We stopped in on St. Patricks Day and it was surprisingly busy for an Armenian restaurant. But I can see why people come in, it's fantastic! We started with the appetizer platter, it includes a few dips and salads. I am Lebanese, and my grandmother made Tabouli when i was a kid, and this was so good, she would have approved. The gyro wrap was also good. I got a side order of fries, they tasted just like Sysco fries, so nothing to write home about. My husband let me try the kebabs, and that was also really tasty and full of flavor. I'd recommend either entree.

Excellent fresh food with a romantic setting. Customer service was on point. The food was way above the norm. (That was a thought from my husband.) I wasn't feeling great but I needed to eat so we stopped here. My husband has been here and I had not so we ordered a couple of kebabs and thought it was going to be more of a fast food kind of place but it was really pretty. It was about 7 o'clock at night and we wanted to get something quickly. This was the place. They were quick with our order. It was fresh and delicious. I love kebabs and Middle Eastern food and this hit the spot. I felt a lot better after we left, it was just what I needed.

OMG some of the best food EVER!!! All those awesome reviews did not lie!!! My husband and I chose the 5-dip appetizer because we both wanted to try different things. The portions of each dip were huge and enough for me a meal alone. I loved all of the dips and couldn't pick a favorite honestly. All the dips were very flavorful! My husband chose lamb while I went with chicken that was moist, packed with flavor, and delicious as well. I cannot wait to comeback and bring our boys next time. Low key atmosphere with great service!

Surprisingly busy for a late lunch...I think everyone else followed the steak smells like we did. Staff was quick, courteous and helped us pick a good fit for our group. Cucumber Dip was fresh, flavorful, and cooool. Definitely Ample Pita to dip, and some left over for meal dipping. Beef Loin Kabobs were definitely the hit! Fresh off the grill. Spiced very well but not over powering to a great beef dish. Rice was a great addition to match. Overall an amazing experience, good value, and delicious.

This has to be the closest to Turkish food that I've had in years... I cannot wait to go back! We decided on the five dip spread to start off, and all the dips were flavorful and tasted great. I think the baba ghanoush was my favorite, and it paired nicely with my lamb chops. The lamb chops were flavorful and cooked perfectly, I could have ordered at least two more orders. I'm sure my boys will love the chicken kebabs when we bring them next time. The server was super friendly and provide great service. Overall great price for the amount of food that we received as well.

Came for lunch today for the first time. Really amazing experience. From the service to the food it was all excellent.. the eggplant dip aka baba ganoush was a great starter choice. The chicken kabob plate is huge! Lot of food but prepared fresh and so good! Can't wait to come back for more.

We've been to Omaha Kebabs many times, as we live right by the North Park Plaza that it's located in, and it's one of the best restaurants in Omaha. I wouldn't keep going back if it wasn't! I first visited Omaha Kebabs with my friend group who has a Supper Club to try new places. I fell in love on that first visit and have been back many times since. The vibe is very upscale with wood and brick accents and red uplighting, along with easy listening music playing (like Tracy Chapman and Coldplay). The service is great, with very attentive staff who check on you multiple times and aren't annoyed with a million questions. Our Supper Club group shared the Appetizer Platter, which is an arrangement of different dips and pita breads. It featured eggplant dip, tabouleh, tzatziki, and hummus (among others). My favorites were the hummus and tzatziki - they were not the store bought tasting dips, definitely homemade, with love! The times I have been back after that first visit, I have gone with my husband, and he agrees it's one of his favorites in town. He and I love to start with the Cucumber Dip with pita bread (I call it tzatziki because it reminds me of that, but I think they may call it Cucumber Dip on the menu). It's so tasty and creamy, and the pita is warm and goes so well with the dip. We also tried the Falafel with Tahini recently. The falafel was so delicious, and the tahini sauce was smooth and so flavorful. You can't go wrong with either of these to begin your meal! The kebabs are all amazing, as they are the restaurants namesake. I like the Chicken Breast Kebabs best, because they are huge and juicy, and hearty but still a bit light (after all those starters). My husband likes the Pork Belly Kebabs and has shared a few bites with me. They are super tender and basically melt in your mouth. If you're a pork fan, these are your ticket! Each kebab entree comes with a little salad along the side of the kebab bits, and some flavorful rice below the meat. So you're not just getting a plate of meat by itself. And don't forget to save room for dessert! They have a few to choose from, but we always stick with the Baklava. It's gigantic, with a million layers of paper thin filo, finely chopped nuts, and topped with a delectable honey sauce. It's definitely on the sweet side, but if you're ordering a dessert, isn't that what you're wanting? Definitely check out Omaha Kebabs for a delicious meal with friends, family, or for a date night or business dinner - because it's that good, it will impress anyone and everyone you bring!

Food came out a little slow, but it was hot and fresh so no complaints there. Pork belly was seasoned perfectly and the rice was good. The appetizer platter was amazing! So many options that it would be a meal in itself. The music was great and the restaurant was clean. Staff refilled drinks very quickly! A very nice hidden gem! We will definitely return!

I don't know how I missed this place as it's less than 2 miles from my home! Great kebabs and hummus! Just the right amount of food, flavor and tenderness! Service was friendly and quick during a moderately busy weekday lunch. Can't wait to come back!

