This place is phenomenal. My favorite dish is the Green Curry (hot) which comes with a bowl of white rice. The sauce is on the thinner side, more akin to soup, and I love eating it over the rice. It is complemented well by bell peppers and zucchini. Usually I get chicken for the protein but could even do without- the sauce is that good. Loved both location as both get pretty busy on weekend for dinner. I loved Thai food as it is my number one favorites foods in the world. I like it spicy, sour, sweet and salty every way. I believe this had more deep flavors than the one in Milpitas but the foods come out a little slowly than the other one. I usually order the papayas salad which always fresh and flavorful. The pad Thai is a little sweet so I always asked for lemon juice on the side to add to it. I like my foods to be spicy and extra spicy so this always hit the spot. The Thai noodle was very flavorful with a lot of meat topping to it. As later it gets around 6PM, it gets pretty busy as people wait outside for their name to be called. Five stars for me means 1) I would recommend this place to others, and 2) I am still thinking about the food and am actively planning my return. Siam Station comfortably fits into this category. Easily some of the best Thai food out there. Service was quick and attentive, and our server knew the menu well to quickly fire off his recommendations. Food came out hot and fast, all five dishes within a couple minutes of each other. Portions are great, especially the curries. At Thai places, I'm used to seeing small bowls of curry. This is an upgrade. Even the prices are reasonable. Had a peanut allergy in our group (maybe Thai wasn't the best choice), and they were so accomodating. Safe to say that no one died. All the dishes were delicious, but some stand outs were the Panang Curry and the Basil Fried Rice. The Panang Curry had a subtle, yet distinct lemongrass flavor, which was creamy, savory, sweet, and hearty. Perfect for a cold day. The Fried Rice is perfect with fried pork as the protein. Imagine chicharrones with fried rice, sounds good right? As a tip, only get the fried pork with non-liquid/saucy dishes so that it doesn't get soggy. Spice levels were manageable. We got dishes ranging from mild to medium, and I appreciate that there's an obvious difference. Next time, we may adventure up to spicy. As a small critique, I wouldn't mind if there were more spice levels for the perfect tasting experience. I came to Siam station with some friends on a sunday at noon. It was crowded inside and outside but we only had to wait around 20 mins. They have a Yelp waitlist that you can sign into when you arrive. Restaurant is busy and loud inside, food is served very fast. We shared 4 dishes together and loved them all. We got the papaya salad, panang curry with chicken, pad kee mow with tofu, and orange chicken. Honestly hard to pick a favorite but I think the pad kee wow won. I've been here twice now and I got the tom yum soup (+rice) and Kua Kai. Unfortunately, these were not my favorite. My friends had better luck sticking to the classics (pad see ew, pad kee mow). The tom yum soup had too much lime flavor and they're stingy with the prawns. There was a line both times I've been and it's quite crowded. The wait isn't too long ~15 minutes. MY NEW FAVORITE THAI SPOT!!! We decided to go out for a family dinner with the mother-in-law and my wife had said I would like this place. Boy was she right! Located in a bit of a run down plaza off Homestead in Cupertino, there is ample parking but I was a bit skeptical pulling in. There is a kiosk in front and you can add your name to the waitlist. We were seated after a short 10 min wait. It was busy (on a Friday night) and the staff was moving efficiently to take all the waiting orders. We ordered the Fried Tofu to start. Wife got the Green Curry (mild) with chicken, mother-in-law ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken and I tried something new with the Kua Kai with Crispy Pork. Also added in a Singha which came with an ice cold glass. Food came out quickly and the tofu was crispy and the sauce was enjoyed by all. My dish was the star and we all loved the stir fried flat rice noodle and the crispy pork! The green curry spice level was good for us but kids passed. The Pad See Ew was pretty solid but similar at most places. Really enjoyed the Thai chilis in garlic and vinegar. Enjoyed this place so much, I came back a few days later for lunch with my colleague. What a well run establishment!! Came here with my cousins for a birthday meal and it was quite impressive. Not only is the food delicious but the place is actually smaller than you think but they run it like a well oiled machine. I've been to this location in Cupertino many times and really love the food. It's always consistent, tasty, and made well. The reason I'm -2 stars off the review is from their ordering online on their website and picking up (via Toast which is cheaper than Doordash). This past Sunday, I ordered for pickup and ordered 4 dishes, including the crab fried rice. Right after driving home with my order, I realized I received 3 correct dishes and one incorrect dish. I was missing the crab fried rice. Instead, I got a mango sticky rice, which we didn't order. I notified the restaurant multiple ways. 1. I called the number listed on their Yelp (628) 345-3469, which rings once before being picked up by an voice machine and connecting you to an AI agent who helps answer your questions. 