He is easily one of the best salesmen I have ever worked with, and I would absolutely do business with him again. Unfortunately, my experience with the finance department was the complete opposite. This was my second trip to the dealership, and I drove all the way back from Bakersfield because I had been promised a deal with a $1,500 down payment, if I bring a co-signer, by the finance manager during my first visit. That amount had already been discussed and penciled in. When I returned, with my family to co-sign, I was suddenly told I needed to put $4,000 down. They also tried to pressure me into an electric car, which I specifically said I did not want. I spent nearly an hour arguing and explaining that I had specifically returned because of the deal I had already been promised to a car I already loved. Once I mentioned the name of the finance manager I had worked with during my first visit, the original numbers suddenly became available again. That was extremely frustrating and made the entire situation feel completely unnecessary. The worst part was the wait just to get into finance and sign the paperwork. I have purchased vehicles before, and never did I have to wait 4 HOURS just to sign the papers. We arrived around 4 p.m. and did not leave until nearly 11 p.m. We were the last customers in the building. My family was exhausted, and my child was hungry after spending hours at the dealership. Luis was the one bright spot in an otherwise incredibly frustrating experience. He was patient, helpful, honest, and made me feel like I was being taken care of. I would gladly continue doing business with Luis wherever he goes in the future.
