Woo! So glad Yiassoo is still doing well! Was in the area, and stopped by around 2PM. Surprisingly, close to a full house inside. Two of us ordered: beef souvlaki plate $20.95 super gyros plate $20.95 Food took some time to come out, but comes out hot and nice flavors. Flavors are clean and ingredients taste fresh. Seating inside and outside. Parking lot out back. Glad the high school staple is still alive and thriving!

I haven't been here in a long time but was in the area and in the mood for Greek food. It's a local hangout and it's very casual. Staff are really nice. You order from the board menu posted inside the restaurant. They give you a buzzer. When your food is ready you go and get it at the counter. Service is fast. Food is delicious - both the gyros and the chicken skewers. I thought the rice was a little bland. They do have sauces at the counter that you can add to enhance your food. The gyro plate (I had it open faced vs wrapped) comes with rice, salad, tzakiki and some pita. You bus your own table after you're done. There's outside seating on the patio on nice days.

This was my first time at this location, however, I have frequented the Campbell location quite a few times. I knew by coming here I would get a huge portion for a not so huge price, and that they delivered. I ordered the 1/2 chicken plate and subbed the salad for rice which I would not recommend because it made my meal far more carb heavy than I was anticipating. Service is nothing extraordinary but the lady working the front was nice and helpful. This location seems to be clean considering you can see right into the kitchen. As for the food quality, I loved the chicken and the side soup, the rice could've used more seasoning, and the fries were good and hot but I also would've liked to see more of a garnish. I didn't know that the plate came with pita so that was a pleasant surprise, I just wish there was some sort of dip for the bread as well as the fry. Definitely plan to come back for diversity of food on the plate, the portion size, and the price (I think it was just under$20)!

Chicken plate 5/5 - this dish was really good! Looks very simple but flavors are good and chicken isn't too dry. I like the flavor of the rice. A bit salty but paired with the yogurt, it was good! Good amount of sides too. Not much indoor seating and since we had a larger party, we sat outside. Food came out pretty quickly.

Had a chance to try Yiassoo with a few coworkers yesterday and had a nice experience. This spot was on my radar after reading lots of good reviews on the yelp page. The service here is fast and ambiance is also cute. The ordering system here is at the front. You are then given a buzzer and then go to pick up your food. I ordered the Super Gyro plate which came with a wrap stuffed with Gyro meat which was EXTREMELY flavorful. The portions here are really great - and I would DEFINITELY recommend one to check this place out. I got this with fried and they also packed a side salad for me which came with cucumbers, tomato, feta cheese, olives etc. I really enjoyed every bite of this meal and would recommend to go back here and try!

Stopped by to Yiassoo for lunch with a Gyro Salad. This salad was packed either tons of protein and every bite was delicious. Add some of the yogurt or spicy sauce to give it a little more flavortown! The staff was very friendly on providing suggestions on what to get and their favorite thing to eat. A good amount of space while giving you the option of indoor or outdoor seating.

Nice, casual Greek spot with big portions and tasty options. My friend and I shared two entrees: - GYROS PLATE: Given that it comes with the choice of rice or fries, I didn't realize this would be a pita sandwich rather than just gyros meat, but the sandwich is very tasty with the sauces and toppings. They also offer a deluxe option with extra meat, but we thought the portion was already fairly generous, and as a plate made for a very satisfying and complete meal. We especially enjoyed the rice when paired with the complementary bottles of ranch sauce - CHICKEN SOUVLAKI SALAD: This was pretty good, but felt a bit dry and less flavorful in comparison to the gyros. Unless you're really watching your carbs, I would probably recommend the plates over the salads, as the rice is really good and they also come with a good amount of the same salad Overall, highly recommend the gyros, though I also want to come back to try the salmon!

This was my go-to spot when I worked in Cupertino. I discovered this place because I used to go to their sister restaurant, Mikonos Grill, in Milpitas. The menu is similar. They have a small parking lot shared with a Chinese restaurant next door. If you go during lunch time, parking might be hard to find. What I love about this place is you can choose two sides with your entree. Your options are fries, greek salad, soup, and rice. I always op for rice and soup. Rice always go well with meats and I love avgolemono soup. If you haven't avgolemono soup, it's rice and chicken in a lemony egg broth. It might not sound appetizing, but it is. For my entree, I always order the gyro plate or salmon. The gyro plate is filling and I always request for the gyro meat to be extra crispy. If you're a fan of a salmon, order this! It's never dry and full of flavor.

Uzumakiya had beef broth, supposedly oxtail broth. It's lighter in consistency than the ramen broth. Tasted more meaty without being heavy or fatty. The noodles were thicker but not chewy. The chashu (pork) slices that came with it was tender with just enough fat to give it the umami flavor. The Tonkotsu Ramen had the thinner noodles. The broth was creamier and richer than the beef broth but not bold or complex compared to other ramen broths I've had but still has a nice balance of flavor between the pork and dashi. Had the same chashu slices. Had more umami flavor than the Udon. Love the Hojicha Panna Cotta. Very smooth consistency. I felt like I'm eating something fancy but not heavy. Combination of light roasted tea and milk flavor. Just the right amount of sweetness. Enjoyed this the most. They had a $3 discount on their Udon. Food came out quickly. Staff were welcoming.

