We checked in on the 19th after accidentally booking the following date online by mistake and the gentleman at the desk helped us immediately to correct our error. He was extremely friendly and shared with us some great information on the area. We were passing through and stopped there completely randomly but were extremely happy with that choice. All the attractions he suggested were great and nothing we had planned to see. The room was very nice and well worth what we paid. It was quiet and clean. Clean and cozy little joint. Mostly quiet, professional staff. The main drawback is the shower water stands immediately, not from the drain, but do to install. The hairdryer didn't work either. I'd stay here again though. read more

THEY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST SOMEONE WITH DISABILITIES AND BROKE THE LAW! We must travel with a service dog and we were told to find another hotel (after we already had reservations here) because we travel with a service dogs, the owners refuse to allow any dog into the room we book, instead for our family of 4 we were offered a 2 twin bed room or to book elsewhere. How are we all supposed to fit on 2 twin beds? This is fully against the Americans With Disabilities Act and makes it against the law! Even after I explained the law they did not care! read more

She couldn't find my reservation, ten minutes later after respelling my last name a few times she found it. Got into room, Could not get the TV to work, so I thought I would call the front desk, oh my no phone in room. Called front desk from cell phone to let them know about the TV and that there was no phone. Found TV to be unplugged, but desk clerk told me the phone was on the right side bed table, I told her there was no phone her reply was "oh" Once TV was plugged in the remote does not work. My employer booked hotel rooms for us who live far from work. I trudged in the snow for over 30 minutes and couldn't find the place. I got back in my truck (RWD) and braved the roads. Thank God for smart phones! I finally found it!! Soaked from the knees down, I walked into the lobby. Daniel was working the desk. He welcomed me and seemed to know that I was coming from work. He saw my dog and was so sweet to her. He checked me in, got my key, and carried my bags (!) to the room. Daniel had left the heat on in the room for me. He then told me a shovel and cleared the snow in the lawn for my dog to go potty. It gets better! I was trudging through the snow soon after dropping my bags off in the room. Daniel began shoveling the snow to clear a path for me. I felt like the queen. He asked where I was going. I told him I was walking to the pizza chain down the street (they weren't delivering due to the blizzard). Daniel offered to drive me!! I could have married the guy! I teared up and said thank you. He drove me to the pizza place and waited while they made my order. Stay at the Olympic View Inn. They treat you right. read more

This place deserves some real credit. Stayed August 3-5 2018. Gentleman at check in was EXTREMELY pleasant, we checked in later in the evening. CLEAN rooms, non-smoking, comfortable beds and pillows (I am picky about this),I personally thought the rooms were very quiet even though our room faced Washington St, we kept the fan running for background noise, had air conditioning which works very well, needed ice both days, ice machine always worked and full, hot water with nice pressure in the shower, housekeeping was perfect (I meant to leave a tip, so embarrassing but I truly forgot) they leave an envelope for a tip if you wish. I would suggest asking for another blanket because they are on the thinner side. There is a washing machine and dryer on site, microwave and fridge in all rooms. No breakfast which is fine because the oak table cafe down they way was beyond excellent. This place is perfectly located for the event we had going on that weekend. If for any reason we had to come back here for this event I would get a block of rooms for our crew. Had a question on checkout on the 5th and the lady at the front desk was extremely pleasant as well. My only complaint has nothing to do with the hotel, SMOKERS need to walk away from the front door of your room to smoke, I don't want to open my door first thing in the morning to smell your smoke, at least they went outside instead of the room but I don't want to smell that first thing in the morning and neither does my child, maybe the hotel could find a designated smoking spot and remind smokers they need to properly dispose of their butts, bring your own can with water, stop throwing that crap on the ground, it's your mess. I stayed in this motel over the weekend to attend a festival in Port Angeles, WA. The motel seemed fine enough until I noticed that the sheet on the bed had blood stains. It looked as though, possibly the sheet had been washed because the stains were dry. In my opinion there is no excuse for putting this sheet back on a bed that is about to be used again. There was no sign of bed bugs, but I wouldn't put it past this motel. They have lost my future business. read more

