive to spice. I thought the wrapper was soft and the meat was perfect. I also would reccomended the macaroni and beef because there are a lot of veggies and it's a really balanced dish. The only dish I was okay ish about would be the garlic noodles with prawns. Although u liked the garlic noodles I wished the skin on the prawns was peeled first so it's easier to eat. I'm giving this place 5 stars because they are relatively new, I didn't feel like the food was boring, and the staff were really nice! If you go here definitely get the wontons. It's always good to step out of your comfort zone. read more

Would give it maybe a 4.5/5? The first time I had it I tried their oxtail fried rice and lomo saltado. The lomo saltado was a bit on the salty and saucy side but paired really well with the fried rice. Honestly it was perfect for me but for some others it may be a tiny bit salty. The fries in the dish were also super yummy. The second time I came I ordered the lomo saltado again, their wontons and the cucumber salad. The cucumber salad is light and refreshing with a savory sauce. The wontons had a pretty good flavor but weren't as hot as expected. The lomo saltado this time around wasn't as saucy and could be eaten stand alone but I did prefer it more the first time around. I heard there's usually some lines but I always ended up going around 2-3pm so there was never really any line. read more

Omeli kitchen is in the same location as Phoreal kitchen, sad since we liked their special lobster with noodles. We came for the high ratings and liked the food, though the two sauces didn't seem like good pairs. And there are saloon-style swinging doors to get to the bathroom, pretty fun even though it doesn't match the rest of the aesthetic. First the Pho ribeye shaken style was phenomenal, excellent pho. The flavor just oozed from the bowl, and none of us were thirsty later that night (so no msg I suspect). If you eat there you can get extra noodles for free, which we did, but then the noodles to broth ratio becomes too high. While the rib eye protein was thick cut strips and acceptable, I prefer the thinly sliced rare beef that is typically served with pho. The Shaken beef garlic noodles has flavorful beef/onions/peppers with just average garlic noodles. Also the dish was served with a spicy green sauce, which makes this a fries-to-noodles swap away from being a lomo Saltado. The Rib eye steak roll was a fusion of spring roll with the rib eye. We asked our waitress and she recommended this over their salmon roll, it on our next visit I'll try the salmon instead of getting the rib eye again. The roll looked nice, but the paired sauce was a weird smokey, slightly spicy that we didn't care for. read more

Stop what you're doing now and eat here!!! My partner and I have been here twice in the past week, and both times the food has been superb. First time we were here I got the macaroni filet mignon dish (I forgot the name), but it was AMAZING, and my partner got the chicken pho. The meat was so fresh and cooked to perfection, and I love their sauces. We also got an appetizer, the pork belly rolls which were great too. Today we came back, and I tried the shaken style Ribeye pho while my partner repeated her order, and both were fantastic. The vibe is also very chill here, lots of greenery and wooden style ambiance. We got Linh as a server both times as well, and she's awesome and remembered us today! Definitely making this one of our regular pho stops!!! read more

This place is already buzzing with people during lunch time. It is a cute place and their staff is very friendly and welcoming. We tried their lomo saltado made with very tender beef. Omeli's version is slightly sweeter than its original Peruvian version, pretty tasty and not as salty as you tend to find around here.The fried wantons were good although a little greasy. The oxtail pho was delicious. All y heir portions are generous. For drinks we had the coconut coffee and even though I don't drink coffee, I did have a few sips of it. The other drink was the Deja vu lemonade; my personal preference is a little less sugar but flavor wise it was pretty good. read more

Came here for dinner last night with the family. We will definitely return. Service was great, food was delicious AND THEY ARE KID FRIENDLY!!!!! The word diamond in the rough comes to mind. Reason being... you would not expect to find such a cute and nice little gem of a restaurant in the middle of a sketchy strip mall in Fullerton. This is a Vietnamese and Peruvian fusion cuisine with most of the classics like the Saltado, Pho, garlic noodles, etc. The service is really good over here as well. Everyone is extremely friendly and made sure you're enjoying everything at all times. For starters I got the spicy wonton and the pork spring roll. Between the two I would definitely get the wonton again and their spicy sauce was just amazing!! The main dish took me a while to chose but I had to try their version of the Lomo Saltado and the Lobster Garlic Noodles. The beef on the Saltado was just so tender and delicious I could eat a bowl of that on its own. The fries and the sauce had good flavor and they definitely used quality items. As far as the garlic noodles, they had everything you needed, the strong garlic sauce, and a nice crispy fries lobster. Also try their lychee drink as it's a very nice refresher. read more

If you are in the area, definitely give this place a try! We got the pork belly spring rolls and lomo saltado. The pork belly had a more crispy bacon kind of texture but the sauce that accompanied it was great. The lomo saltado was flavorful. The meat was tender and juicy. It was good with or without the sauce that came with it. Service was great. Gave us recommendation and had a good chat about the restaurant. It was a wooden garden vibe inside. Decided to stop in tonight after seeing all the great reviews! We ordered the Loma Saltado and Combination Pho. The Loma Saltado was flavorful and the meat was really tender! The pho was definitely average, the broth was not clear and was not as flavorful. Service was interesting as well, we asked for unsweet tea and coke with light ice and received sweet tea and coke with a lot of ice (filled to the top of the cup). Attention to detail goes a long way! Overall, 2.5 stars! We would not come back. We didn't have a bad experience, but there are better options in OC. Also, DO NOT rely on the reviews for this restaurant as they offer free drinks to anyone that leaves a five star review! They should work on their food and service and let it speak for itself; good reviews should never be bought. read more

I had lunch here at Omeli Kitchen, and the food was great--but the service was even better! My server, Valorie, was very welcoming and eager to help with food recommendations. I ordered the Lomo Saltado, which was delicious. My only feedback is that I wish there had been a bit more beef to go with the rice and fries. Other than that, it's a great hidden gem. I'll definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu. read more
