I've been to many chiropractors and Dr. Olson certainly ranks as one of the 2 best I've ever been to. She knows exactly where the problems are and how to get everything aligned. She is very thorough. Kaiser's X-Rays confirmed her diagnosis. She is very strong and has no problem cracking my back and I'm a big guy. She is the only one brave enough to try and sell me a discounted package of adjustments that were absolutely necessary in my case. One or two adjustments would not have been enough. It actually worked out to be far far less per visit than I've ever paid before for the same treatments. The previous chiropractors had me come back the same number of times but didn't tell me that in the beginning nor offer packages. Here's a classic example of YELP abuse. One stupid bad review on the front page and TWENTY FIVE filtered reviews, almost every one a 5 star review. Look at the bottom of the page for FILTERED reviews. I'm sure the reviews are not fake. Her office is the busiest Chiropractic office if ever been to (but it all works quickly and efficiently. By the way her office staff couldn't be nicer and have never been "pushy". Also the office is beautiful and decorated nicely. Certainly not "dated". Also how dated can an adjustment bed be? Unfortunately I took someone's advice and went to Heidi Olson. I had sustained a back injury at my workplace. I ended up BRUISED and in a lot of pain after seeing this woman. Her "treatment" also left me with pain I DID NOT HAVE before I went to this office. Be selective and do not trust this "doctor" with your body. read more

I had visited this Chiropractor, because i have having a posture problem. Before taking Ex-ray she pushed my spine so badly that it hurt and she mad my spine stuck badly, I could know she did something wrong to my back.. Later she gave a treatment plan which was around $2500. I do not know how to deal with the mal practice by doctors like her. ITs been 2 years nobody could fix my problem till date. After struggling so much because of what she did to my back, I feel like she is curse in the name of doctor. I hate her. She isn't a good doctor at all. I wish there is something like negative star. I met dr. Olson at my church's international faire. She gave a free spinal exam on the spot. I was like why not.. Though when she did it, she pushed a little too hard which made me feel extremely uncomfortable! Now my neck hurts from it and my headaches are coming back even more. She even tried to push a deal at $29 but I told her, I'm going to have to talk with my actual doctor first before agreeing... She became a bit sad and even more pushy downplaying my own doctor. They put you through hours of "intake" and x-rays prior to finally giving the adjustment, along with a bunch hidden hocus-pocus to make you believe that they can 'read' you're body, quoting back to you all the complaints you have already told them for their files Price was decent, level of care OK, but it had scam/slime factor all over it. Okay, so, they are very quick with getting you through the whole process, they put soft frozen gel packs on my back, so you won't feel the adjustment, and the table was really cool, when she pushed down, the table dropped where it needed to, as to absorb shock, then she did my neck. when i stood up, omg, i was a whole new man, i was like all straight, and i think i'm taller now, lol. i took a nap when i got home, no pain whatsoever, my core is stronger, and you know how they move side to side in action games, well i feel like movin. its like my whole body works better now, i believe she saved my life, thank you Doctor Olson. :) read more

I have been seeing doctor Olson for 4 years. She is amazing! She explains every step of your adjustment. They do x-rays so you can see your progress yourself. The appointments are super flexible and they really make you feel like family. I have never felt better since come to Olson Chiropractic. I had chronic pain in my lower back and neck that had lasted for years. I'm so thankful that I can work, sleep and move my body without pain now. All are 5 star and if you notice they were all written within a few months of each other (that is not realistic) . They feel like robots wrote them. I totally agree with MM H that they are filtered. I went to Dr. Olson twice. I too noticed she is somewhat condescending when she spoke to me. I know I have back issues but she told me I need 64 appointments at her office over 9 months. I found that very odd that I needed so many. Normally you start with 5-10 to see how it goes. They also really pushed for me to pay for everything up front (for a price reduction). It was as if they wanted me to pay for everything now so they get their money. I don't know about you but I don't like to pay for service up front because if you get bad service you can't get your money back. Also, if you "pay as you go" you can cut it off when you want and not lose money. Overall I was not impressed with this place, not to mention the location stinks. Very bad neighborhood. if you're a true hot-shot doctor you'd be in a much better location. read more

