She left without saying goodbye but said "I will be back" and then sent in a medical assistant to bring me forms & samples instead. Her office is beautiful her staff was very friendly, kind & apologetic. Save yourself the drive & go someplace else. UPDATE: I have often dismissed negative reviews as people being generally unhappy & I have never personally left a negative review. Now after my experiences with Dr. Plante I've never felt so compelled to share. Once Dr. Plante read my review she called my cell phone to argue with me and then called a 2nd time 24 hours later, she cancelled my labs I planned to hand carry to the hospital for thyroid cancer treatment. As someone who took an oath this behavior is vindictive. I have a family to care for and a treatment protocol to continue. Her behavior in the exam room & beyond is consistent and terrible at the same time.

I don't how the other yelp from Emilie in Roseville could even be about the same doctor.

The negative review is for his Front Desk staff since they represent this medical office as a whole. The front desk staff/medical biller tried to charge me a no-show fee for an appointment they had to cancel because the doctor was going to be out of town. Took 40 min of waiting for them to decide to finally waive the fee and bring me to a room to be seen. I still have the voicemail stating they have to move that appointment because the Dr wouldn't be in, even showed the voicemail to the Dr when I finally got to see him. He didn't understand why the front desk staff tried to charge me based on the voicemail he heard. Then the nurse had the nerve to say "we're not waiving anymore fees in the future"in a condescending tone, like I'm the one being unreasonable. Even with proof of them being at fault via Voicemail and call logs, they are willing to deny responsibility for their mistakes. ALSO I have been coming to this doctor for 2+ years now and always paid with Apple Pay. The medical biller was about to deny service because "we don't accept Apple Pay." They have a Clover POS system and don't even know what methods of payment are acceptable. Another staff member had to step in to even try a contactless form of payment so I could be seen.

He spent at least an hour going over all my issues. What a breath of fresh air! He let me speak and he listened and allowed me to ask my questions without feeling rushed. Dr. Upadhyay ordered an array of tests, tests I've never had. At 76, after being active my whole life, I'm saddled with multiple conditions. The first time I've felt really heard. I did the lab work today, and will see Dr. next week. Answers are hard to find, but I believe Dr. Upadhyay will go the extra mile with additional tests if the first effort does not produce an answer. The experience was totally impressive. Dr. really knows his stuff and cares!

Dr. Gonzalez: I have requested a new pump this year but your office has not provided any assistance…read morewith this process. Not only have you failed to provide me with assistance to get the medical equipment I need, your office has ignored requests to send the information and complete this process. We cannot complete this process without you, because you are the process and are supposed to be completing this without me. If you are unaware of the proper steps in this process, you should not be responsible for any patients whose lives depend on you to complete your job. In the realm of healthcare, patient-doctor relationships are built on trust, empathy, and competence. However, there are instances where the bond of trust is broken, leaving patients desperate for the care they need to survive. This highlights my experience encountering gross negligence and incompetence from Dr. Andrea Gonzalez. The failure to provide timely assistance and crucial medical equipment has placed my health at risk. I believe other diabetics should be informed before proceeding with this office. I do not write this review with vengeance, but with genuine concern for anyone considering her as your doctor. In June 2023, I met with Dr. Gonzalez to discuss the renewal of my insulin pump and sensor - Omnipod 5 and Dexcom 6, standard medical devices. From the start, her office mishandled the paperwork, leading to confusion regarding insurance coverage for the devices. Then, her office incorrectly filed the request as a prescription instead of classifying it as durable medical equipment. I was told I would have to pay out-of-pocket each month, which raised doubts, as I have never been charged for these essential devices before (I've had type 1 diabetes for 18 years). I took it upon myself to call United Healthcare and navigate the complexities of the process, as Dr Gonzalez's office stopped after they informed me it would cost out of pocket. Enduring countless hours of phone calls with different departments, I discovered the cause of the delay - her office failed to submit a prior authorization for the medical devices. I requested the office to rectify the situation and resend the necessary documents. The situation escalated further when her office refused to cooperate and became unresponsive. My messages began to go unanswered. When calling the office with the assistance of United Healthcare, I (and the reps) was met with an unhelpful attitude from the receptionists. I have emphasized to Dr. Gonzalez the consequences of not having the insulin pump and sensor. I am facing the real possibility of life-threatening complications due to the mismanagement of her care. I have continued to reach out for help, only to be met with silence and indifference. As a result of Dr. Gonzalez's negligence, I have put in over forty hours of phone calling with United Healthcare, 3-5x per week for 2-4 hours per call from July 5th-present (it is still currently in progress). Multiple United Healthcare reps who have witnessed the gross misconduct from her office have informed me I am not supposed to involved with this process (provider's responsibility) and encouraged me to submit this complaint to the medical board to make sure she and her office takes accountability. In the medical profession, doctors take an oath to prioritize their patients' well-being above all else. I believe that Dr. Gonzalez's lack of actions represent a flagrant disregard for the principles of medical ethics. The appalling treatment I have experienced exemplifies a disheartening breakdown in the the type of relationship Dr. Gonzalez provides her patients. The failure to provide necessary care and assistance during a life-threatening medical situation is unconscionable. Patients with chronic conditions deserve a compassionate and competent healthcare team to help them manage their conditions effectively. From my experience, I do not believe Dr. Gonzalez's office will provide that for any diabetics

To be clear, I was not the patient, but I paid for all services and was with my mom at every appointment. Dr. Danny is super rude and not personal at all. The nurse that would administer IV for my mom was friendly and kind. There was never any follow up and even though we came in regularly, not a single time Dr. Danny acknowledged us or even asked how my mom was doing. If we wanted to ask her anything at all, we needed to make an appointment with her. She's just not a friendly or welcoming person. No bed side matter. It became a time of relaxation for me, sitting back in the big old comfy chairs while the vitamins went directly into my bloodstream, skipping my leaky gut, which allowed my body to assimilate them quickly and completely. When I found out I had heavy-metal toxicity, Dr. Danni came to the rescue with chelation therapy. Although it took a while, as detoxing slowly is the best way to detox, it worked. Removing the heavy metals allowed my muscles to relax and release the pain that I had been feeling, thinking it was the fibromyalgia. When Covid hit, I stopped in and continue to stop in, for immune boosting "flu shots" and B shots. So easy to simply run in & get a shot that will help my immune system to stay strong. I just did an ozone treatment for the first time. Looking forward to the benefits of healthy blood and more energy! I will be forever grateful to Dr. Danni and Advanced Naturopathic Wellness for keeping me healthy and helping me to live my best life.
