I called before coming in about an hour before closing to make sure they can take me and was told that I was ok to come in (just needed a gel x fill). He was rushing the whole time, talking on his phone on speaker, talking to the other techs the whole time just not paying attention to what he was doing... I came in with better nails after 3 weeks of wear and grow out than I left with.... (PS I asked for short, sharp square nails and shower a photo so there was 0 confusion) I have a trip in 2 days and don't even have time to fix them... they charged me $55 for this. I went to this place twice to validate my experience and it was fantastic both times. I cannot recommend this place more. After the first visit, I had to retouch my gel polish in Miami and that place absolutely destroyed my nails. I came back to Ombre to get them fixed and they delivered. Flawlessly. Went in at 5pm on a Saturday and it was not busy at all, maybe 2 other pedicures being done. I went in for cat eye nails and a pedicure and they sat me to do the pedicure right away. Another tech walked over and got started on my nails right when I sat down too. Both techs seemed to be rushing the manicure and pedicure but I didn't know why, it wasn't close to closing and it wasn't packed. My toes came out nice and the pedicure itself was thorough even though it was a little rushed. The cat eye nails also came out nice as far as design but the acrylic is terrible. Its uneven on a few fingers on each hand. Looks nice from a distance but they are not smooth and have dips from it being so uneven. read more

After getting recommendations from several friends to check Ombre out I decided to give them a try. I was told I would get some alcoholic beverages during my services. I got a shellac Manicure. My tech was nice, but no conversation really. I was not offered anything to drink until I mentioned oh you serve drinks? Then I was brought a glass of red wine. Genuinely so confused how this place has good reviews. Went in for a dip manicure and left very disappointed. Nail tech rushed through my nails like the were closing or fully booked... I walked in 5 minutes after opening and was the only one in there. Nails came out patchy with colorless spots, filed incredibly unevenly and are super scratchy at the tips, remnants from their brushes were left plastered to my nails and still under the top coat, and no cuticle care was provided... not even cuticle oil or hand lotion. After washing my hands and noticing the mistakes, I went to ask for some touch ups and my chair was already filled with another client that had just walked in and the nail tech was standing at the counter waiting for me to pay. If you are boring and don't care for technique or skill. This is your place. The foundation of my nail is absolutely garbage. The shape, which is supposed to be coffin is disgusting not even. I would've done better buying Amazon press on nails. This is not a place for creativity. I wasn't even asking for a straight line. The acrylic application is SLOPPY and THICK! The drill only does so much, but she thought it was going to work a miracle. Pay attention to how many times I was cut at the cuticle, but LOOK at how crooked my nail application is. I'm telling her this is wrong and she says no. This is the lady who sits directly behind/in front of the chip basket. Save your money and time by looking for another place. I just did a walk in for SNS removal. They were super quick, and left my nails looking restored! I unfortunately did not get the name of the nail tech but she was super sweet and fast! I was coming to this nail salon for years now but unfortunately today will be my last time getting serviced here. One person decided to show up at 9:40 when on the door it shows they open at 9:30. The next few, maybe 2 more, trickled in around 10. When I asked Nancy, the owner, about why her employees were late today, she was full of excuses (told me everyone lives North) and it was cold and there was an accident. They will also bypass you and put you in the pedicure chair for you to wait even if you have made an appointment. Making an appointment here is really not a pleasant experience- and if you don't ask for Alan- you are really rolling the dice and you can get an absolute HORRID pedicure. (i mean it was like she was blind when she painted my toes) For me the final straw was when i showed up to an apt 5 minutes late (I had called to say i was still coming but there was an accident) and when i walked in Alan was starting with someone else... I went in for a fill and a nice light color, when they were done you could see on only one hand where the old fill was.... INFECTION & BLISTERS After reading some good reviews I decided to get my nails done here. Ill never understand why after telling them what you want they'll speak in their language to another worker and then back in English to you. Anyways, I got my pedicure then continued my nails. The lady Vanny was nice but was very rough with filing. There was 3x I had to pull my hand from her (instinct) because it was painful! She kept hurting my index finger on the left hand. It was SO sensitive it was bleeding. 1 week and a few days later I have an infection. Days before it was sensitive and flaky, I didn't think much of it as I thought it was probably healing. BUT NO. It got worse now to think of it, I remember the file she was using was USED (had white marks), she was using this file when she hurt my index finger. The atmosphere was nice but after this I will not be going back due to lack of cleanliness especially during a pandemic. read more