2. I told the AI that my order I just picked up was wrong, and they told me to text a photo of my order and the receipt to the phone number listed on their website: (408) 495-9959, which I did that night. 3. I didn't get a response, and I also tried calling that line a couple times, and no one picked up. 4. I then tried filling in the form on the Contact tab of their website, and also did not get a response. In summary, I really like this restaurant and would go again in person, but would caution against anyone who orders multiple dishes during pickup. Finally tried out Siam Station! I always see that their Cupertino restaurant has a long line of folks waiting outside whenever I get boba next door at Shang Yu Lin. We finally decided to try it out yesterday with my group of 4. There was a bit of a wait when we came in around 8, but we didn't wait too long to be seated. There were plenty of tables inside and it didn't feel overly crowded despite all the tables being filled. Service was attentive and quick. We ordered: papaya salad, pad see ew with beef, yellow curry with chicken, and crab fried rice. Papaya Salad - Meh. 4/10. Papaya slices felt so long and difficult to eat, especially since they don't provide chopsticks. The serving size also felt so small for the price they charged. Flavor was just ok, I have had better for the price and serving size. Wouldn't get again unfortunately. Pad See Ew with Beef - 7/10. arguably probably the best dish out of the 4 we got that night. Albeit I wish the beef were more slices than cubes, flavor was still good and tasty! Brocolli slices were cooked perfectly and had a solid crunch to it. Crab Fried Rice - 6.5/10 - just ok. I normally get pad see ew at Thai places but I decided to branch out and get the khao soi noodle soup to try something different and on a recommendation. The broth was incredible. I'm hesitant with coconut based broths sometimes as it can be too rich (or taste like the stabilizing gums) but this broth was tempered with spices and the perfect balance. Unfortunately the tofu tasted weird - like super sour, as if it had spoiled or something. The crunch noodles on top were wheat based instead of rice based to get the crunch but the flavor was so noticeably "wheat-y" that it didn't mesh well with the other dish flavors. The Thai tea was also diluted and not as strong as usual. But my friends pad kee mao tasted delicious so maybe just stick with the classics. Absolute favorite Thai spot in Cupertino with super reasonable prices, my two favorite things: good food, cheap prices. The best thing about this place is surprisingly their pork belly! You can add your choice of protein to almost most of their entrees, and the pork belly has always stood out to me! AN OFF DAY 4.0 It seems like finding excellent Thai food is becoming more difficult these days. This place is probably one of the better options in the area. We enjoy coming here, but our most recent visit left us a bit underwhelmed. We ordered Thai Iced Teas (which were unfortunately served in clear plastic to-go cups), Mama's Egg Rolls, Crab Fried Rice, and Panang Curry with Beef. The standout dish was the Crab Fried Rice. We couldn't see any noticeable chunks of crab, but it was wonderfully seasoned. Where they fell short was in the service and ambiance. Within a minute of being seated, a server stopped by to take our order. When we asked for a little more time, no one returned, and we eventually had to flag someone down. During our meal, no one came by to check on us or ask how everything was. Perhaps it was because there didn't seem to be an assigned server for our table: one person took our order, another delivered the food, and someone else brought the bill. After finishing our meal, we sat for quite a while waiting. Fortunately, we weren't in a hurry. We eventually had to wave someone over for boxes and our check. As for the ambiance, the decor wasn't the issue. It was the loud music coming from the kitchen competing with the music playing in the dining room. The combination was distracting and not particularly pleasant. Unless they are intentionally going for a "street food" vibe, it's not something customers should have to experience. Every time I walk by Siam Station, I always see a long wait outside on the weekends. Now I know what the hype is about. Beef Salad: 5/5 The beef cubes are juicy and rich. The salad itself is quite refreshing. If you like lime zest, you will love this salad. Pad Woon Sen: 4/5 The softness of the glass noodles and crunchy vegetables gave the dish great texture. For protein choice, I would recommend not going with the crunchy pork if you don't like chewing on harder fried chunks. The flavor is good but a little hard to bite through. Bustling even on a weekday night! We came here on a Thursday around 6:45pm. The inside was completely full, so there was around a 15-20 minute wait. Once inside though, service is very quick. We got our food virtually right after we ordered, which was nice. I ordered the panang curry, which was tangy yet creamy from the coconut milk. The portion was pretty massive especially for the price, so it was definitely very filling.
