Updating my original review years later because we ended up needing Mick again today for another…read moreplumbing issue at one of our family properties. We had a sewer backup issue affecting the back unit/ADU while also dealing with separate toilet issues in the front house. Mick responded quickly, diagnosed both problems efficiently, and got everything resolved the same day. The front house issue turned out to be worn toilet flappers from normal wear and tear. The back unit issue was a main line grease buildup/clog that required drain clearing and camera inspection work. Mick also took the time to explain the likely long-term slope/drainage concern with the ADU connection in a very straightforward and practical way. One thing I still appreciate after all these years is that Mick communicates like an operator, not a salesman. He explains what is urgent, what is manageable, and what may become a future capital repair issue without trying to create panic or pressure. Fast response, direct communication, practical diagnostics, and strong long-term knowledge of older LA plumbing systems and rental properties. Still highly recommend Mick and Right Price Rooter & Plumbing.

He performed a gas pressure test, identified multiple leaks, and clearly explained the situation along with upfront pricing. Since it was a larger job, I let them know I'd be getting a few other estimates. After comparing, their price was not only very competitive but the best overall--especially considering the warranty--so it was an easy decision. The job took two days and was completed perfectly. Drywall was opened, patched, and painted to match. They installed an earthquake shut-off valve, pulled permits, and handled inspections without any issues. What really stood out was the honesty, communication, and professionalism--from the initial phone call to the final walkthrough. Everything was clearly explained, and the team was responsive the entire time. Mick is clearly passionate about his company and it shows in the quality of work and customer care. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services. Right Price Rooter you guys rock!

I can't say enough about these guys…read more As far as I know, they don't do appliance work, so their few negative Yelp reviews must be mistaken. My prior plumber was charging me $450 for a hydrojet. These guys charged $250. Our clay mainline was cracked, so we needed to call a rooter periodically to clear the roots that would grow into it. After their work, our mainline was free of roots for about nine months, so they clearly did a thorough job. During this latest visit, however, Alex showed me how the mainline was deteriorating, so after performing another hydrojet, we decided he'd come back to re-pipe it. All Clear does work for the city, so they're equipped with industrial-grade tools and equipment. They were able to dig two holes in the ground and use a machine to run a new pipe through the old one. They arrived early, finished in a few hours! Also, they charged me a small fraction of what another plumber quoted! Without the equipment, it's a job that would have taken days and torn up my yard. I could go on and on... they're that good!

I've heard from family and friends that there is often a lot of headache that comes with home ownership, but I never imagined having a mainline plumbing stoppage a week or so into it! It's the worst! At first I called my home warranty to see if they could help. They sent a guy who just told me right off the bat how horrible my situation was and that it was going to cost an arm and a leg to fix it! He did not even talk about my options. Anytime you have a major issue, like plumbing, and it's going to cost a fair amount, you should be given options, feel like you have a choice and that you can trust the professional to help you to fix it properly. That's where Pioneer Plumbing comes in! I have three small children 4 and under and we were staying at a hotel so there was a sense of urgency to get the house in working order and get back into it. Living a hotel with three under 4 years old is tough to say the least. I did not feel comfortable with the first plumber who had come and was afraid that I was going to feel that way no matter what plumber it was. I did my own research and found Pioneer, I called them that night. They sent a technician out the very next day, Ralph. Ralph was so great!!! From our first meeting I felt very comfortable with him and I knew that I could trust him to help us with our situation. He was wonderful at explaining things very clearly and answering all my many questions. I had my father-in-law with me to help make sure I was asking all the right questions and Ralph was very patient with us both. Ralph checked everything out and then gave us OPTIONS! It was so great to feel like I had a choice in how I would repair my home's plumbing. He and his team did a great job fixing our pipes and they were in bad shape! Ralph gave me his number and took my calls even at night and on the weekend. He was so helpful and reassuring! I would highly recommend Pioneer plumbing to anyone having plumbing issues! I will be calling them first for any future plumbing issues should they arise. I will also ask for Ralph, he was amazing!!!

Our three year old son flushed a diaper down the upstairs toilet. Huge mess. Ugh. The resulting…read morewater damage downstairs was huge. We removed the toilet to try and locate the glorious diaper. No dice. Here's the reason we called Pioneer: they had an ad on Google (see picture) for $55 drain cleaning and clean-out. The plumber arrived within a reasonable amount of time. He was friendly. He was professional. All good so far. He first wanted to see the clean-out drain on the side of our house. It didn't look like it would have worked for our situation. He then went upstairs and used the snake to pull out the diaper (which ended up being around 12" down the pipe). It was so close I could have "Probably reached in with your hand and pulled it out" the plumber said. He billed me $205.00. I didn't know that my wife had referenced the Google ad for $55.00 when she called and requested service. She saw the bill and asked me about it. I called Pioneer and inquired. They said since he didn't open up the clean-out and run a snake up it, but rather came inside and ran a snake 12 inches, the price shot up by $150.00. Well, the job was done. I can't complain about the plumber's professionalism. He was polite and did the job. I only took issue with the price discrepancy. I later received a phone call from their office and they confirmed with me that they would actually honor the $55.00 Google ad. That makes for happy customers when businesses do what they say.

They ran a snake through the toilet and eventually figured out that the root intrusion was actually caused by some hack job another company did with the wrong connections a few years back.
