I dropped off a cashmere sweater to have 4 antique cut steel buttons put on and put them in a bag attached to the sweater and a pair of pants to them and I came to pick them up and not only were the buttons replaced, they lost the antique buttons and never hemmed the pants. I was met with blank stairs and poor communication and no idea where anything was. I cannot stress that if you want your clothes to come back clean and alterations to be done correctly go anywhere else.

I had a bridesmaid dress that I needed to get altered. It was a complicated dress with many layers. The seamstress ( Im horrible, I forgot her name) works there alone, but it seems that she has many loyal customers. Despite the complicated dress, she was able to give me what I thought a very reasonable price (Under $90) - I had to cut the length of each layer and tighten the corset bust. She was very nice and the dress was finished in the exact amount of time she estimated it (~2 weeks) - I plan on going back and giving her all my work pants that are too long whenever I get the chance. At the first appt for alterations, she let me tell her what I thought needed to be fixed first before offering her suggestions. First, they took my dress in and literally made it 1.5 inches to small, it would not even zipper. So then I had to come back and they were trying to put boning in, but it did not look good so then I had to ask for them to take it out. And STILL the dress is too small but they would not listen to me when I asked for it to be slightly bigger. It felt like I was being dismissed and they were really poor at communication. I was hoping for better, especially after all of the good reviews, but it did not live up to the expectations. For how expensive they are, I would spend my money elsewhere.
