We felt well taken care of at this beautiful bed and breakfast! The concierge staff was extra helpful - from helping me find a running route to renting us bikes ($14/day) delivered to the room. The room was spacious and always clean with fresh towels, and we appreciated the pool/beach towels available in the lobby. We also liked the key pad doors because we didn't have to worry about a key the whole weekend. The breakfast was delicious and abundant, and the flavors of the lobby beverages (water and lemonade) changed daily. Finally, the pool was great and just around the corner, as were the popular bars and restaurants! We loved the location since we could walk to everything.

My wife and I stayed at the Old Town Manor for two days while visiting Key West. The location couldn't be better and staff were fantastic. Loved our room, but it was in need of some TLC. I know Key West is expensive but I almost fell off my chair when my wife told me what the nightly rate withe tax and extras cost. I'll be back because one of the few places that is dog friendly and that's important to us.

We had a wonderful stay for one night on a short trip to key west. Very cute place. Friendly staff and the breakfast was very fresh and delicious. There is a spot in their driveway you can unload your stuff and then either pay 25$ to park there or 10$ to park a few blocks away in a garage. It's very close to the party bars and nightlife of Duval Street to walk, but far enough removed that it is quiet at night. I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to key west! Side note- there's no pool so if that's important to you then you'll have to stay somewhere else. We didn't care to have a pool and didn't have time for it anyway.

The room was great. There is a cute courtyard to sit in for breakfast or at night. The complimentary breakfast had lots of organic and locally made foods. Very close to Duval street so easy to walk to the shops but it's not noisy at all. Parking is tough but there is a parking lot a few blocks away that we left our car in.

We planned a trip to explore all of Key West over Thanksgiving. We were looking for a place to stay near all of the action but not in all of the action. And after reading about many places to stay we chose Old Town Manor based upon location, reviews, breakfast, room size. We arrived early and checked in. The room was not ready but they took my cell to let me know when it would be. We walked to lunch and got a call before we finished that it was ready. We unloaded and were able to secure a parking pass. The facility is a hike down the street. Don't forget anything behind otherwise you will have to head back there. It appears there is a spot for one car on property. Room was very well appointed. There were three of us and we had a queen (I think) and a twin. Bathroom was good size. We even had a patio. The AC did not seem to take the humidity out of the air well. It was an older window unit near the ceiling. It was always quiet. We used their wifi and even a little cable television. We never did make it to the pool at the sister property. Breakfast was good. One day we felt like vultures as we had to leave early for a snorkel trip and kept hovering to see if it had opened. Lots of options for all tastes. I would have liked to have seen some high protein yogurt. Coffee was excellent. Would we return- yes. Location, breakfast, room size all good. Thank you Old Town Manor.

When I was planning for this three day trip to Key West, I was looking for a hotel that's not just pet-friendly, but also close to all the actions on Duval Street. So I started doing some reach and found this bed & breakfast place. I like this location because it's only one block away from Duval Street, and they are extremely pet-friendly. Some hotels requires a large amount of pet deposits, which could cost as much as the room. Some places do not allow you to leave your pets in the hotel room alone. And even if some places allow you to leave your pets in the rooms alone, you have to leave your pets in crates. Of course we are not willing to do that. But this place is very flexible. Not only we can leave our dogs in the rooms alone, which we probably wouldn't do anyway, but we don't have to put them in crates. Since the prices of their rooms are still competitive with the surrounding hotels, I booked it immediately. When I first pull my car in front of the hotel, I was immediately impressive of this place. I love the building because it has a lot of history, but inside the hotel it has been completely remodeled. The reception area looked stunning. I love the color of the walls in the lobby, a very light and refreshing green. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. He showed me to our room and also gave me a little guide on the surrounding area. When we walked the room, we were really pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and clean. It's got two large queen beds with pretty modern bathroom. We have a nice patio with some a table and chairs outside our room which looks very nice too. Too bad the weather was pretty hot and steamy when we were there, otherwise I see ourselves sitting in the patio enjoying a couple of adult beverages. And our doggies loved the room. When they got off the stroller, they started running around the room and exploring the new home for the next two days. They seems to enjoy the bed because once we placed them on the bed, they didn't seem wanted to be taken down...LOL! Overall, our two nights stay was very enjoyable. The room was very comfortable and clean. It's only one block off Duval so all the bars and restaurants are within walking distances. We'll definitely come back here again the next time we're in the Keys.

