Well to prove my point that Olson Chiropractic is above and beyond just a place to get a Chiropractic adjustment, I recently broke a bone in my leg and showed up with my soft cast on, before I left I was also given a treatment to promote bone healing, if you're looking for quality care, just give Olson Chiropractic and the friendly staff a visit read more

BAIT AND SWITCH. I did not see Dr. Olsen. A male provider was on duty when I went 11/21/25. This facility appears to have a lot of patients at one time, but only one chiropractor in the office. I arrived at 8:30 and by the time I left at 10am there must have been 10 people sitting in the waiting area. It feels a bit of like an assembly line. There was more time spent with various staff versus the chiropractor. There are 7 treatment rooms or more. I made my appointment by phone, as I was looking to get in as soon as I could, having exacerbated my back a couple of days prior, and was looking for a chiropractor that used the activator method. When I called, the person told me that my first visit would be $27 if X-rays were needed, but the rest of the visit would be free. During my visit they had me sign a 2-page document that had a bunch of charges and I said I was told it would be $27 if I needed an X-ray so I didn't understand why I was signing for all these charges. I was told these were prices for other chiropractors. Oh ok I signed it. The chiropractor came in and recommended I do EMFR and laser treatment if there was time. He wasn't sure there would time for an adjustment. No pricing was discussed. Like I said, assembly line and chiropractor left. I was taken to a different room, and they did the EMFR thing. Then I had to wait awhile for someone else to be done with the laser machine. Mind you, they are pretty efficient but there was a lot of this and that to keep the assembly line moving and I did wait quite awhile in between these 2 things. Then they told me they would give me an ice pack which they never did. They asked if I felt better and I was like, um I haven't been adjusted and that was my main reason for coming in. So they took me back to a different room. I waited a bit and the chiropractor came in to adjust me - 5 minutes or less. At the front they said $189. I said, say what? I explained my call and they said yeah the $27 is for the consultation and X-ray, but the PEMF, laser, and adjustment were all extra on top of that. I was mad at the lack of transparency and I let her know. She said since I have Kaiser and was paying OOP, the chiropractor could set up a treatment plan that would include 20% discount. I said but no 20% discount for today? No. I paid it and left and do not want to ever go back. This is a classic bait and switch. Perhaps the office is full of people who have insurance coverage. If they would have told me the costs in advance, I might have asked for less treatment or just the adjustment. Or totally been fine with it. In the end, I don't think it's an unreasonable charge for a first time appointment. However, I was not able to make an informed decision due to their misrepresentation. That left a bad taste in my mouth and I won't be back. Beware if you're paying out of pocket. read more

Dr Olson is amazing!!! I walked into her office 4 weeks ago with a cane and in a lot of pain. After 1 adjustment, laser therapy, and 10 minutes on vibration board, I walked out (without cane) 100% better. Now month later, services twice a week and no exercise, I happy to say I'm returning to gym. Dr.O mended/adjusted my meniscus. I'm so grateful to all the staff at Olson Chiropractic and especially Dr. Helen. read more

I have been going to see Dr. Olson for 7 years. I was on an intense treatment plan due to injuries of being a sign language interpreter. After about 6-9months I was back to normal! I now go once a month to readjust and to treat my heavy menstrual cycle. Olson is a great person and everyone that works there is so kind! I have recommended them to several and they would also vouch for them. read more

I feel that after 4 months of visiting Dr. Olsen, I can comfortably write a review, however this review can change as I am still visiting this office. I was very hesitant to review this office too quickly only based only on their staff and the overall experience that I have coming in to their office, without being able to also review the expertise, knowledge, care, assessments and improvements that I have made. This is a long one! Ambiance: The staff, as mentioned by other folks here is true. All of them women that work here including Dr. Olsen are extremely nice, I don't know what's in their coffee, but they never fail to have a smile and welcome you in with so much warmth. The affordability: Let's just keep it real. Everything is getting expensive in health care, and everyone is just trying to keep up with rising costs, including businesses like this. However, I have to say, the cost of my care is not too extreme compared to MANY chiropractors in the nearby area. No knocks to Olsen chiropractic, but This office wasn't my first option as I had already visited a chiropractor in Walnut Creek that I truly loved so much but again, tooo $$$$! And they weren't flexible in availability. Dr. Olsens practice offers that flexibility and the pricing is very reasonable. Knowledge and Experience: Dr Olsen is very experienced, she's a bit heavy handed so if you can't handle the pressure, I'd say let her know? But she knows what she's doing. She has had other chiropractors step in in her absence, but my only issue with this is that I wish I would've been told that prior to a session. I'm the type that gets really uncomfortable with having new doctors that have different styles work on my back, I guess it's a trust thing. But I'd say this is something that could be considered? New technology: Dr Olsens office has modernized equipment that I have never been exposed to and I absolutely love it. Laser Therapy is awesome as well as Acoustic wave therapy. Nutrition: I really appreciate doctors who take a holistic approach in care and when I was given a nutritional survey and had a consultation about my diet and exercise, I was very impressed. They had me hooked here. To Conclude: After three months, I felt about 60%-70% better. you may be thinking that's not much, but honestly, when you have major trauma to your back, and you are able to walk and bend at waist again, this is huge. I'm signed up for another 6 months for weekly adjustments, and I'm also doing more on my end to help with this process, by eating cleaner, stretching more often, and working on my exercise routines to strengthen my core. Hope this review helps someone. read more