Located in a bit of a run down plaza off Homestead in Cupertino, there is ample parking but I was a bit skeptical pulling in. There is a kiosk in front and you can add your name to the waitlist. We were seated after a short 10 min wait. It was busy (on a Friday night) and the staff was moving efficiently to take all the waiting orders. We ordered the Fried Tofu to start. Wife got the Green Curry (mild) with chicken, mother-in-law ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken and I tried something new with the Kua Kai with Crispy Pork. Also added in a Singha which came with an ice cold glass. Food came out quickly and the tofu was crispy and the sauce was enjoyed by all. My dish was the star and we all loved the stir fried flat rice noodle and the crispy pork! The green curry spice level was good for us but kids passed. The Pad See Ew was pretty solid but similar at most places. Really enjoyed the Thai chilis in garlic and vinegar. Enjoyed this place so much, I came back a few days later for lunch with my colleague. This time got the Pad Woon Sen and he got the Pad Kee Mow both with Crispy Pork. Would say it wasn't as good at lunch since the Crispy Pork was a bit over and chewy. Still was enjoyable and has me wanting to come back. Spice levels seem pretty fair, I don't handle spicy much but enjoy a bit. Looks like you can go much much hotter and I think spice lovers would enjoy! Happy eating, until next time!

The waiter initially tried to show me the menu and point out the dish, but it was clearly different from what I had ordered. He shortly realized there had been a mistake, and thankfully the correct dish came out about 5 minutes later. Unfortunately, the pasta itself was disappointing. The noodles were undercooked, and the sauce was quite bland. I was expecting the four-fish dashi and bacon flavor to stand out, but I didn't really get much of either. The sesame seeds were also very overpowering and seemed to take over the dish. Overall, the sauce tasted more like a basic, thin cream sauce that didn't coat the noodles very well. The bacon and mushrooms also didn't add much flavor or stand out as much as I expected. My friend ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry. The katsu itself looked crispy and appetizing, but the curry came out lukewarm. My friend was okay with the temperature, but when I tried it, I was honestly surprised by how close to room temperature it was. I would have expected the curry to at least be served hot or noticeably warm. Overall, the presentation of the food was nice, but unfortunately the flavors and temperature of the dishes didn't meet our expectations. Between the initial order mix-up, undercooked pasta, bland sauce, and lukewarm curry, it just wasn't a particularly memorable meal. There are definitely some things that could be improved.

We were looking to catch up in person on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. All tables were full and there were a couple of other parties waiting inside when we walked in, but the wait for a table was not bad at all. It is on the noisier side since the clientele is primarily Asian, and service tends to be short since that's what would be considered authentic. I got the beef noodle soup with the wide noodles since it was a chilly day and I wanted something warm. In the past I've gotten the tomato and eggs sauce noodles, which was very tasty and not a bad option for a hot day as the noodles themselves come out cold. Make sure to bring some floss if you get the beef noodle soup, some of the meat gets stuck in my teeth every time. Service does tend to be short so don't expect anyone to wait around for you to order or extra pleasantries. But this isn't surprising given the type of restaurant so it didn't detract from the meal. The check comes to you when you're about done so there is no need to flag anyone down after finishing. I would definitely revisit if I have cash on hand and am in the area. I would recommend this spot to anyone interested in authentic Chinese noodles, hot or cold.

The place wasn't busy at all when we got there, which meant no crowding at the buffet style section. I loved how smooth it was to grab all my favorite toppings without having to wait in line. Only minor letdown? There were only a few slices of beef left, so I opted for lamb instead but it still hit the spot. My bowl ended up being about $26, which honestly felt like a steal considering it was nearly 2 lbs of food. Definitely way more affordable than some other spots I've been to. I went with the mild beef bone broth but my Bestie got the sour spicy beef bone broth and wow, game changer. I kept sneaking sips from his bowl! Next time, that's definitely what I'm getting. Super flavorful and it lingered in the best way. All in all, I'm a fan. With how close it is to home, I can already tell this is going to be my new go to malatang fix. Highly recommend giving it a try if you're in the area and to get their sour beef bone broth!

I'm happy there's so many malatang places opening up in the South Bay. Malatang is one of my…read morecomfort meals and I love how accessible it is now. LHL is located in a giant strip mall near Crunch Fitness so warning that parking might be hectic during peak hours. The inside of the restaurant is super clean and sanitary, with a sanitation(?) cupboard for the bowls and tongs. All the ingredients were super fresh and the employees were constantly refilling any veggies or meats that were low. Their sauce bar is clean and well-stocked, however I did feel that their sesame sauce was watered down. I got the spicy bone broth in hot and I thought it had enough of a kick, but I could've gone spicier! My friend and I also felt that their broth didn't have enough of the richness/depth that we enjoy. I'll give them another visit in a few weeks to see if they work out the few kinks. They're offering 15% off your entire bill until mid May in celebration of their grand opening!
