Great place for breakfast and brunch! Must try! Been here many times and the food is amazing every time. The dishes are very large in portion and most dishes are shareable, especially omelets. Lots of decor to read on the walls and funnier ones in the restrooms. Staff are super nice and are very knowledgeable of the menu. Cherry was great to us. read more

Came here on a Saturday with my husband. We were greeted & seated immediately. We ordered the strawberry belle a la carte & Peace maker. The Strawberry Belle was amazing! Not too sweet just perfect. The peace maker was good nothing special, it lacked a bit of flavor. The sausage was a bit dry not my favorite. The service here is 10/10! Usually good food. My plate had a lot of food, but everything was cold. Everyone else enjoyed their food. My grandson ordered chicken tenders, they tasted like burnt flour. His gravy was nice and warm unlike mine. read more

I've been coming here for years and they are still fantastic. My family loves the large portions and breakfast selections. We don't get to come here often on the weekends because the wait to get a table can be very long. But when we do eat here we really enjoy the food, atmosphere and customer service. We always take our family and friends here when they come to visit us from out of town. read more

Amazing service from an attentive server who carried an impressive amount of plates, gave great recommendations, and kept our cups full. The chicken fried steak was moist with great breading, breakfast sides were flavorful, and French toast was the perfect crunchy texture. Alright, this is an updated/new review. Almost two years later, I now realize I had the correct pancake in the past it just did not have the correct syrup. The syrup that goes with the Banana Nut Pancake, should be a peanut butter syrup and it wasn't. So now to fast forward, I ordered the Pioneer w/ the same pancakes and once again, it did not have the peanut butter syrup as it should have. Let me explain how good the peanut butter syrup is, it is DANG good and brings out the banana in the pancakes. So not getting what I ordered, dramatically changed the taste of my food. It was so good, I chose to mention it several times in this review. Yes, people, that kind of good! The bacon, to me, was a bit underdone as I am a fan of very crisp bacon. No big deal. The sausage, I really like the mild taste of it, but I wish it stood out a bit more. When I last visited as a dine-in patron, there was someone thoroughly going through her to-go order. I mean, she was taking everything out and opening every container. I have a feeling they screwed up several of her orders in the past. Now that I know they don't correctly put the to-go orders together, I will be that patron as well. I will check EVERYTHING, including the syrup. HA! read more

We sat down at 9:30am with no wait and ordered our food. We did not receive our food until 10:30. It wasn't a big order, just 2 entrees. They also charge extra to add jalapeños. Oldwest is just a great local brunch place. I lucked out and there wasn't a wait but usually there is a small wait especially Saturday and Sunday late morning. I love the feel of the place and supporting local restaurants. The lunch menu is small but there is one if someone isn't feeling breakfast. I was feeling French toast and loved all the options. Got the Round Up that had cinnamon crunch, whipped cream and strawberries. Totally delicious. I have had quite a few items on their menu and honestly have never had anything bad. Delicious comfort food here at this cafe! The inside has ample seating and friendly staff working all around. Their menu is so appetizing and definitely satisfied my group with good pricing and generous portions. Their coffee offers all the flavors with their creamer selection at the table which is a plus. My *Mocachino Panckakes* were absolutely delightful: mocha pancake made with real coffee served with maple coffee glaze. Get in my belly!! I can't say enough about this breakfast. Good prices, generous offerings and delicious. My husband had the four-egg omelette packed with meat and vegetables. Didn't even touch the sides. He talked about it for days. I had the migas with hashbrowns and it was the best migas I've ever had. Just delicious. Our server was young man who was very polite and efficient. We had a bit of an overcharge on our receipt and they were very quick to make it right. I appreciated the service and the food immensely. How I wish there was one of these where I live out of state! First off if you are looking for a great southern breakfast this is the place to be! Nothing from French toast, waffles or pancakes have ever disappointed me. And I don't like pancakes but I eat there's! Their French toast is delicious and even though it's not saying family style you could because serving sizes are huge! Their service is always so friendly and they are quick to get people in and out. Love the ambiance as well because you feel like your in the wild Wild West with all the paintings and decor! read more
