She listens intently and then her craftsmanship is top notch. I initially made an appointment about a custom dress but ended up getting a Kleinfeld's dress due to personal reasons. Instead of paying New York prices for alteration, I brought my dress to Brittany because there's just something about getting that gut feeling knowing you can trust someone with one of those important life events and one of a kind garments. She ended up doing a French Bustle on my 12-layer dress, adding boning to the top, bringing in the bust, shortening the dress by quite a bit, and switching out the skirts zipper for grommets and ribbon to allow for weight differences if I had any. When I returned for my first fitting, everything was perfect... there was no need for multiple trips, I took my dress home at our 2nd appointment! Talk about efficient and then her flawless work... no one would ever know my dress was altered, it looked like it was made for me specifically. I also had her alter my mother's dress which included shortening and adjusting the top to fit her shoulders better, my mom took her dress home the same day as I did. I can't recommend Brittany enough, seriously, anyone I hear that needs a seamstress especially for weddings, I rave about her customer service and beautiful work. Oh, by the way, her shop is adorable! It's spacious and welcoming, farmhouse chic and she has a bunch of wedding dresses and flower girl dresses available in shop to try on and/or purchase. Actually something I learned about Brittany while working with her is that her passion is taking old/used wedding dresses and making the alterations to create a new dress from it, hence the shops name. :)

Seemed like an easy procedure but it cost me $30 something dollars! Basically as much as I paid for the jumpsuit, but whatever. When I came to pick the jumpsuit up, I tried it on, and noticed that they made additional alterations around the chest area. I asked them WHY when I only came in for a simple alteration but they then gave me "their professional opinion". It really pissed me off bcus now I cannot move my arms around in that jumpsuit bcus it definitely causes a nip slip---ofc I wear nipple covers----but BEFORE that alteration I did *not* need to worry about that. They even saw how easily my nipples were slipping out but offered no solution. Just sent me on my way..... terrible customer service. I'm never coming back here again.

When I came back for the second it was twisted and they had unwrapped the material and it needed to be folded back over. -Additionally I am a small busted person, my satin material kept me from getting a built in bra and she just kept telling me I needed to get a push up... push up what?!?!
