I logged into the Sutter App and informed them we were coming. There is a ton of parking and it super easy to find. We walked in and it was empty. The girl at the desk was super nice and checking in was quick! We only waited a few minutes before being called back. Everything is new and clean! The rooms are rather big. The assistant and Dr. were nice and listened. The Dr even called in the other Dr for a second opinion before we decided on stitches. We were brought into another room to have get the stitches. Huge shout out to the nurse/assistant for making my daughter feel less anxious. My daughter did great! Overall 10/10 experience!

The provider was thoughtful, caring, and responsive but that gradually changed as their brand and offerings quickly expanded. I personally had messages that went unaddressed, or partially addressed, prescription requests from the pharmacy went ignored, and anytime I voiced a concern, their responses made me feel like I was ungrateful for advocating for myself. Having dedicated my life to patient care as a healthcare administrator for over 30 years, I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service I received. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

My 2nd visit about a week later for a different medical situation was great again at the front desk. However, this time I had a different MD: a male MD. This MD examined the area of concern and suggested 2 over the counter medicines to use for the next few days. His manner of interacting with me was overly friendly, inappropriate . Although this care center is not a Kaiser center, it does accept Kaiser-covered patients. I am grateful for that. With over 35.+ years of Kaiser Medical office visits, no male MD from Kaiser has ever interacted with me in a way that felt too friendly or inappropriate. I most certainly will go back to this urgent care location; all the other personnel were great, but I will choose to see another MD.

But I recently saw Dr. Harris for a pre-op visit before knee surgery and was very uncomfortable with the experience. He made an unprofessional comment after confirming that I had a C-section, saying it made me a "real woman." That was inappropriate and hurtful. Especially given my birth trauma that resulted in the section. He made some other hurtful comments about other issues during the exam. He did say, I hope you don't take offense so he understands some level of social protecol. His manner throughout the appointment was also extremely awkward. His responses felt delayed and disconnected, which made it hard to feel confident in his care. Overall, the visit felt impersonal and more focused on billing and routine checkboxes than on individualized medicine. I left feeling uncomfortable and unseen and will be going elsewhere.

I am pretty old at this point but I can honestly say he was the best doctor I have ever saw in my life. I mean that. I saw him for several years and he truly was an exceptional doctor! The literal 2 seconds he spent doing that begrudgingly with the stethoscope really stood out...but now that I have been seen by good doctors -- I have a heart murmer that Doolittle missed -- rushing me through telling me physicals were only for Medi-Care patients.
