The buildings were once barns and homestead housing of an old farm. They stand in a semi-circle which frames a makeshift courtyard hold art that relates to its original purpose. This configuration makes a natural connection between the shops, a traffic flow guiding visitors in the front of one shop and out the side where the next awaits. Out front was a horse and buggy. It was a large horse. I don't know whether this was part of the places decoration or an Amish visitor or employee. For the shopper that likes old-timey styles this place will be loved. Of most impressive are expensive but craftily handmade quilts sold in the last building. I am not into Amish country fashion, but the tour of these shops reveal its quality to me anyways. There are a lot of options, and she is willing to special order things if it's not something she regularly carries. Her prices are a little higher, but I don't mind because I know I am supporting local business. Even though the number of employees greatly outnumbered the customers, nobody seemed very interested in helping me locate my item. First, they told me that they were in the building so I went and searched through the buildings didn't find them. I went back to check in and was told: they're here somewhere, you just have to look around. Keep in mind this is a huge place. I walked around the outdoor garden center multiple times looking at every tag of every fern and not finding what they said they had in stock. I had to seek out help from multiple workers. Most gave vague answers and were disinterested. There was one attentive employee, she said it was her first day so even though she was willing to help, she didn't know about the inventory and where items were. So frustrating! I'm here. I'm ready to purchase, but nobody can point me to the item that they said they had in stock that I would like to purchase. I probably won't come back. What a time dump. I still don't even know if they actually have my item in stock. The staff seems very confused about their inventory and not super eager to help customers.

The Find has a nice selection of baby and children's clothes. There are buckets of Jellycat stuff toys and lots of books and toys. The Find doesn't just cater to children; this place has something for everyone. There is usually a nice candles, jewelry, women's clothes, and mugs. I also like their selection of notebooks and pens. They have also had some really cute and functional face masks here during the height of the pandemic. I purchased a couple COIN 1804 masks from them and those turned out to be my favorite ones. The Find also stocks some Fort Wayne themed items like magnets that say "Fort Wayne: It's not that bad," and postcards with drawings of downtown. Regardless of the reason I visit The Find, I usually also end up purchasing greeting cards here too. They have some cute ones for every occasion.
