From the moment we walked in, the hostesses and manager made us feel welcome and had us seated right away. Our server, Angel, was fantastic. He walked us through the menu, explained how many of the dishes were prepared, and made thoughtful recommendations without ever feeling pushy. We started with the octopus and fresh focaccia with honey. The octopus was exceptional--easily one of the best I've had and on par with dishes I've enjoyed at Michelin-starred and James Beard-recognized restaurants. We also shared the beet and goat cheese salad, followed by the local snapper and the ribeye cap topped with lobster claw and tail in chimichurri. Every dish was beautifully prepared and showcased the quality of the ingredients. The cocktails were well balanced (not overloaded with ice), and the Thyme on Thyme is an easy recommendation if you're looking for something light and refreshing. The wine list paired nicely with the meal as well. Watching the sunset over the water while listening to music drifting across the park made the evening even more memorable. Thanks to Angel and the kitchen for such an outstanding experience. Seventh South has earned a spot on our regular rotation whenever we're in Naples.

Our server Mike, did an excellent job taking care of us. We started off with a couple cocktails. I had an Old Fashioned and my wife had the Not Bogged Down. For dinner I had the Chorizo Encrusted Red Snapper and my wife had one of the specials which was the Tripletail. She said it was the best seafood dish she has ever had. For dessert, we split the special Crème Brûlée topped with diced fruit. We enjoyed the dessert so much, we purchased one for a sweet family of four sitting next to us. Our server Mike and the owner, Barry, helped make that happen and we appreciate it.

While scrolling through some of the photos and reviews, I saw the stuff French toast and I was immediately in! We came on a Saturday morning and they were busy enough but not packed. We asked for their first available, which was outside. During summer it's a bit of a risk to sit outdoors, but it was in a covered area. They have a little side patio area, but a lot of the outdoor tables are randomly placed up against the building and in the walkway to accommodate additional guests. It's kind of weird when people that live in the building walk by as the walkways aren't very wide. The inside area of the restaurant is not very large. Our waitress was very friendly and welcoming. Even if she did spill a bit of coffee on me which she was apologetic for. My husband got the crab cake Benedict and I got the strawberry stuffed French toast. Absolutely loved everything! My husband's only note was that he did not like the corn inside crab cake. The cheesy hash browns were definitely a hit for us! The stuffed French toast was divine - basically desert! I like that the dish also came with eggs and bacon! The iced coffee was pretty good as well. Overall, this was a great experience with the exception of the weird outside seating arrangement. 8/10 recommend!

Friendly. Didn't go over the top but then again it seemed like maybe there was a rush and only two servers were on? Didn't matter much because we got what we wanted and needed. I got the shrimp and grits. He got the standard Benedict. I got a side of fried green tomatoes. All was crazy good. Portions were enough to take most home. Food was incredibly rich, but I was happy.

I went twice within 24 hours because the food was simply delicious. I enjoyed the blackened snapper eggs Benedict. Now I am from Florida so I know good snapper from bad and this was amazing. It was perfectly blackened with a great Cajun flavor and the fish remained succulent. The biscuits here are incredible. Huge and fluffy and tasty. I substitute the hollandaise sauce for their sausage and jalapeño gravy which I think was a pro move!! My second day I enjoyed the fried chicken and waffles. I also had a slice of hummingbird cake. If I had stayed in nipples a third day, I would've returned one more time. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back next time. I am in Naples.

Ive gone in a number of times, obviously id prefer a 1 on 1 conversation with her, but when the bar is full if you want to talk to her, be prepared for a group therapy session. The ambiance does produce a soothing subdued feeling even without any booze in you. the bar is usually full during season, in the offseason i still would recommend having a Happy Hour which im a proponent and promoter of at every establishment. However i wanted to wait until i tried a food item on the menu before writing a biased favourable review for her, as tantalizing the kangaroo looked on the dinner menu, i decided to go for Tom's Turkey sandwich at lunch for $23. I am a sandwich person, i do make them everyday, going in on i thought it would be a typical elongated food chain sandwich, and for the price would be a second serving the following day. the menu said it came with a side but looking at the sides i assumed the price would be extra, i wanted the fries after seeing them but was out of a price range for me to add on. I elected to go with cole slaw which was subpar, it would be better if it was gotten from Publix and scooping it into the ramekin. I didnt like the Tom's Turkey sandwich after getting through it while it deconstructed, i didnt know what i was eating to tell you the truth with an extra spice to it.

We went for my dad's birthday, and they made us feel like we were the only table in the restaurant. glasses were never empty, dirty plates were picked up quickly. it was phenomenal. It is definitely a hidden gem as it is unassuming in the strip mall plaza with the drive thru jimmy johns. 10/10 food. Next time, we will have to try the kangaroo!
