The pizzas were also exactly what I was looking for. From the classic options to my personal favorite, the chorizo pizza with jalapeños, everything hit the spot. The combination of flavor and spice was perfect! Oxbow Public Market has some amazing vendors and places to explore, but overall, Model Bakery has won me over. Between the incredible staff, delicious cookies, and flavorful pizzas, this is definitely a place I can see myself coming back to again and again. Highly recommend!

I also ordered an iced coffee, and while the flavor itself was really good, I was a little disappointed to find quite a bit of coffee grounds/sediment at the bottom of my cup. Once I got toward the bottom, it made the coffee taste pretty grainy and unpleasant. I went back and asked if they could remake it, and the staff was kind enough to do so. Unfortunately, the second coffee still had a small amount of grounds at the bottom. It was much less than the first one, so I decided not to go back for a third time. I'm not sure if this was just an issue with the batch or the way the coffee was prepared that day, but it was a little disappointing, especially from a bakery with Bouchon's reputation. Aside from that, the coffee itself tasted good, the macarons were delicious, and I'm glad we stopped in. I would definitely return for the pastries and macarons--I just hope the coffee preparation is a little better next time.