WORST PLACE EVER. DO NOT GO HERE. My mom and I came for easy pedicures because I live in the building and the service was seriously horrendous. My guy was nice but dug out my nail and cut it without asking- now my toe is red and infected. My toenail also broke off and the polish job was awful. To make matters worse, my mom's lady was so rude I wish I knew her name but I'm sure the salon knows who I'm talking about. She did my mom's pedicure and was SO RUDE. She threw the nail polish folder and was slapping her legs around. The guy told us she was mad she was doing a "cheaper pedicure." This place was horrible and now I have to deal with a fungus. We both got them and Thursday and it's 2 days later. WORST PLACE EVER. I actually had an issue with my dip on my fingernails (one of the workers put gel over my dip and the top coat peeled off a few days after getting them done) and never came back so not sure why I did for a pedicure. This was the worst nail experience that I can remember. The nail esthetician cut my finger and also made my nails shorter than requested. On top of that, my nails are extremely thick and don't look good. I wish I went somewhere else to get my nails done. As bad as the service was, I was in shock how I was treated during checkout. Their yelp page offers a $2 discount if you check-in. I tried to claim it but the cashier told me the $2 discount is only for people that leave five start reviews (not for a check-in). I showed him the offer on the yelp page and the cashier said that yelp made a mistake and didn't post the offer correctly. The cashIer was flat out lying to me. The cashier literally made me post a five star review in front of him before applying the discount. It was disgusting. Yel would never advertise a deal that would offer a discount for a five star review. This place is dishonest and I do not trust them. I will never go back. read more

Two stars because my pedicure was decent. I'm bummed out because I live right here and now I can never go back. Don't get SNS here seriously. Pedicures are fine... clean and relaxing and usual experience. Cons: 1. They didn't push back my cuticles. Just drilled them and left skin dangling off. First off ouch, second off ew. 2. They drilled my real nails down irreparably. They're thin and hurt now. 3. My first nail popped off two days after I got them done. I chalked it up to maybe my natural nails being too short this time (my fault) but let's be real that's never stopped me when going to my usual salon where they've never popped off on me. I got my nail fixed and then two days later came off my ring finger nail. Literally was getting into bed and SNAP. Then another two days later. SNAP goes the thumb nail they just fixed pulling up my pants. AGAIN. Ugh super disappointed. Oh, and now I look ridiculous on my first week at a new job and my vacation when I have absolutely 0 time to get them fixed. This has been a rollercoaster of experiences. To be sure, I've gone there at least 3 times to have my nails done. And every single time, my nails have broken off within days of having them done. Typically I get acrylic or SNS nails. I've loved the designs each time - they come out very nice. But within days (sometimes as little as one day) my nails snap off or break. Most recently I had my nails done for a formal event in another state. The day after having them done, my nail broke when I was trying to do something simple. I went to have it repaired at another salon, and the nail technician told me that whoever did my nails originally (at Ombre) had not put on enough acrylic - it was too thin - and because of that, the remaining nails would continue to break. She was right as one-by-one my nails broke off. I do love the designs, but it's just not a good investment. It costs too much money for a full set that doesn't even last one week. read more

I'm having a hard time writing this because I wanted to love this place. I had to run home and finish getting ready for my work holiday party that evening, so I didn't really have time for much else. It was so clean and everyone was so nice, but my gel full set is just so sloppy. My pedicure was 5 stars, Amy was amazing and really took care of me. About halfway through she burned herself on something and I felt so bad. Now for the acrylic nails, this was rough from the start. First, most of my nails are crooked. I had her fix my thumb because it was so bad, but I wasn't really paying attention to the other ones until they were painted. She also cut me multiple times and then said "wow you cut easily"... uh had no clue how to respond. She goes to clean up the blood with what I though was a water bottle, nope it was alcohol. I tell them this burns and start waving my hands around. On top of this, they didn't have the color I requested and didn't tell me until they were already painting my nails (I wanted a marble effect) Overall, not a good experience other than the pedicure. They kept asking me if I was okay and if I was going to write a review, which I said yes and let my technician know that I was in pain and disappointed with the cuts and the shape of my nails.
