Dr Runco fixed my bad back alignment. He figured out the two points of mis-alignment: One with one of the pelvic bones and one with the spine bones. I had some occasional shooting pain. He knew what was the problem. He had the problem fixed in two sessions. No pressure for continued treatment. Very reasonable rates. First went to another chiro who charged a lot more and didn't connect the dots. Front office is okay too. read more

Oh me oh my...this is my first review of a chiropractor and will more than likely be my last. ''Chiropractic (from Greek chiros and praktikos meaning "done by hand") is an alternative health care profession whose purpose is to diagnose and treat mechanical disorders of the spine and musculoskeletal system with the intention of affecting the nervous system and improving health''...okay whatever... So, I am not one of those people that likes to admit when I am in pain, especially since its a rare time when I am. But now that I am in my thirties, have a full speed ahead career, and exercise regularly.. Translation = 'adult' I start noticing those cricks in the neck more often and most recently, significant lower back pain. S-I-G-N-I-F-I-C-A-N-T!!! I was referred to Dr. Runco through someone I know who has been seeing him over the past 23 years! 23 YEARS!!! Now if that isn't a referral, I don't know what is. I haven't needed to see Dr. Runco for well over a year but this past month I started having some sharp pains in my lower back and in my right hip and well...I called in and got an appt. for two days and when the day arrived, I swear to you that this man cracked my back and neck like a bag of potato chips and the next day ---- no more pain!! I know, this isn't a very sexy or glamourous review, but who the hell cares?!? If your back or neck hurts, what the hell are you looking for anyway?!!? My 14 month started walking about a month ago and I noticed his left foot was a little outward and more flat. He seemed to walk a little crooked and had me concerned. I had adjustments with Dr. Runco in the past and he was great for me so thought of bringing my baby in. In just two adjustments my baby is walking more balanced! I've been to see him 3 times, over the last few years (once took more than 3 visits, but I count it as one) and have been very happy with the results. Today, it hurt to put my socks on. "Lay down, and let's have a look." So I laid down. "OH yes, out of line. Lay on your side and we'll see what we can do." Worked on both sides, and I feel better. At the end, I have an exercise to do because, "I can fix the bone alignment, but cannot make the muscles relax, you have to do that." And inexpensive too!!! Amazing. read more

I wouldn't give Dr. Runco one star. I saw him for so many years that he actually weakened my neck muscles because he manipulated and twisted my neck so much that the muscles that hold my neck are too elastic from his bad practices. He does the same move over and over never realizing what he's doing. His method is antiquated. Does the same moves to every patient. Even if my neck was not in any pain he would manipulate it causing me pain !!!! He actually could not set my lower back in place because he only knows one move: Side to side adjustment. Lower lumbar issues should never be done side to side if 3-4 vertebrae are injured. The last two visits were a nightmare and I limped out of his office. Obviously, he knew nothing else but a series of moves and could not even think of what to do. He's a true nightmare !!!!!! read more

I've been seeing Dr. Runco off and on since 2008. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and obviously good at his job. BodyPump and aerial training had my body feeling out of sorts, so I made an appointment to come see Dr. Runco (hooray for lunchtime appointments). After being setup on the muscle stimulator (so relaxing I fell asleep), Dr. Runco came in for my adjustment. He then reminded me to stretch before and after workouts to help continue to feel better. After my car accident I saw a doctor who gave me a neck brace. I wasn't getting better so I was referred to see Runco. He took the time and asked questions about the accident. How I was sitting, how fast I was going. Kaiser didn't, was just given a neck brace! He told me the neck brace was making my neck stiff. After a few visits I was 90% better. Dr. Pedretti has been treating me for about 6 years now. I have nothing but good things to say about him. He knows exactly what to do for me when I come in. He is very funny, personable and really easy to talk to. He remembers your history after just a couple of visits. He is pretty good at correcting whatever it is that is causing the pain. I've also seen Dr. Runco here when my regular dr. Is out and he too is very good. They have different techniques but good results. Highly recommend giving them a call.
