Nevertheless, this was a special occasion for me since my daughter was about to graduate from JMU, so I was very glad that they were able to help me look sharp and proper for her graduation events. He is very straightforward about what is possible. My first order I left two vests and 6 pair of pants which needed waist and hemming. The vests needed significantly more work. The total for all 8 pieces was $210 which I found extremely reasonable. He estimated a month completion and was done a week early. I have dropped off another 8 pieces today- 5 pair of pants and 3 dresses. I am confident I will get them back finished beautifully.

I had a bridesmaid dress that I needed to get altered. It was a complicated dress with many layers. The seamstress ( Im horrible, I forgot her name) works there alone, but it seems that she has many loyal customers. Despite the complicated dress, she was able to give me what I thought a very reasonable price (Under $90) - I had to cut the length of each layer and tighten the corset bust. She was very nice and the dress was finished in the exact amount of time she estimated it (~2 weeks) - I plan on going back and giving her all my work pants that are too long whenever I get the chance. Btw the dress came out beautifully.