The Red Ranch Inn apparently closed (2011-2012 ???). In its place is the Summit View Inn, which is well worth a look. Our room was clean, modern, spacious & reasonable; ($98 + taxes thru hotels.com). Had fridge, mwave, lg flat-screen TV, good wi-fi. Second vanity-sink in shower/toilet room. Concur with most of the other Summit View review comments; probably would give 2-1/2 to 3 stars. read more

Nice retro motel with very nice price. Friendly and helpful staff. Reminds me that advantages of motels is parking right outside your door. No need to schlep bags through a lobby and then up an elevator. Location is in the land of lavender fields, and we were glad we stayed there while passing through. Arrived at 11:30 pm after arranging with the secretary late check-in - got our room key from the drop box, pulled our three sleeping children out of the car.....and the key didn't open the door to our room - called and called and texted the after hours number and no response - finally gave up and were lucky and thankful a different inn down the road had vacancy and were awake to give us our room key read more

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was pretty big and was clean. I did find a few long black hairs around the room which weren't from me. I was happy to see they had wifi. We stayed here while visiting family over Thanksgiving, and it was perfect. The room was simple but impeccably clean, with pleasing decor, and the Wolfgang Puck coffee to make in the room was tasty. Very Rude. I booked this place on a recommendation from the Cedars golf desk, they said it was recently renovated and reasonably priced. I called to ask a few questions and ended up booking the room by phone. The woman who took my reservation was friendly and helpful. I gave her my credit card and was very clear that I wanted that card charged for the room, I explained the room was part of a birthday gift and I didn't want him to pay for the room. - So far so good. At check-in I get a text from the birthday boy telling me to check my card and be sure that I wasn't charged as he'd just paid for the room. - Wait, what? OK, on the plus side there was no charge on my card to hassle with and the guys still have a place to sleep. The minus side and reason for this review, when I called to find out why the clerk was rude and defensive. Turns out the first clerk failed to save my card number but instead of listening to my concerns today's clerk talked over me explaining they don't do "pre-paid" bookings and blamed me for not understanding that. Then instead of finding a suitable solution like "Give me the card you'd like to have charged and I'll remove his" she offered to cancel the reservation. That's when I got really irritated, although the blame thing had already set me on edge, what a thoughtless, bone-headed suggestion! Instead of finding a way to correct your mistake and charge my card, your guest should leave; that's your only option?!? Anyway, the call went down hill from there and now I'm writing this review. I don't think this one incident should determine whether or not you stay here. I'm just writing this because I'm ticked. I hope the clerk is just having an off day and realizes there's a better way to handle this kind of thing in the future and I hope the guys have a great weekend and find tonight's accommodations clean and comfortable. read more

