This place offers some great food for low prices. Their gyro is huge. It's better than Nick the Greeks used to be, and Nick the Greek made a real good gyro. My buddy got a calzone here, and it was the largest I've ever seen. The atmosphere is dive-like, but that keeps the tools away. This little place used to have such large portions for the price you pay. You really felt like you were being treated well, but here within the last year they have reduced the portion size and raised prices. Getting a little for more money. They have changed the sauces and the platter just doesn't taste the same. The owner is always rude and sometimes going into the store is nerve wracking. The delivery drivers are friendly and nice. Had pizza delivered from here 2 days ago and now I can write my review on it! Had two large pies (one sausage and pepperoni and the other cheese) they smelled great through the box, though I was starving at the time, I can still say that my "vision" was not jaded. Definitely a great reminder of NY style pizza (good "foldability") copious amounts of cheese and toppings, may just have this for dinner again tonight! Gave it 4 stars because they didn't bring us cheese and pepper... That could have been my husband's fault (by not asking) since he ordered but hey they should have brought it just in case! This place is AMAZING. We got a pepperoni pizza, a garden salad and the Chicken Soulvaki platter. Pizza is absolutely , the pita bread was fresh, dressings were perfect, chicken was juicy, and the veggies in the salads were extremely fresh and crisp. Yummy Gyro special. I've been sorely missing Nick the Greek but someone told me to try Olympia Cafe and they were correct. The gyro was huge! Great ratio of taziki to meat and veggies. The pita bread was light and fluffy. The fries are crinkle fries with a sprinkling of seasoned salt. They were softer fries, which I like. My only complaint were the drink options weren't my favorite, but not being a soda drinker, most places don't have the best options. Overall, I would recommend Olympia Cafe for the gyro and fries. This is one of those diners drive ins and dives or man vs food spots that deserve the same type of attention and most people don't even know it exists but has AWESOME food. I go there at least twice a week and I'm never disappointed. The food is exactly what you order every time with great taste, awesome portions and really good prices. Wow. We've been buying from Olympia several times a month since they opened a few years ago and only once was there a problem, which the owner, the MALE owner graciously fixed. Tonight I got a pizza delivered that was way below their standards so I called and asked to speak to him. The woman that answered ( his wife, I believe) said he wasn't there. We've had problems with her attitude before, both on the phone and in person, so I said "I'll call back on Monday, thank you" and I hung up. Two seconds later she calls me back and yells "if you don't like my food don't call here no more" etc., etc.! How rude! That's not the way to treat customers, old or new. Used to own a business next door to them and you could smell the food cooking through the walls... It was the best of times and the worst of times... That lamb would pack on the weight and didn't know it at the time that I was ordering the gyros and the Olympia Salad that I wasn't doing myself any good... They stole from me. While it was only a dollar, the owner added a tip on my receipt for a dollar. I called the order in and picked it up. If I sat down and ate there with a waitress, then I always give a tip. I always eat there once a week. They lost at least $10 a week over a dollar. Be very careful when you are there. make sure they don't steal from you. People are idiots for giving it more then one star. If you want to know how this place is like, just watch kitchen nightmare before the renovation. There was no hand soap????
