I really wanted to like Olney Station, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. I ordered the crab cakes and they just did not deliver. They lacked flavor, had a strange texture, and did not taste fresh. For a Maryland restaurant, I expected a much better take on a classic dish. The fries were also a letdown. They came out limp, underseasoned, and not hot. It felt like they had been sitting for a while before reaching the table. The service was fine and the atmosphere was nice, but when the food misses the mark this much, it overshadows everything else.