We made a last minute decision to stay the night here and we definitely didn't regret it. We booked via hotels.com and immediately they called us to tell us there were no rooms with a king bed left. They upgraded us to one of their new renovated rooms for free. Our room was incredibly clean and the bathroom was really nice. We booked two nights on Hotels.com to spend July 3rd and 4th. We paid a premium because of the holiday. There were zero amenities offered, hard beds, and terrible television video quality. We chose this hotel because it was not the most expensive and dogs are welcome. Being able to take my dog was super important to me, more so then continental breakfast or a pool. After paying for the first night while awkwardly balancing my little dog, the first night was without incident. The morning of July 4th we got ready and took off to enjoy the holiday. When we returned around midnight our keys didn't work. We called the after hours line and waited about twenty minutes, we then overheard a lady discussing us through her open window with what must have been the manager. After she said a few negative remarks like "They left their stuff in the room" and "They never checked out" etc.. She came out to speak with us. She stated "We only booked one night, and left our stuff in the room." I explained "We had reserved two nights, but our keys no longer work." She said "The reservation was for only one night." She was not friendly and she seemed irritated while treating me like a criminal. I have never been treated so poorly by someone wanting my business. The room was $142 a night so really quite expensive for what was offered. They couldn't even make up for this with decent customer service. She then stated "The management was also not happy about my dog." I told her "Hotels.com said the hotel was dog friendly." She said "Yes it is, but only certain rooms were designated for dogs." I told her "I chose her hotel because of its dog policy." She was short and said management agreed to let me back in my room and that I needed to speak with the manager in the morning for payment arrangements. In the morning I went down to speak with the manager and check out. I explained "We had gotten locked out of our room the night before." The man behind the desk, who had also checked me into my room, stated "I only reserved one night." I said "That is incorrect", and had the confirmation pulled up on my cell phone. He then shuffled around and said "He did not need to see it." He said "I probably used Expedia and that was how it was wrong." I said "No, I used Hotels.com." I then said "Why was there a problem with my dog?" He said "Dogs are only allowed in certain rooms." I responded "I was holding my dog when you checked me in, so why didn't you put me in a dog friendly room?" He said "It doesn't matter." I said "Well, I'm checking out" and he said "You aren't staying another night?" Perplexing because they couldn't get the nights I did reserve correct. Does anyone stay on a Monday skip Tuesday and want Wednesday? I said "No, just the nights I reserved." He said "He would add it to my card.", I am now forced to make sure they don't mess up billing as badly as everything else. I am a nice person, I understand when mistakes happen but he never apologized or even tried to admit fault. I would rather sleep in my car then give this business anymore of my money. read more

There's a great deal to like about this place. Good bed, nice linens, attractive furnishings, large flat screen tv (though not receiving HD signal), free reasonably speedy wifi, upgraded bathroom, in-room fridge and microwave. But one huge strike for the thin walls. I can not only hear but understand every word of the conversation going on in the next room at normal, not shouted, volume. And another few points off for the skimpy towels, and for forcing a queen-size fitted sheet onto a king-size mattress (I give it less than an hour before the first corner pops loose). the rooms are nice, very clean and they did give me a room away from people because I have a very fussy baby, But the staff is rude. Miranda one of the workers there was the only one nice. Although I had Miscommunications with her she was super sweet. The older lady left a note on my door that I didn't see until around 2am Sunday morning asking me to come pay for my room because 1 night had not been paid for. The day before that I had gone into the office to pay for an extra night, I paid and I asked if I was all paid up and she informed me that I was. That next morning she was banging on the door waking up my 8 month old child and was extremely rude and hateful. She told me I was staying there illegally because it is illegal to not pay for your room and that I either had to get out right then or come pay. By that point I was confused because i had asked the day before when I paid if I was all paid out and she had informed me I was. For a manager to treat a costumer like that when I had spent over 400 dollars to stay there I was extremely upset. I didn't not like the way she talked to me and it was not my fault her staff did not make things more clear. It would have been a different story if she was nice and explained things to me, but for her to have said those things assuming I just wasn't going to pay is extremely unprofessional, they also didn't aware me that prices change throughout the week so what I thought was 74 dollars a night became almost 90 dollars a night as of Friday until Sunday. The showers are also only made for people 5 feet or shorter, the tvs only get like 5 channels and the beds were pretty hard. So for 74-90 dollars a night you would think there would be no issues. Also around 9pm on Friday I tried to get into my rooms and the key wouldn't work, I called several times until finally someone answered and gave me a new key, but with it being 30 degrees outside and having a 8 month old tired baby I was really mad. My wife and I spent the weekend here. Ice machine still broken. Nice location. The room was clean and very nicely remodeled. So recently that it smelled very strongly of paint and drywall. I awoke after our first night with trouble breathing and a very sore back. Beds were hard as bricks. I ended up getting severe pneumonia from my stay there. The windows don't lock, and didn't feel secure. The shower is made for people 5 ft or shorter. The tv got only 4 channels, all the same channel, even after multiple resets, and cable setups.
