We started with the vegetarian lavosh, which was YUM. It was a perfectly crispy bread with cheese melted on it, and topped with tomatoes, black and green olives, artichokes, and cilantro. Very tasty and it didn't need any meat on it, it was so flavorful. Next we had the falafel with hummus (I recently went flexitarian, so 90% vegetarian), and it was divine as falafel goes! Crispy outside and soft warm inside, with lots of tzatziki sauce for dipping. Great snack, or meal if paired with another small item. And pair with it, I did. I also got the barley soup in a cup and it was warm and filling, like a soup that would be perfect for a chilly Fall day. My husband had the shish kabob, which he loved. He had been annoyed at the Rookies situation but the lavish put him righ back in a good mood. And for dessert, we had both the tiramisu and baklava. Both were expertly made and deliciously sweet.
