Western skillet

It's set in a location with plenty of parking, building outside reminds me of a bank but the inside is very spacious with two dining rooms. I ordered the Western skillet w/ham...I quietly questioned where's the ham, lots of potatoes and green bell peppers, the 3 over easy eggs, were great and my husband enjoyed his clam chowder and Cobb salad Lack of service, not from our waitress but bus boys, whom I asked for water and take home box...ended up asking two other people . I won't be returning.

Surprised I do not have a review for Omega Restaurant. My wife and I've been here several times over the years. They have plenty of parking in this shared lot. The ambiance is an old style diner with soft rock playing, yet Spanish music playing from the kitchen. The service was attentive, friendly, and polite. I like that they serve their entire menu all day long, so you could get a dinner entree at breakfast hours or breakfast meal during dinner hours. All Eggs and Omlettes: Served with country potatoes with onions and bell peppers, hash browns, beans, toast butter and jelly, or 1 pancake. Homestyle salsa served on request. Corned Beef Hash & Eggs (poached), hash browns, & pancake (4/5). Though it was canned corned beef, they griddled it so it had a slight char to it. The eggs were medium poached, I should have specifed. The hash browns and pancake were standard fare and good as expected. Overall, 3.5 stars but rounding up for the service.

I am Back! I had a very tasty breakfast burrito. It was so good. I enjoyed every bite along with the salsa. It was definitely better than Taco Bell. Great service. And great ambiance.

Excellent food and outstanding service! My family and I have been coming here for years, and it always feels like home. The staff truly treats you like family , Cristina always greets us with her warm, welcoming smile, and Rafa never lets your coffee cup go empty. The food is consistently delicious , the kids can't get enough of the hash browns and eggs, and the steak is always cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is very kid-friendly, making it a perfect spot for families. Generous portions, great prices, and genuine hospitality make this one of our favorite places to eat!

Omega is still one of my favorite breakfast places. We usually come during off hours so we never have had to wait for a seat. I went on a Saturday afternoon with my sister and her boyfriend. They shared two dishes and I got the steak and eggs. The staff is always lovely, and we love them. The steak was pretty tender and well seasoned, and they cooked it to medium rare, as asked for. If you don't ask for medium rare they usually start it at medium. The potion is large, so god for a big eater, or two small eaters. The hash browns are good and they have steak sauce and horseradish if you ask for it. It usually comes with their house salsa but it's too spicy for me. My sister and her boyfriend got a special French toast and huevos rancheros to share. They loved it. The French toast was also larger than we were expecting. The waitress told us it's one of their most popular.

Omega is consistently yummy! My go to's are corned beef hash and eggs, or Joe's omelette. Super friendly staff and atmosphere. They hold group events in banquet room. Plenty of parking in lot.

Good service. Nice staff. Outdated decor. One of a few places that serves a Monti Cristo. Also a decent tuna melt...I'll go back. Wanna try the steak n eggs

Great place to be and have a killer breakfast. Even if loco moco is not on the menu, they will make it for yours fast and friendly service indeed. I come often when I'm staying in the area. Environment is relax and tons of seating if you want to bring in a crowd. They also have a bar that is lively when football is in season. A must stop if you're in the area

Cam for lunch this time just as pleased with my lunch as I was with my breakfast I really think this place is under rated for good lunch or breakfast you should stop by

the atmosphere of this restaurant is rather unpleasant. We also waited way too long for food we could've made using the things in my pantry.

I heard some terrible news that you have closed for good. Please say it isn't true? I ate there at least 4 times a week & the food the service & the people were great. I will miss the place very much & my friends who worked there especially.

The Omega is not closed. Did not close during the pandemic. Open all day for breakfast lunch and dinner!

So they decided why not Mil's? L O C A T I O N Mil's Diner is located off of Calaveras Blvd and Abbott Ave. It's in a plaza close to Goodwill. The parking situation here can be very difficult during the busy times of eating. I N S I D E It's a diner! Yes it feels like an old school diner with a bar area and booths to sit in. They do have a restroom if you need it. M E N U It's a fairly extensive menu with all your good ol' diner food from breakfast fare to lunch. That day I decided I'd get the 50/50 (2 bacon & 2 sausage) with over easy eggs, hashbrowns and sourdough bread. Pricing feels a little bit on the high side, but to be honest it's been so long since I've been to a diner that this might be normal. How was it? It was good! The hashbrowns a tad bit oily, but I was expecting that. Eggs good, bacon crispy, sausage bouncy. S E R V I C E It was warm, friendly and lovely. The wait though was uff. So if you can send out someone early to scout the line or I'm unsure if they can put your name down as you drive over. But the wait times can get really long. I think we waited about an hour or maybe 40-ish min? But this was a Sunday at lunch time and we had 4 people. We actually paid by cash which was easier for all of us and we didn't need change back. Amazing when we all have cash handy. O V E R A L L I think it's a pretty solid diner with good food with friendly service. I'm sure we'll come back again as we enjoyed our time there and catching up. Just be prepared for the wait as it's just that popular!

