Ordered takeout on Jan 1. The boys got skewers w/ fries (one steak & one chicken) and I went with a side of lamb. The chicken & steak were both cooked perfectly, a nice char on the outside and moist on the inside. My boys don't eat the salad, so it makes for an easy lunch with a side of lamb. The staff greeted me when I entered and my order was ready on time. The only downside, the fries aren't quite as crispy as we'd like, could be a consequence of takeout ‍

Excellent price for the delicious Greek style food and lively vibe. I think it's pretty authentic but I'm not qualified to assess since I'm not Greek and I've never been to Greece, but it's delicious. Outstandin service too.

When did Nick the Greek expand their menu!? They have salads, burgers, and even frozen yogurt which I have yet to try. I ordered the Prasini Salad with a side of lamb/beef gyro. The salad had this lemon-y tangy dressing which just hit the spot. I told the hubby I found a new favorite salad spot. Unlike my last review, the meat was juicy and not greasy as I last remember.

+++ AMBIANCE +++ This place feels like an upscale McDonalds with a better color scheme hahaha. It definitely gives fast food vibes. I always get it to go so I don't sit there. +++ FOOD +++ \\ Mediterranean Steak Salad $17.95 + tax Dude this was pretty tasty, the meat portion is small but its yummy! The meat is cut into chunks. I love the crunchy chickpeas and the garlic toum is AMAZING. \\ Beef and Lamb Gyro $ 14.95 + tax There is a lot of meat in here, but very little veggie. It is pretty salty, but I put this on top of my salad and I felt like it was tasty. The meat is sliced thin! +++ SERVICE +++ The first time I went, I asked for more garlic toum and the cashier had no clue what I was talking about and she offered tzatziki instead which was nice! The second time I went, I asked for more tzatziki and I didn't get a dirty look that's a win! +++ OVERALL +++ I have already been here twice in 2 weeks. So yeah I will definitely be back (only for BOGOs though)! If you get a BOGO deal... its about $20 to feed 2 people, that's pretty good!

I stopped in to Nicks for lunch. I ordered the bowl with half chicken and half gryo. I also ordered the chicken lemon soup. I really enjoyed the bowl, the soup was not my favorite version of the Greek specialty I have ever had. Overall, the food was good and the price was right. I would eat here again!

Gorgeous and delicious bowl. Unfortunately, there was a hair in it, which I didn't find until I was halfway through. :(( Sad!

I love Greek food and this was my first visit to this restaurant! *Food* Beef/Lamb Gyro Pita : Gyro Pita is like a Greek-style burrito. It has a lot of meat, vegetables, and even french fries in a pita bread! It was more generous than I expected. The beef and lamb tasted more like beef than lamb. Good place to try new dishes:)

Kids meal with the chicken, skewer rice and pita bread.

The Greek bottle of white wine tastes like the countryside sat down next to you ~ coming from this Italian, that's a good thing! Start with the hearty lentil or velvety avgolemono soup and then share the rich Mousakka with your love, not to forget a heaping portion of the lip-smacking horotiki salad to cleans the palate between bites. All this before diving into choosing a juicy souvlaki or gyro protein - we love the pork & biftek. If your belly can handle it... the trio of dips is flavorful, but we CRAVE the spicy feta most. The owners are from Greece and promise to bring the most authentic and delicious Greek food in a casual and family-friendly environment. The Good: * Parking lot * Fast-casual order at the counter and they bring the food out to you, which is my favorite for lunchtime. * Friendly service * Bottled Beer and fermented grapes * Reasonable pricing * Moussaka was spot-on and delicious. For the uninitiated, it's basically a Greek lasagna, but instead of noodles they use delicious baked eggplant and a rich béchamel sauce to cover them and ground beef. It's my favorite Greek dish, and theirs is one of the best. * Chicken skewer was still moist despite being white meat. The Meh: * Horataki Salads are delicious, albeit maybe a touch too oily. Maybe try asking for SoS (Sauce on Side) if your stomach gets a little upset by too much oil. The Ugly: * Some of the seating in here needs replacing; I sat on one of their benches and I swear I got violated by a spring. 0_o Conclusion: Delicious Greek food for a fair price. Highly recommended. **They also own the similarly named restaurant in South SJ and Souvlaki's in Willow Glen.

This place is nestled in an industrial neighborhood and is probably really booming during the work week. We arrived around 1PM and there was a larger party of maybe 12 and another party of 4 and us...party of 9. There is patio seating and plenty of indoor seating. There was plenty of parking as they have a parking lot dedicated to their restaurant. Their menu is substantial. All the usual suspects of falafel, kufta, chicken and beef kabobs, humus & pita, etc. We ordered the following: 1. Sword fish plate: which was served with rice and vegetables. The fish was perfectly grilled and a great sized filet. 2. Falafel pita & falafel plate: the pita came with fries the plate came with veggies and rice. Both of the guests of our party that ordered these were quite happy with their order. 3. Beef kabob: these were large cubes of beef, that were seasoned well and grilled perfectly. You get a full skewer on a bed of rice and a side of vegetables. 4. Kufta kebob: which I ordered, and it was a large sized kabob that was bursting with flavor and juicy. On a bed of rice and a side of veggies. I wish they served basmati rice or a long grain rice and that the veggies were just grilled without the sauce. I felt the tomato sauce it was covered it overpowered the natural flavors of the array of veggies on the plate. 5. My mom ordered a 3pc lamb chops plate, and it typically comes over a bed of fries, but we substituted it for rice, and it came with the same side of veggies as the rest of ours. She said it was good and the size of the chops was decent. 6. I got there kind of late so the first half of our party ordered appetizers that we didn't get to try but I ordered an order of fried calamari and I must say my favorite part was what I think was a kalamata olive aioli. It was delicious! Will need to replicate at home. All in all, we were pleased and left satisfied and more importantly full. I'm sure we will be back!

How lucky were we to be able to dine outside on such a gorgeous night in Palo Alto? One of my favorite parts of the parklet is that they have adjustable windows, so you don't feel confined to the space. The fish and lamb shank were the winners in my book for food.
