Customer Service - Absolutely Disgusting! The young man "Chris" who was cooking our subs was a complete idiot! Didn't say much, but acted like he was struggling to cook our food and he could have cared less about representing your company. I told him is attitude was unacceptable, rude, and he could have cared less! I told him I was going to call corporate and he said go ahead and he could care less! Well he's a real piece of work and definitely needs some guidance and a total attitude adjustment. But that is your problem. I have been to other jersey mikes and always received quality customer service. The few times I have gotten food from the Olney, MD. Best Jesey Mike's in the area hands down. They make your sub fresh when you order it it's never just sitting there like "other" sub places that have meat sitting out all day, and they entertain you while they make your sub. They have conversations with customers they don't act like robots and just ask "what else". Over the last couple of years I have enjoyed many of the Subs. The last few times I found the white bread to be hard and almost stale. Perhaps they changed their recipe. I am reluctant to return The order online site has failed to connect often. Surely this is causing a drop in sales. Since I got no response from my submission on that app, I figured I'd let the community know. This location has been pretty good before, but has started to slip for a quite a while now. The food was fine. My issue is with the customer service. I set my order to be picked up at 1pm. I entered the store and it was somewhat busy but not crazy. I stood there while employee at the cash register engaged the lady in front of me. I continued to wait. There were no online orders on the designated table. I saw 1 large bag by itself that appeared to be a to-go order. Another customer walked in and the employee on the grill walked over, engaged him, and gave him his order. I continued to stand there. I was finally engaged by the employee who was working the cash register and making sandwiches. She finally asked me what my name was and I told her my first name. She condescendingly asked for my last name and didn't bother to look at the ONLY bag sitting behind her. I told her and she handed me the bag. No apology and she acted like I was the problem. This location is horrible. I went once, empty-handed, and I just left there. The sub roll had one layer of meat. I stood there at, least for six minutes. I was the only person in line. There are unprofessional and untrained staff working there. I walked in, and I stood for about three minutes. I heard not a single word. I asked to order. Whoever is meat slicing spoke with no eye contact and was very short on words. She said, hold on a minute, tell em there. The staff was arguing about orders and standing around. The establishment is clean. The bathrooms were as well and fully stocked. I definitely will not be going back here again. When I asked for the sub to redone, the staffer said I had to wait until nine orders were completed before they would work on my re-order. Generally good subs. I've been happy with freshness and quality of the food. The kids working there have been polite and professional. I think there needs to be a bit more training on portion sizes; the amount of meat and cheese I get in my sub varies quite a bit between visits. Solid sandwiches and have had no issues. I utilized Uber eats to have food delivered from Jersey Mike's and I found that the sandwiches tasted great. The cold subs are my favorite with decently fresh ingredients and very tasty bread. At the end of the day, a sandwich is a sandwich. If you're looking to satisfy a craving, I don't think you need to go further than your neighborhood Jersey Mike's. Objectively, I have not dined in their location, so I cannot speak to the customer service or to the condition of the facility. I wanted to update my rating and review. I have ordered much more frequently over the last year and my overall experience was exceptional . Orders were always ready, except once when they happened to get slammed. Even then, they handled it well and my wait was short. I have always loved the cold subs, but was luke warm on the hot subs. The various steak and cheese subs have been great. The biggest overall improvement was in consistency. The Italian cold cut was a little inconsistent at one point, but it looks like this has been corrected. Thanks for the great subs and great service over the last year. Have eaten here a bunch and every experience was perfect. Very easy to order through the app and walk in and pick up. Very quick. We live about 5 minutes away and 9/10 times by the time I would get to the restaurant from our house the order would be sitting there waiting for us. The other few times I haven't had to wait longer than a few minutes. They follow the directions you leave through the app perfectly also. I ordered a couple of subs from this place online in the first couple of weeks they opened. Went to pick them up and was told they didn't have my order.... and when did i call it in? I must have really thrown them for a loop when i told them i ordered it online. The young fellow turned to look at this machine that was printing out online orders behind him as if it was an alien spaceship. He said "Oh, here it is"...along with a dozen others apparently. At this point another a more competent guy jumped in (let's call him "manager") and apologized profusely and put our order in front of everyone else's. And gave us a couple of bags of chips and fountain drinks gratis. The manager said to me quietly "we're working on it" and apologized again as he handed me my order. And the subs? Outstanding. When they mixed up my order with another name and turned out to already have mine ready to go on the table, I tried to retrieve the designated bag. When I did, the associate accused me of "stealing". Wait times are LONG, no one is posted at the register or posted to take orders. Saw numerous health violations (sandwiches being placed on the counter with no barrier paper). They got my order wrong and tried to blame it on me. They're a bunch of kids who don't know anything and haven't been trained for shit. The workers weren't rude. They just ignored us entirely! It's not about hello or small talk it's about running the place to function. All 5 people behind the counter seemed to be continuously working but tell me how nothing got done? First let me tell you that when I want a sub I almost always go to Jersey Mikes because yours taste the best and the service is great. Now for the bad; Yesterday 5/23 I ordered 2 subs: 1) a #6, giant size, (Roast Beef and Provolone with extra meat, bacon and extra cheese) with tomato, mayo and 2) #56, giant size, (Big Kahuna Cheese Steak with extra meat, extra cheese, wheat bread and Portabella Mushrooms). The subs arrived and were not complete as the#6 did not have the extra mean and extra cheese and bacon and the #56 did not have the bacon or extra cheese and as it comes with mushrooms I could not tell, and it looked like there were no Portabella Mushrooms on the sub. Since I ordered these items and paid for them I feel that I am owed a refund for not getting the items. I wrote to corporate and received an email that I would receive a call from the store manager and that was on 5/24adn as of today 604 I have not heard from them. Went to a place across the street from them called Brew Belly to get a cheesesteak and wow it was fantastic and they also had poutine and beer!! So thanks for never calling me back a I have found a new place to get my cheesesteaks!! read more