Went on a little date-y date last night with the hubs, and while our first choice was something we've done before, T had the brilliant idea to change gears, and head to THIS amazing place. If you haven't had Armenian food lately, here's an excellent place to start back up at. We ordered the appetizer platter, which included my new love, tabule! The perfect amount of acidity when you're also eating it with killer hummus, beet salad, cucumber dip, and a smokey eggplant dip. While I didn't particularly care for the eggplant dip, T raved about it! I'd like to try their falafel next time. We also got the chicken breast kebab, served with their house salad (YUM) and basmati rice (oh so good!). I could live on basmati rice alone! I didn't really notice the smell of any protein listed, being baked, grilled, or sautéed so I wonder if perhaps they have pre-determined portions set aside in the kitchen, and kept warm until ordered? If I think about it, I didn't hear a peep from the kitchen in the form of cooking; and we sat roughly 2' from the look-in. The chicken was seasoned well, wasn't dry - super thankful for - and went well with the entire entree. Next time we come, I'm committed to trying either their pork loin kebab or the ground beef kebab. Service was impeccable! The gal working, single-handedly timed, maintained, and attended to seven tables, two at the bar, and an online order with such ease. The noise level was beautiful... started off with music, and as it got busier, there was zero music and just the hum of tables conversing. My kinda place! While there was an unidentified black object in T's water glass, we didn't feel the need to bring it to anyone's attention. I highly recommend you try them if you haven't already! P.S. capped off the night with some Coldstone; mint mint for him, and "I forget the name" for me.

Fantastic little spot! Hubs and I were immediately and warmly greeted as we came in. Our server was friendly and polite, efficient but not pushy (it was just under an hour before closing time) We ordered the falafel appetizer and it did not disappoint! Perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and not at all dry on the inside. We split the beef loin kebab and swapped the salad for pita bread. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. The rice was just the right texture and the onions added the perfect zing. We added a side of spicy garlic sauce that the waitress said the kitchen was trying out. It was the perfect flavor combination to complement the meal. The spicy garlic had a little kick but nothing overwhelming. I hope it becomes a regular option on their menu! Getting the baklava for dessert is a must. Honey and pistachios on ice cream is my new favorite thing!

I was clearly wrong, there is a such thing as a perfect sambusa. The bread was thin enough to taste it, but not so bready that the bread was the star. The meat was chopped steak not ground meat and the sambusa was stuffed full, 4 of them is a whole meal. And the filling was full of flavor, layers of flavor, it alone is a reason to eat there. Also the kebab was served with a perfectly dressed fresh tomato, red onion and cucumber salad and the pilav was served with a perfectly dressed lettuce, red onion and tomato salad. The Pilay was pretty good, the meat was a bit dry, but the flavors in the rice was on point and the garbanzo beans were creamy and flavorful, not slightly sandy and garbanzos can be. They definitely did not come from a can. That kebab, whew THAT KEBAB, was off the chain and they served it with a red sauce that seemed simple but flavorful with a little kick, I think I ate more bread than anything because I was dipping my bread in that red sauce. The service was friendly and the decor was comfortable and welcoming and colorful. I will definitely be back. And it was affordable, 2 entrees, a side, order of bread and green tea was $47 before tip.

The interior is very colorful and welcoming, with greens, reds, and yellows, the colors of the Afghan flag, which was very cool. Our server was a young man (we think he was possibly the owner's son), and he was professional and efficient in taking our orders and keeping our drinks filled. Our group tried many dishes and each one was flavorful and came as a generous serving. We started with the potato bolani, which was a soft and fluffy naan type bread filled with potato and served with a lassi type dip and a chutney - it was also perfect to go with any of the meat dishes we tried. We also had the Mantu to start - a tasty little dish of succulent lamb dumplings, with a savory and sweet topping of beans and yogurt. Very interesting flavor profile for sure. Another dish we tried was the Chicken Biryani which came atop some flavorful rice. The chicken was dark meat, which I'm not usually a fan of, but it worked in this case. It was also topped with a lot of onions and an egg, which I wasn't a fan of, so just did not eat those parts. One of us had the Chicken Breast Cube Kebabs which came as little cubes atop the rice, with a hefty helping of a red sauce/marinade that had a little bit of heat. Needed another lassi to cool down after this one! Another tried the Lamb Kabob which is an absolute classic and you can't go wrong ordering that. We shared a few desserts to try: -Baklava/Baghlawa, which can be found in many cultures (Greek, Turkish), so I'm sure many have had this dessert. Nuts, dough, honey, yum. -Sheer Peera, which was described as a "milky fudge" and tasted very nutty but with a slightly floral flavor added in. Overall, I'd say this is a great place to try Afghan cuisine. It's not fine dining or anything, and definitely be prepared for some spicy flavors - but it's for sure a place to try a few new things!

I was surprised at how good the flavor of the dressing was on the salad, and although it was a pretty simple salad, it was definitely a large and filling enough meal for me with the amount of beef that came on top. I also got the extra grilled vegetables, and these were delicious! Kind of a surprise to see it. It was just one large piece of each vegetable, but it was still plenty of food, and worth the charge for me. The environment is pretty simple in plain, definitely feels like a hole in the wall spot. The restroom is past the kitchen, so you get a good view into the front of house and back of house stations. Overall, this was a great meal, although just a little too pricey in my opinion.
