OMG! Why would anyone go to a chain restaurant if places like this exist?? Had an amazing burger here & great service!

Turn back the clock! This place will make you feel like you 50's or before. Simple menu and delicious food. We stopped in for breakfast and found the service to be quick. Definitely will be back to try some of their lunch sandwiches.

Our favorite place for a coffee and a root beer float... sitting at the counter, of course.

I've loved coming to Olympia since I was a kid... and now whenever we visit Goshen, it's my daughter's favorite place to stop. She gets a root beer float, I get a coffee, and then we both get chocolates to go. Today we each opted for a bowl of hot chili, as well, to warm us up on this cold and rainy day. Authentic old school soda shop with friendly and helpful staff... a place you won't forget. Thanks, Olympia! We will always stop here when we are in town and recommend others do the same.

Interesting old school items, food is familiarly good as if Granny had a hand in it and prepared easily by some energetic youthful staff. They have a NUT OLIVE, this is as plain as the name and was if I showed up to Granny's and she placed this and some potato salad with eggs and celery in it and said enjoy. Enjoy I did, the overly mayonnaise laden potato salad worked out perfect to mix in some of that NUT OLIVE. Got a sliver of a lettuce wedge and two tomatoes for about 8.00 bucks. Good deals, quick service, helpful and cheery service as well. They have CANDIES and this was great to go, this place is a must visit in downtown Goshen. Sit at the counter stool to get a full feel of times gone by and enjoy.

Smoked Turkey on Raisin Toast w/ Swiss Cheese - 1/2 order French fries... delicious!

Awesome looking place. Walked in thought it was a good place to eat. They didn't take Amex and that's all I had on me.

Mike's also mentioned a "small job fee" - small job meaning our 190 feet of privacy fencing. In the end it was a good thing they dawdled and couldn't start for another month, because it gave Double R a chance to come quote the fence; which included more and cost less! They were recommended by a friend who knew the owner, Marion, and that he had taken over his father's Amish origin family business. This is a company that doesn't know how to do a bad job - and they take care of everything along the way. I didn't have time to clear a fence line, which Mike's required, but Marion at Double R took care of it for us. In the end, we had a fence that was flush and didn't look pieced together like those built using panels. We are beyond happy with the new fence! If you just want a fence, call a fencing company and they'll put up panels for you. If you want quality, hand set fencing that looks great, call Marion at Double R.