Ordered carryout subs when Jersey Mike's had been in business for a few weeks. Did not realize that unless you expressly request a certain cheese, your steak&cheese sub will be made with processed American cheese. The American cheese was not visually apparent on the inside of the prepared sub, but its taste was & that was about all I could taste. The steak tastes like the cheapest brand of frozen steaks you can buy at the grocery store. We won't be back. I forgot to take a photo of my sub before I ate it (I was hungry) but took one after I had eaten most of it but I think it would be unfair to post a pic of the sub remnant - you cannot truly see how it looked just after prep. The presentation of the sub is truly unappealing and unappetizing with the ingredients meshed helter skelter so the only identifiable item is the brown steak. If you go there, make certain to ask for a specific cheese to avoid contaminating it with that bad tasting American. read more

I just left there 10 minutes ago after ordering a 43 chipotle cheesesteak, i told the kid 2 to 3 times that i wanted hot pepper spread plus jalapeños added to my sub he then looked at me and said okay " hot peppers and jalapeños right" i said yes please add them. I got home, needless to say coming to find out my sub had no hot pepper spread or jalapeño peppers added to it. Was a good sub but would have been even better with what i asked for. Fantastic and overblown all at once! But one of my favorite quick stops for hoagies. My sister and mother made their lives in Point Pleasant Beach NJ back in the 70s; home of the original Jerrsey Mikes (for the uninformed) that is now a team headquarters... unlike the 'original' shop they claim to be while visiting. Now that the credentials are out of the way; the cheesesteaks are decent, but never part of the original menu (so count out that famous marketing gimick). The #13 Itialian however is original, and is where it's at... but like all Jersey Mikes they lack the TRUE component to finishing any great sub across NY & NJ: hard bread. What is hard bread? No it's not stale, the difference between stale and hard bread the following: powder in your mouth vs chewy bread like sour dough or a french baguette. The kinda bread you can shove in a cooler or fridge for 6 hours and it comes out unchanged (not soggy or squishy), sometimes even better depending in the vinegar/oil+seasoning; you find bread that does that? Welcome to the light my friends. This place will only get 4 stars until it goes back to its Jersey/NY roots and figures out it's the bread that makes the sandwhich. They absolutely have the meat and seasoning down... but the bread drags it down; and while we're on the subject to you Maryland folks; now you know what to look for in a hoagie up north, don't do yourself a disservice... and by god, don't go to a chain. read more

Sadly, after several conversations with Management at this location, they have continued to refuse to offer curbside pick up. After being a loyal customer with food ordering and larger catering orders, will no longer use this location due to significant safety concerns due to rising COVID-19 cases and their refusal to make accommodations to allow for safer options for food pick up. Thus, I will make catering/food selections from the many other responsible restaurant business owners that have made safety a priority and instituted curbside pick-up during this most challenging time in the global pandemic. read more

I definitely must amend my review as they have more than made up for it. Mistakes happen so its completely understandable, but the management here more than made up for it and the subs are top notch. I recommend the Chipotle Cheese Steak (chicken or steak) to anyone.
