Came here with some friends for lunch. The outdoor seating area is very cute. Wide selection of beers, some wines, and 1 cider. We ordered greek food (I believe they have another section of their menu with German cuisine). The food was okay. Nothing memorable.. salad with a lot of dressing and greasy French fries. I wouldn't come back here for the food, but I would recommend this place to beer-drinkers. read more

I used to go to Olympus quite regularly to just take a break have breakfast or a snack. Their dessert are unique and are pretty good -- especially Chocolate Fondant Cake and Tres Leches. Used to be my favorite cafe. Now it's a different story. This place opens at 11am and not at 9am as stated on Yelp. Would have saved me a car ride if they had updated their Yelp profile. Sounds quite negligent of them. Also, their $6-$7 mochas lack consistency. read more

Double posting here because they share the same space as Bierhaus. They failed to give me my order and 45 minutes later accused me of not paying. I don't care how good the food is, I don't think a customer should feel uncomfortable when the restaurant fails to deliver. I was with my family so it's not like I was some random person just waiting 45 minutes to get free food. Update: Wow, didn't think it can get worse. Apparently while they were fixing the order, they checked the cameras to see what happened. I've waited an hour for food. I don't care about the reason or an excuse, take the L. read more

Nice atmosphere, but the food, especially the Turkish, is not a real Turkish breakfast; it's more of a Greek style with no taste and nothing about it is authentic. Pastries are horrible. I would just order the Gyros and fries; you won't go wrong with that. The Turkish Meneme is totally different than what they advertise in the pics, with zero taste. Stopped by for brunch on a Sunday morning. They have a lot of outside seating available and it was a lovely day to sit outside. The food itself was pretty tasty. We got the vegetarian crepe, chicken crepe, shakshuka (very flavorful -- Must try!) and the french toast (another very well made item). Our main problem was the service. The food took too long to arrive, which is understandable since the place was almost all full. Our nutella french toast arrived without nutella and the turkish tea without coconut milk. When we pointed it out to the server, he was not able to comprehend what we were saying. Some better service here would be really appreciated! read more

Hello everyone and good day to you all, I'm Panda you already made have heard of me and the work that I do as a documentarian and Profession Photographer. I have been traveling in the state due to Covid-19 and visiting unknown places many people do not want to visit. My purpose for this visit and my first was to see the local Japanese and Asian community businesses. I would like to support but I was a little too late for lunch. So, I happen to stop by the Olympus for some Onion Ring "I didn't finish" end up giving those to a homeless man in need. The beer was good as well and the onion was good too. But I wanted to try something different other than Japanese and Korean foods. Yes, I did notice after, they do use a QR system to order, therefore no contact. The manager or owner was asking me an odd question as I was in the middle of a Livestream and someone told him some false information. "Why are you filming and they said "I wanted to talk to him" Yes, I had no clue what was going on, So I show the owner my credentials to the Media and Press. I came here to show and support local businesses in the wake of this stupid pandemic. I did explain this to him and he understood. I want to help as much as I can, even if it's just for a moment. Yes, you already know me, I support everyone because I am in a fight of my life being back here in the states. The seating was excellent, service was fast and easy to order. Shrimp Pasta $13.95 Olympus has a vast menu that stretches beyond mediterranean food. They do burgers, breakfast, sandwiches, italian, etc. as a result, I can expect most of their items to be a hit or miss. While this isn't the best pasta i've had, it wasn't all that bad. The noodles weren't overcooked and there were plenty of veggies/shrimp. The flavor in their sauce is where i felt they were lacking. It was quite bland. Ordered my food on Saturday 10pm through Uber only to have it cancelled 10:30pm with excused that kitchen closed at 10pm, even though restaurant closes at 11pm. Staff cancelled order probably because they want to go home early. Thanks for wasting my time and taking my order only to cancel it 30 minutes later when other restaurants stop taking orders. Not ordering from your restaurant again. read more

Wow! Finally found a Turkish place to have some breakfast. I was in heaven, especially since I was unsure what my experience would be given the 3.5 star rating. Ignore it and come on down! We ordered: -kaymak & bal: described as a Turkish dairy product served with honey and Turkish bread. It tastes like if Greek yogurt and clotted cream had a baby made in the heavens and sent straight to my tongue. Paired with honey and the freshly baked bread, this is a definite must order to share amongst the table. I almost ate the dairy product with a spoon. I think some not safe for work sounds were coming from my table as I devoured this. -gozleme: YES!! I love me some gozleme, although it wasn't freshly made in front of me like the last time (and only time) I have ever had it. It's like a savory crepe with feta and spinach stuffed inside, they also have a potato flavor. It was delicious after being heated up, although of course would be better fresh. I was just impressed I actually found this food item in California! -baked egg dish with olives and feta, I can't remember the name. It was also delicious and added some much needed protein to my carb heavy meal. Also came with a side of the delicious bread. -turkish coffee: full of coffee grounds, the way it should be, although I realized I would rather stick to normal espresso drinks after choking and aspirating the grounds. This man was just trying to buy a coffee -- he wasn't being overly disorderly. The owner, after charging him for the coffee, then called the police to remove the man for no apparent reason. I felt that this situation was inflated to be more than it was; the owner did not have to treat this man in this way just because of the way he looked and dressed. I was deeply saddened by this. The owner did not have to escalate the situation and mistreat the man in this way. Now the man is handcuffed in a polic car. I refuse to come to this restaurant again. I really enjoyed this place! I came here with my sister for lunch yesterday, and I was blown away form the selections. They serve authentic pastries/desserts from Turkey and Greece. The pastry case is arranged nicely and are priced at about $3.5 at most. I ordered an arrangement of bites to try. The first piece was their Borek which is thin flaky savory dough w/ ground beef. This is served warm and has a similar taste to an empanada but with the flaky dough. This is delish! I'd recommend pouring hot sauce on this lol The second thing I had was their Spanakopita which is another savory pastry with feta cheese and spinach. This was also delish and goes great with the assortments for lunch. I suggest ordering some baklava for dessert as well! they're great tasting and has rich honey that'll make your fingers sticky! Pair your meal with either a traditional tea or a Turkish coffee. Olympus is a great place for light lunch and carries traditional food that can't be seen at most Greek/Turkish joints around the area. I'm definitely coming back to try lots more! read more

This was one of those places that was on my list for a while but I never got around checking it out since it is close to home. I can't believe I waited so long to try this place. Food: Breakfast all day (they got me in already with this). Lot of different items on the menu to try, many mediterranean and turkish specialities that are not available in other places. They also serve standard breakfast and lunch(soup, sandwich, etc.) as well, for those who want to stick to American dishes. Plenty of bakery items, mostly turkish treats. I tried Revani and that was the best of all the other items that I tried. We also tried the Gyro omelette and Kavurmali Yumurta. The latter wasn't too great. Seating/Ambiance: Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The ambiance inside is pretty good. This might be my goto breakfast/coffee place now. Reducing one star because I was supposed to get pita bread along with my dish but the server forgot to bring it. He mentioned, it was on the way when he first came to serve the food but never came back. The place was fairly empty when I went and there were plenty of staff, so it was kinda odd that they forgot my side order. read more
