In recent months, we've had a few…read moreof our residents under their care at Roseberry Care (roseberrycare.com) and were very impressed with the professionalism, creativity and attention provided, particularly when extended family challenges presented. Great to work with an organization that enables all of the involved care-givers and key family members to present a unified team during those tough moments that require calm and an integrated plan. And we greatly appreciate the extra touches like music therapy.

I called several hospice organizations, going against the recommendation of the group home where my sister was living. The director of Oak Creek was terrific with me on the phone. She understood what I wanted, which was good communication, along with excellent care, and assured me that would be the case. She disappeared once the sale was made. She knew I was upset and she listened in on a conversation with another hospice employee. I heard her in the background, suggesting to her employee what should be said. Getting updates, which I requested from the beginning, was a nightmare. Often the staff seemed overwhelmed and rushed when they spoke to me. The notable exception was the Chaplain. I believe the care my sister received was substandard, but I'm not local and can't say any more than that. My recommendation is that you stay away from Oak Creek Hospice.

We've been to their sister store in Folsom and both locations have pretty good variety and low prices. This location is definitely smaller, but still has some good finds. You just need to take the time to look. It's located in the quaint little Burke Junction shopping center across the street from Safeway and Forklift, so there's always plenty of parking. Most recently, I snagged a cool coffee table made in the Japanese style of woodworking for a steal, plus a Hong Kong VCD version of LOTR! I literally haven't seen any VCDs from Hong Kong in ages, honestly since I've been there, so this was a really cool find. It was super nostalgic for me and I'm definitely adding it to my collection. On the way out, I spied a neat little chubby Pikachu figurine and had to get that as well. My husband has been in a Pokémon collecting streak lately so this was a fun little item to add to his collection too. All in all, the staff are pretty nice and I've been able to find things here and there for such a steal. We'll continue to support this thrift store!

She even let her other dogs come in and be involved so they could understand what was happening. At the end, she offered a box of trinkets for each of our family members to go through and to take a trinket to remember our dog by. As horrible as it is to lose a member of your family, having Dr. Sara there makes it a little easier to let go. I can't recommend her enough and I hope that she's around if we go through this again.

With regard to another review I saw here, it is generally up to the family caregiver to arrange routine medical visits and not to push that to others to do. When we had my family member go to the doctor, with three of the staff in attendance, they took great care of her and also went out of their way to insure she had a good time out with the girls. People who CARE do this... I felt very comforted they did this for her. They also insure she gets help when she asks for it and are pretty prompt when called to her bedside. All in all, great care. Sabrina and Lacey keep a close eye on my family member and the staff who care for her are doing a great job. The facility is CLEAN. The meals are excellent and the staff takes the time to listen to concerns and takes into account what family members think. They have a chef on staff and he cooks some amazing food. Anytime I have concerns, I approach Sabrina or Lacey and the issue gets addressed immediately. My advice to people who do have a loved one in assisted living care is to voice concerns or questions to the staff and not to let an issue fester or become a problem when it can easily be handled while still a small issue. Give the staff a chance to address things and help. When I've voiced issues, it gets looked at immediately. I am absolutely comforted by the fact my loved one is happy and getting the care she needs and deserves. New West Haven has been wonderful and does a great job. Bottom line: We're glad to be part of their world and give thanks for all the nice things they do for us. Thumbs up and a 5 star review for them.

I can't say enough good things about All Seasons. First I will start with Toly the owner . From the time I reached out, he was attentive, communicative and kind. He spent so much time with me, easing my fears and worries that we would find the right place for my dad. He kept me updated all along the way with the waiting process. And he gave me such good advice during the time we were waiting for a spot to open up for my dad. I will never forget the kindness and compassion and dignity he showed our family along the entire process. Second, Lauren, the house manager at the home my dad was in. From day one, she came alongside my dad-really wanting to know him, to understand him, and to help him thrive during his time at All Seasons. Her care and love for dementia patients and their families is second to none. I was constantly amazed at not only her patience and kindness towards my dad (who was very difficult a lot of time) but also to us as his family who were trying to navigate the difficult behaviors and circumstances surrounding his disease. We will forever be indebted with gratitude that my dad had Lauren as his caregiver and advocate for the last part of his life. Also, Hector, Lilly, Melissa and so many more. All the caregiver at All Seasons seemed to be called to care for these special patients. My dad had previously been in a large memory care. For everyone there-it was a job and only that. Not at All Seasons. They hire only those who truly care about patients living with dementia. As a nurse of 28 years, I can whole heartedly recommend All Seasons for your loved one with dementia.

They said 6-9 months, and my sister waited over a year, and deteriorated so quickly that she became a danger to herself and the apartment building she lived in. Darlne was of no help; they just kept saying they were working on things. This is a scam, and it's likely that they are receiving money from the state, which is also a scam. Please don't use them, don't put your family on their waitlist. It doesn't work. We had to move my sister to another state. They give false hope. To this day, 14 months later we've never heard from them!
