I called and was met with the one of the kindest humans I have met on this journey of trying to find care for my elderly parent. Harue spent almost an hour on the phone with me giving me tips on how to find good places for my dad and even went out of her way to set us up with a time to tour another place that had an available spot for my dad. I can tell that Harue genuinely loves what she does and truly cares about people. She had been in another independent living facility that was one level and it took a bit for my mother to navigate as this is two stories and larger. However, the staff (this includes EVERYONE, the Executive Director Aileen, t Rea in reception, Juan in maintenance, housekeeping and culinary staff, Lily the chef personally introduced herself to us, I wish I could remember all of the names to give a shout out to) have been wonderful, and were always friendly, courteous and helpful and assisted in her learning curve, she has now mastered the route she needs. She loves her unit and the view of the courtyard. The lunch and dinner meals have a lot of variety and use fresh ingredients. My mother is a modified vegetarian, and the culinary staff has worked to make sure she is comfortable with her choices. We shared a couple of minor challenges in her room and the maintenance staff immediately assisted in suggestions resolving them. She is still new and has not taken part in the MANY offered activities but is looking forward to trying them. I also want to mention the other residents have been welcoming as well, which I feel says a lot about the friendly environment the staff strives successfully to ensure.

She has been here since 10-5-19 and so far she loves it. She says the food is really good, she likes the staff very much. Loves having her own spot but help is close by if needed. The care she received was phenomenal! She had the best care. I cannot speak highly enough about the beautiful facility, the quality of food, and the quality of care she received. They treated my mother, as well as the rest of the family with respect and genuine compassion during one of the toughest times of our lives. My mother passed away over a year ago and I am just now getting to posting about the experience we had. I couldn't bring myself to do it until now. I will never forget our experience. I had my parents in a memory care facility in Lincoln for the last 4 years, dad passed the previous October and mom needed more personalized care. Eastern Manor was the first place I toured out of 4 other facilities. EM was the perfect place for mom. Maria and Emma are angels, between them and their staff, they took the best care of mom during her stay. This was right in the heart of Covid so I had to scramble to find a memory care facility that I could place her in as I live in Oregon and she wasn't willing to move from Sacramento. A friend told me about Eastern Manor as her friends mother had lived there in the past. They accepted my mother and after her living there for two years I would come visit her every month and take her out for a drive and spread her wings. Her room was always clean and tidy as was the whole facility. The staff was always friendly and caring. Never ever had one problem during her two year stay. It's a wonderful environment and the grounds are so beautiful and tropical. I could only hope for such care if I ever get in a situation that I need that level of care. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a home for their loved one.
