I stopped there for dinner and was seated right away. The service was quick and friendly. I ordered the Hot Turkey Sandwich along with a cup of cream of broccoli soup. The soup came quick and was good, but not great, it needed salt and pepper. The Turkey followed and it had a deep brown gravy which would have been fine with me, but it was so salty. I had to scrap it off the Turkey to eat it. It's a shame because the Turkey was WONDERFUL. Very juicy and tender. I'm not sure if I would be back, it really didn't impress me that much. read more

Stopped here while passing through. The building is adorable and the atmosphere is warm. Our server was great. She was prompt with drinks, didn't forget anything, and offered conversation. Topped for lunch on our way to Shipshewana. Great menu with lots of variety. I had the hot pork open face with mashed potatoes, corn and chicken noodle soup. Sis had the same with beef. Both were the senior portion. The potatoes were excellent and definitely homemade. Corn was good too. The meats were excellent as well. Chicken soup was homemade and the noodles were delicious. Pleasantly surprised! Large menu, excellent service. Both husband and I had the soup of the day, ham and bean and it was delish and piping hot. We were having a Big Foot leveling Jack system installed at Quadra Manufacturing Inc on our rv and walked over to this restaurant. It was recommended by the staff at Quadra so we gave it a try. I got the open face turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy, my husband got a soup/sandwich combo - chicken noodle soup and turkey sandwich. Great breakfast place with very friendly staff. My favorite is their blueberry pancakes which are large and fluffy and full of fresh blueberries. We are now "regulars" and our favorite waitress has our drink orders memorized. I enjoy their patty melts for lunch several times. Plus they are not stingy with the pickles. read more

I love Ranch but cannot seem to find the kind I like. Country Table's Ranch is thick, creamy and absolutely delicious! If I had to complain, my gravy for my mashed potatoes was cool when I got my food, but that didn't negate the flavor of the gravy! Yummy! Enough about the food, though. I give this place only three stars. Had to use packaged creamers which I hate. The potatoes with my omelet was just smashed potatoes browned a bit with no seasoning- dry and flavorless. I ordered a Greek omelet which was delivered slightly warm and the Feta cheese inside was cubes and not even melted. I got a fish sandwich for lunch here today and it was ok. The portion was quite large and tasted good but it was just a bun and fish. No lettuce no tomato just some tarter sauce. This is a quick "re-review" of Country Table as I haven't been there in a while and stopped in again recently. As always, it's an extraordinarily clean restaurant, coffee is hot and fresh and food is great. My only surprise was how very busy this little roadside diner was. At any one time there were virtually no empty tables to be had-that speaks volumes for this business. Even though it was busy we had a table within minutes. As usual the owner was there with a big smile, helping seat people, bus tables and cleaning up as people left. The place has seen a recent "upgrade" inside-clean, bright and cheerful. I'll make a point to stop in again when in the area. read more