After we ordered our food, I switched ketchup bottles with the table next to mine because I wanted a fuller bottle, and the fat lady worker scolds me - "hey don't just put an empty bottle on another table" with a snarky attitude. Hey you trashy haired lady, I don't work here, don't tell me what to do. Most of the workers are nice but that old bag had some self-righteous attitude. Seen it a few times before too, with her gross ass make up. If you're so concerned about the ketchup bottles why don't you do your own damn job and make sure they're full, you lazy cow. She kind of ruined my meal, but I'm glad to hear other people complain about her rude behavior. She's probably a miserable sack of potatoes that's mad at herself because she doesn't know how to put down the fork.

I've been frequenting this restaurant for about 3 years. I almost always have the same server,…read moreMiriam. She's outstanding and always helps me with my every-time request - make it spicy! It started with the barbacoa chilaquiles. When I saw that that the chilaquiles in the menu had habaneros on it, I knew I had found my place. I often cook at home with ghost and scorpion peppers, which are not traditionally found in restaurants, but they've done some pretty amazing improvisation when I've asked to make it work. One time, I recall getting the chilaquiles and asking for extra habaneros and asking if their chef had a secret hot sauce that was stronger than "white people spicy." Miriam brought me a little ramekin of a pepper sauce puree that the chef prepared - and it was EPIC. I don't ask for that every time, but you know whoever was on the line took the request seriously and actually had some fun making my mouth burn. I can't tell you how appreciative I am of their willingness to "play" in the kitchen. Today, I went for breakfast and ordered the Carne En Su Jugo for my first time. Not just here - first time ever eating it anywhere. I had totally forgotten to ask them to make it spicy! I asked Miriam if there was anything they could do to spice it up. She assured me they could. Then I received it. And I tasted it. And it was cathartic. The chefs prepared a PERFECTLY spicy stew, and I downed that whole thing in 7 minutes. It was delicious, put some sweat on my brow, and left me feeling more than satisfied with my meal. I love this place! Miriam is always great every time I've been there. I will continue supporting this business as long as they keep doing business. Please give my compliments to the chefs again. Their creativity keeps me coming back for spicy treats!

Bonus points for having fun seasonal choices. The kids menu has good options but it is kinda pricey for being the kids menu. Bonus points because they use handmade tortillas for the kids taco. They also offer unique things like a breakfast molcajete and a mini birria pambazo. We didn't try those but it sounded intriguing. Also so many drink choices if you're looking for a michelada or mimosa. Cute vibes inside & love the plates and ceramics they use. It is small though so wouldn't really accommodate a large group easily, especially if it's busy. There is parking but even though it wasn't busy it was hard to find a spot. All that said, it was a very mid experience. The meat for the kids birria and the chilaquiles was more on the dry side. Same for the rice. The Grinch milkshake was good and cute. The tamarindo mimosa was good after we asked for extra tamarindo. Initially it was very heavy on the champagne. The country potatoes were yummy. The gingerbread pancakes were also dry & didn't taste like gingerbread. Also was sad that they were out of the advertised Holiday drinks: chocolate abuelita and atole de mazapán. I ordered the hot chocolate in its place but even though it looked cute, it tasted watery. I came here specifically for the Holiday items so that's why I was so disappointed with that. Service was okay. Our server was friendly when we interacted with her but it was very limited. Pretty much when she took our order & then when I flagged her down to return my pancakes & hot chocolate. She was very understanding though about that so I appreciated that. Overall, if they made adjustments to their flavor & quality it could be really good. From this visit I would say their Mexican food is better than their American food. I'd try again in the future, just not any time soon.

If you KNOW your plates are damaged, why are you still serving food on them? They offered to replace the meals, but we were already halfway through eating and had our 3-month-old baby with us, so sitting there longer was not practical. We asked for some form of compensation considering the situation, but both the waitress and the manager flat out refused. The manager's attitude was dismissive and unapologetic, as if serving food on broken dishes was completely normal. When I said I didn't feel comfortable paying full price for such poor and unsafe service, the waitress threatened to call the cops. Imagine threatening customers instead of taking responsibility for your own restaurant's negligence. In the end we were forced to pay the full bill for a terrible experience. Horrible customer service, zero accountability, and complete disregard for customer safety. Will never return and would strongly advise others to avoid this place unless you enjoy eating off broken plates and being treated disrespectfully.

The food is worth the wait. Don't sleep on the black pepper sausage danish: the croissant dough is crisp and flaky, and doesn't get soggy when baked around the sausage. It's comparable in execution to the Croissant Hot Dog served at Dominique Ansel Las Vegas (in Caesar's Palace), but at a way more accessible price point. Which isn't to say this place is cheap; like many artisanal bakeries in California, it comes with a premium price tag, but at least it's not Dominique Ansel pricy. Croissante's croissant dough baked goods (viennoiserie) is pun-intended "proof" that you get what you pay for. The dining space is limited and lively. Conversing is a little tough, but if you just need a place to sit while eating, it's just right. Extra special shout out this time to Dill who had informed me the fried chicken dishes today would be an hour and a half wait. After deciding there wasn't anything I wanted more than the Fried Chicken and Spiced Croffle (croissant dough baked in a waffle iron) and was happy to wait, they were nice enough to check in with the kitchen and see if it could be made sooner than that. I didn't expect to be accommodated, so I was happy they were able to do that. You get two chicken thighs and croffles per order. It's enough for two light eaters to share.