So much appreciation for Dr. Olson and her team! I first met Dr. Olson last summer after an unexpected back injury. I had some underlying issues that had been brewing for a while that I was not aware of. Dr. Olson met me at my absolute worst, in pain, tearful, and unable to move freely like I used to. I called so many places in tears and Dr. Olson was able to squeeze me in same day. To this day she is still able to squeeze me in when my back starts acting up. I have gotten to know Dr. Olson and her team over the year and she has done a remarkable job creating a group of ladies who truly care for their patients and try to provide education when they can. Extremely thankful for Dr. Olson and her team, and their loving holistic approach to alleviating pain. read more

When I first visited Olson Chiropractic, 08/08 I could barely move my arm and couldn't even turn my neck . Was told by the ER that I popped my trapezius which is located in my neck. I also couldn't sleep, and I was so out of alignment that I could not do any cleaning around the house without tremendous pain. After 2 days of treatment, I had no pain and was back to cleaning the house, not needing and help with showering and sleeping 10X better. Dr. Heidi suggested that I continue to ice and I will be better in a few days. However she already made me feel better. It is so much easier to move and I feel so great after seeing Heidi. - I am now back to doing everything that I need or want to do for, my family, and for myself. I'm a believer! Dr. Leslie Gonzalez brought me back to life! My job consists of documenting which limits my mobility due to having to sit in front of a screen. I found myself having back and neck pain and I believed it to be due to my sleeping position. After being adjusted by Dr. Gonzalez, the pain in my back and the stiffness in my neck and shoulders disappeared. Not only did she relief me of my pain but she also took the time to share the benefits of each body part adjustment. She also educated me on the importance of sleeping on my back since I mentioned I sleep on my stomach. I definitely recommend getting adjusted with Olson Chiropractic as their quality of service made me feel heard, seen, and at ease. I did not realize how much I needed to get adjusted until I did. I will definitely be adding this to my self care list!! read more

Dr. Olsen is great at what she does! She has an amazing team & staff behind her & can definitely make you feel better with time. This would've gotten 5 stars, except I've been out of work for 4+ weeks and the girl at the front desk that handles disability paperwork just told me that she hasn't had time and she will get to it tomorrow.... I have a mortgage and a 2 year old to take care of... what do you mean you haven't had time? Some people don't take other peoples life problems as serious as they need to and that rubs customers completely the wrong way. Please find a new job for that lady, she shouldn't be in charge of people getting paid in a timely fashion clearly. read more

"I think I can help you" she said. I signed the consent for treatment form w/ the understanding that there is no guarantee of improvement. Very unprofessional the whole staff. I felt dr. Olson was trying to milk the insurance I had because it was accident claim. They only catered others the pick and choose who there friendly with. Told me I needed a pillow for my neck had come take measurements and never said nothing about the pillow a waste of time. They didn't disinfect after a person left a room just sent the next person without wiping everything down. I wish I didn't go there read more

What can I say about Dr. Olson?! I have been a patient of Dr. Olson for 12 years - yes 12 years! I have had back issues since a rear end accident in my very early 20's and the back issues have carried on for many years and because of the issue, I have gone to several chiropractors. Due to an insurance change, I had to seek new chiropractic care shortly after giving birth my youngest child - who by the way is now 13 years old and is also a patient of Dr. Olson. I was originally put on a chiropractic schedule until I was more stable and after a few months of care, I reached my maintenance stage. Dr. Olson's care and mindfulness to your needs together with her advocacy of homeopathic therapies has helped me throughout the years. I highly recommend Dr. Olson and have had referred her to several family members and friends who have since had to leave her practice due to insurance changes. If not, they indicate that they would have been happy to continue on as patients as they can tell there is a significant difference in their chiropractor care. Dr. Olson by far has been the best chiropractor I have seen for my back issues and I would highly recommend her to anyone. Her staff is friendly, the office is conveniently located, and getting an appointment for an adjustment is quite easy. Aside from the easy of the appointments and the great staff, Dr. Olson is an awesome chiropractor who clearly cares about her patients. I hope she doesn't plan to retire any time soon because I plan to see her for another 12+ years! read more

If I could give negitive stars if i would. Went in because I was in pain (hurt myself in jujitsu) and they have a $29 first time special. The staff was nice enough, but they just insisted on taking a x-ray, gave me a bunch of insurance stuff, (which I didn't have at the time). Dr Olson came in, did a couple of test, told me to stop what ever i was doing cause it's going to kill me, it's going to take months to fix and told me to come back to go over the x-ray. I left $29 lighter 5 mins later and was told my next visit will be in the ballpark of $50-150. At that point, they were really pushy and concern that I would make my next appointments. I didn't go back, went to another chiropractor the next day who fix me in 5 mins and have been pain free for months with full range of motion. read more

Dr. Heidi is a healer, not simply an incredible chiropractor. Her healing touch has kept me going for over 15 years. I go to her not only for regular "maintenance" but when I have "flare-ups".
