Order a burrito and at first glance it looked small and skinny. I feel like they could have stuffed it a bit more. But it was delicious. Could use more cilantro and onion. Just happen to be in the area decided to stop by was looking for a four star and was just going to leave to go to a different four star and I'm glad I didn't. This Taqueria deserves to be in mid four star range. My only complaint was the size of the burrito if it could've been 30% bigger I would definitely drive out here to get a burrito. Which doesn't make sense because I live in San Ramon and I probably could just pay for extras in the burrito and make it that much larger for what I would have to pay in gas lol. Price point for the burrito was also comparable to 80% of Taquerias in the area. Every ingredient in the burrito was perfect. It came out piping hot as well. The carne asada was seasoned to perfection and also had a great char to it. The rice was moist. The beans were flavorful the guac, sour cream and cheese were all good as well. Perfect five star on service I was greeted by smiles from every staff member. The ambience of the restaurant was that of a nice Taqueria with busy orange walls and menus that are on LCD screens for easy reading. The staff is bilingual and I ordered no salsa on my burrito and got no salsa so no issues with the order either. Food was delicious. It's a fairly typical taqueria setup with a far ranging menu (much more than you'd expect and more like a high end Mexican restaurant. The prices are between those two extremes. I think the counter attendant who took my order was having a bad night. She was distracted and I had to repeat and clarify my order several times. I went here for their Thursday Taco Special ( 3 tacos for $6) during lunch hour. This special is only for chicken, al pastor, carnitas, and chorizo. I tried the chicken, al pastor, and carnitas. All were delicious with sufficient salsa. I can see how if you take them to go, they might get soggy by the time your home. During lunch hour, there was about five people ahead of me. 3.5 stars. Their super burrito is delicious but I took away half a star because it doesn't come with chips, salsa, or any sauces. Usually that stuff is complimentary at a Mexican restaurant. I picked them up and they ripped apart.. they used white tortillas that were soggy.. the meat was very regular with not much flavor... if you want to go on "taco Thursday" they only have meat flavors like chicken, pastor and some other meats no one orders.. no salsa in my bag, no limes, no radish, and no napkins... the ladies look good and that's probably the only reason they have a crown of all men but the service is below average.. They do offer free chips and salsa (no refill) but my only gripe is that they are really stingy with the chips - it's maybe 10 chips they give. Review is for the couple things we grabbed for breakfast, still exploring local-ish for a kickass breakfast burrito and saw De Los Altos had something similar to what we were looking for. We also like how they are open early, we rise early for the kids and can't wait till 9 or 10 to get Breakfast at some of the closer places. We door-dashed our order and it came well packaged, everything was still warm despite how cold it was in the morning. Everything was also very well labelled so we knew exactly what was in every package without having to open it. The good: I liked the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito and would get it again, I got a little of everything in every bite and it tasted great on a cold day. Everything worked well together, noting the weter scrambled eggs and chorizo were a good combo. We did not like the packaged salsa that came with the Breakfast Burritos at all, you can see it in the picture with the Ham Breakfast Burrito. It was really watery and tasted heavily like Tomatoes, it reminded us of the salsa's that don't need refrigeration that are sold near the chips at grocery stores. Weird thing is the Asada Fries came with yummy Pico De Gallo. The Ham breakfast burrito did not work so well with the weter scrambled eggs and there was too much ham inside to the point where it was overpowering. Asada fries were made w/ fries about the size as McDonald Fries. Carne Asada was OK as well as the toppings. Did not like the fries, they tasted a little chalky and some were pretty dry. read more

Check this place out today as I was in the plaza for the laundromat... Order a super burrito and a medium mexican drink. Total was $15-16 The burrito was huge. It was ok... Plenty of beans and rice and some carne asada... But mostly beans and rice.... The free chips was free... And the thing that sort of surprise me was that after using up 3 small cups of salsa they started to charge $0.25 for each additional salsa ... A solid Taqueria that's only a short drive from my house. The menu is vast, portion sizes are large and the food is delicious. What more can you ask for? I went last week and was pleasantly surprised to see customer dining-in, as the county moved into the next tier. They had 3 or 4 tables available for dine-in and they were all taken. It's nice to see these local restaurants getting back to some normalcy, as we continue to deal with this pandemic. I enjoyed my Al Pastor burrito. The meat was flavored well and as usual, they aren't shy with the size of the burrito. Per usual, my burrito was delish. My wife ordered the chicken Super Nachos and added chicken. Round 6 of the bfast burrito challenge is in the books! Good sized burrito filled with nicely spiced chorizo, eggs, potatoes, and salsa. The potatoes could use a bit more seasoning, though. Two salsas and chips accompanied my To Go order. Definitely use the yellowish sauce/salsa on the burrito as it has a nice kick and good flavor. The pico version should be used on the chips as the chips could have used more salt on them. As previously said, it was a good sized burrito for around $12; I ate half at bfast and the rest for lunch. It is now close to 4pm and I am still kinda full! read more