We recently stayed at this Bed & Breakfast for 3 nights and came away impressed. The building is an old Key West style home that has been converted to a B&B. It is located one block off of Duval street on Eaton so you can pretty much walk to any restaurant or bar on Duval. The rooms are a little dated but it fits the decor of the venue. I will say definitely stay on the second floor if you have a choice - our friends stayed on the first and they heard their neighbors above "having a dance party" Since this is a B&B they served complimentary breakfast each morning in the patio. It was not a full-on breakfast buffet but I would say it was several steps up from a continental breakfast. It was definitely nice to have this set up every AM. There is a pool available at one of the sister properties just a couple of blocks away. Since it was kind of cold we didn't check it out. What really sets this place apart is the service. From a couple of weeks out we started receiving emails from the friendly staff offering to help set up tours, etc. Once we arrived we were blown away by how friendly and attentive the staff was. Al carried our luggage to our room and even arranged for us to rent bikes that were delivered to the B&B. Sam from Australia was one of the nicest people I have met and she was happy to provide advice and engage in friendly conversation. She also hooked us up with beach towels to take to the pool party at Dante's. Overall this was a great place to stay and I would highly recommend to anyone thinking about going to Key West.

Our wedding reception at OTM. Literally perfect. Dec 14, 2013

We had our wedding reception at OTM. I can't say enough about how fantastic it was. Here are a few key points : ) *We rented out the entire property and got a great deal. *Nicole was superb! Seriously- whatever she's paid it isn't enough. Very attentive, kind, funny, helpful,... the list goes on... we love her! *One block off Duval, so our guest walked to the bars after our reception. ( and its NOT noisy) *Nice breakfast, very homey and a good money saver *Parking was close and easy Highly recommend staying here! They made our wedding dreams come true.

Very nice place just half a block away from the over rated Duval Street, if that's your thing. Staff was incredibly friendly and nice, that includes Doc the big friendly cat who loves rubbings. Place was super cozy, with an old time charm that features a lush green backdrop setting. Loraine, who checked us in was as nice as people come. I will definitely stay there again. Only reason I didn't give it a five star rating was because it was missing a pool. Other than that, a really charming place to stay.

The Mermaid & The Alligator is hands-down the best bed-and-breakfast in Key West, and honestly, you'll wish you never had to leave. Housed in a 1904 Victorian mansion right in the heart of Old Town, this independently owned gem has the kind of charm chain hotels only pretend to have. Think wraparound porches, lush tropical gardens, orchids dangling from banyan trees, and a vibe so tranquil you half expect Hemingway to stroll through with a daiquiri. The rooms? Gorgeous. Each one feels personal, with Caribbean-inspired decor, canopy beds, and soft linens that make it way too easy to "accidentally" sleep through your Duval Street plans. Outside, the gardens are pure Key West magic: fountains trickle, palms sway, and yes -- the occasional rooster might strut by like it owns the place. Breakfast here is its own event: fresh tropical fruit, homemade pastries, quiches, and strong coffee served in the garden. It's the kind of peaceful start that makes you consider selling everything, moving here, and writing your memoirs. And because it's independently owned, the hospitality feels personal -- warm, genuine, and full of little touches that make you feel less like a guest and more like a friend who lucked into paradise. The Mermaid & The Alligator isn't just a stay; it's a love letter to Key West itself. Come for the charm, stay for the breakfast, and leave plotting how to "accidentally" extend your trip.

We booked this establishment months in advance, which is probably necessary, as we wanted a premium and quiet room. Arrival was easy. Of note, unlike most establishments in Key West, they have a dedicated and paved adjacent parking lot. As we arrived just a little later than planned due to plenty of rain on our route, the Inn called and checked our arrival time and kept afternoon snacks and drinks available. We were walked to our room after an easy check in and shown the highlights of our room. A basic, but premium , continental serve yourself breakfast was provided every morning. Also, every late afternoon snacks and happy hour was present. Pro tip - try the house made sangria! The amenities and comforts of the room were great. The bed was comfortable with several pillows and premium sheets. The room was cleaned thoroughly daily with fresh towels provided. The A/C is the older type wall model with some noise; but actually nice white noise, and it worked really well. Make no mistake; Key West is hot and humid, you'll be loving the A/C. The toiletries were nice and plentiful. The shower and upgraded spa tub were absolutely perfect. There is a little fridge, wet bar and Keurig with several K cups, cream and sugar. Two blocks away is the historic Hemingway House and Key West Lighthouse. Also, a great Cuban cafe is a block away. A CVS is nearby for emergency purchases. Numerous restaurants and shops are nearby. We parked our SUV and walked everywhere during our stay. One day we got a trolley ticket for the further sights such as The Southernmost Point. Lastly but not least. The staff are extremely professional, knowledgeable and willing to assist. Huge kudos especially to Danny who was absolutely stellar as he assisted and served us numerous times. In addition to Danny, Cary was also a notable benefit to us and this wonderful lodge. Lastly, kudos to our housekeeper as she was very thorough and came and went daily with perfect timing. Next time we visit Key West in the Free State of Florida we will only consider Almond Tree Inn!