I came to Olson Chiropractic with such pain and discomfort after countless ER and doctor visits where I was "diagnosed" with a sprained back. X-rays were done but never gone over with me and an amount of endless pain pills and anti inflammatory medication was given to me to numb the pain but not fix the problem. After coming here I was skeptical as anyone would that has been through what I have. After pinpointing the problem and working on a plan to improve the pain and swelling I became hopeful. After several months of routine adjustments and no prescription drugs my back health has improved dramatically. Even my chronic migraines improved. I leave there each time feeling like the weight of the world has been lifted. I will continue to come here as my back health is important and has changed my overall health. I just had my 2nd adjustment at this office. I had not seen a chiropractor in 10 someodd years.... and some time in the past 10 years he retired. When I decided enough was enough with my neck, back and lower back / hip pain was taking too much out of my life and it was time to see someone, I had to choose a new office. There are a LOT of chiropractors out there. I looked at a websites and reviews for number of them. I am not even sure I can pinpoint logically WHY I made the appointment with this office over somewhere else, something just "felt" right" about it, and I'm big on following your gut.. BEST decision I've made in a while - I only wish I'd come years ago! At my "consultation" appointment, one of the assistants, tag read Drea but I thought I heard her called Andrea, she went through the many forms with me, health history, trauma history, symptoms etc. She was incredibly patient and thourough. Then Dr Olsen did the exam and took some x-rays, and I left with an apt to come back in several days to go over a treatment plan. At the next appointment, they reviewed my x-rays with me showing me "normal" vs my x-rays, Andrea was again, very patient, very informative and very helpful. They went over the treatment plan / cost estimate with me and offered me an adjustment that day at a reasonable price. I got the adjustment and immediately I felt relief. I went back today for antoher adjustment, and found later that walking felt easier, my movements feel looser, more comfortable and relaxed. I had not realized until that moment the level of discomfort I've been living with 24/7 for as long as I can remember- I'd gone initially for when I have spells of a day or a few days or a week of a severe back / nech pain- to realize how much discomfort I've just suffered through thinking it's just part of life... what a waste. Walking this evening, I felt the best I have felt in years!! Dr Olsen herself is a dream! She's very nice, very concerned with patient education, and for the time she's with you, you are 100% her focus. She explains what she is doing, and why, gives feed back (such as inflamation is going down here, good job on the icing, need to focus more here etc). The office is located on Monument Blvd, off Trees lane, there is a small parking lot out back. Inside the office, it's nice, There is a self check in system in place, which is neat, but the gals at the front desk make sure that each and every patient is greeted personally with a friendly hello and wave - that's great, it would be so easy to let that check in station do the "greeting" for you but they keep it personal. There are a number of rooms, which is good becuase her practice seems to be very busy. I will update later as I'm only at the begining of my experiences here, but so far, I have no complaints, everyone is incredibly helpful, friendly, and customer satisfaction focused. Came to Dr. Olson on recommendation from my father. My father had a severe injury from work several years ago that caused him to use a cane and pain medications. Join Muir, Stanford all said he needed back surgery. My father looked for alternative treatment here and it changed his life. He tells anyone he knows that he owes his quality of life to Dr. Olson. He is a regular hiker no cane needed and no pain pills! So on that note I decided to bring in my 15 yr. old daughter,she plays competitive soccer and is on a national premier team. She suffered from a whip lash type of concussion which took her out of soccer for months, she continued to have off and on headaches. She also had some other things going on like leg weakness, back pain and digestive issues. After consulting with Dr. Olson we knew we were in the right place. SHE KNOWS HER STUFF she is extremely knowledgeable and one of the best in her field! After the first week of treatment my daughters headaches were gone! I had neck pain for 8 months. By the end of every day I was in so much pain I could barely move. I was taking so much Advil and at night an opioid. I wasnt sure how much longer I could take the pain without going mad. Dr. Olson and Dr. Jinnah did a presentation at my work. I immediately took advantage of the offer they presented my group. That was November 2017...fast forward to April 2018 and I am SO much better. I was telling Dr. Jinnah that I made it thru flu season and generally I have a bout of bronchitis in January. When I first started seeing Dr Heidi Olson about 6 months ago, I was having severe stabbing neck pain which I had been dealing with for about two months and it wouldn't go away with pain killers or muscle relaxers; I also had not been able to ride my mountain bike for the last 3 yrs due to a repetitive motion injury I had sustained to my knee. After the first adjustment to my neck, I was able to move my head pain free ahhhh!!! After some adjustments to my lower back and some stretching exercises that Heidi recommended, I can now ride my mountain bike again, HOW AWESOME!!!!! I originally went to see Dr. Olson after a bad car accident. She was referred to me by one of my work colleagues. I had never been to a chiropractor before but I was in so much pain from the accident and I was just given medications for the pain from the hospital which made it hard for me to focus. I decided to give her a try. She made me feel comfortable with the treatment and surprisingly, I was feeling better soon after my first visit. Since that first accident, I have seen her on an intermittent basis for ailments or injuries. She has always gotten me back on my feet. After two other chiropractors, epidurals and an acupuncturist, I almost gave up. Then I tried Dr Olson and after having years and years of neck pain (degenerative disc disease) I finally had the relief I needed to enjoy myself. Dr. Olson is completely personable, patient and listens to what you have to say...which you almost never get in any doctors office. The staff is also extremely attentive and polite. About March 2012, I started a long-term treatment plan with Dr. Olson which lasted about nine months. As a result, I believe I am much better able to manage my chronic ailment. Pain has been significantly reduced, and on most days I am quite fine. The only thing with which I was dissatisfied was Dr. Olson's seeming lack of time to listen to her patients. As part of my treatment plan, I was required to do simple daily exercises at home. I managed to commit to this thoroughly, yet on several occasions immediately after Dr. Olson completed the chiropractic adjustments she would state that I was not doing the exercises. Then, she would quickly move on to the next patient waiting. Because she was unable to note through the adjustments that I was not improving at the expected rate, she must have naturally assumed I wasn't doing my part. I assure every reader that I did my exercises diligently. This leads me to believe there is a degree of inexperience in the doctor's background, otherwise she would have understood that some patients may have a delayed response to treatment. Ultimately, I have not returned to this doctor because, for one, I read an article written by a chiropractor about the inefficiency, even danger, of attemting to correct or reverse cervical subluxations through long-term treatment. As such, this chiropractor recommends for people to avoid chiropractor's interested in providing long-term treatments, for example, Dr. Olson. I've seen different chiropractors in the past, and all have a unique approach. Additionally, back to a previous comment, Dr. Olson always seemed to be in a hurry, and she never took the time to truly listen in order to discover my strong commitment to the recommended exercises. read more
