We were so happy with our stay here-- set in a charming old house turned hotel, they kept some of that old Florida house charm in the decorating. While some of the decor feels a bit outdated, everything was clean and COMFY! We loved the private patio out back, with its tall fence (no staring your neighbours down while you sit out!). Loved that every room opened up onto the pool in the courtyard. The hotel is rather small, so it felt very homey, and everyone was friendly. The location was fabulous -- just a block over from Duval Street, you can walk literally everywhere in minutes (or bike, which we did, and they had a secure area with bike racks to store overnight). Breakfast was included, although we slept in and did not make it there in time, so I don't know how that was. The ONLY complaint I have is the parking situation: there is no dedicated parking for this hotel, just on-street parking wherever you can find it. Some is paid parking, some is free, so YMMV. We found a spot a couple of blocks away that did not cost, and left our vehicle there the entire time we were in town. The resident kitties in the courtyard are a definite bonus :-) We were happy and will be back to stay here again when we come back to town!

I've stayed in the Heron House twice and they do not disappoint. Although the rooms are a little out dated, they are very well kept. Since the last time i was there they have remodel certain rooms. It a homey resort, small and personal. It's SUPER convenient to stay here since it's just a street away from Duval street. It's literally walking distance from everything!!! Heron House has became our go to whenever we come to the keys and will keep coming back.

We had a great stay and Visit to Key West. I recommend staying here because he location is just one short block from Duval street where there is plenty of shopping, bars and restaurants. Some reviews mention the breakfast as a negative. My guess is management listened because the breakfast options were plentiful and staff hosting were super friendly. The options ranged from eggs and cheese, scrambled eggs, sausage, muffins, toast, croissants, fresh fruit, oatmeal, cereal, milk, juices, and a coffee bar. All the PRO's Convenient to Duval street Charming and super quiet Staff was friendly at check in and at breakfast. Decorated cute and super clean Parking can be found as close as a block away for free Walking distance to everything Breakfast was over the top good. Lots of options Easy check in and checkout process All the CON's ( as you can see not too many) :) Parking is pay directly in front of the property Tv was a bit undersized for the space ( not that big of an issue) Wished pool hours allowed for evening swimming Hot tub would be nice Suggestion!! It would also be nice if they hosted a little "cocktail hour" from like 5pm - 6pm for the guests by the pool. Maybe offer one signature drink and key lime pie as a way for guests to all come together and meet and greet. It would just push these guys that far ahead of anything in their area. It's. A great place and this would simply make them that better. To be honest I'd even pay, heck We paid over 10.00 a drink at Margaritaville I would have gladly rather see the money go to them and what a great way to meet staff and others staying here too.

Beautiful little resort. Poolside king room was clean and comfy. Continental breakfast by pool is a perfect start to the day. Patrick at the front desk was helpful and accommodating. I'd stay again next visit!

We stayed there in room 5 for my birthday weekend and had a great stay. We had our own private porch in the front of the building by the gate and it felt like our own private home. Our room was overall very clean. The staff were friendly from check in to check out. This is very close to Duval Street, which was also a plus for us.

The Heron House was a pleasant surprise. Very charming old house turned hotel a block from Duval Street and only a few blocks to Mallory Squaer. The location is great. No dedicated parking so you have to pay for parking on the street (and find a spot). Rooms are a little bit outdated but a tasteful island decor, king size bed and pillows comfy. Each room has its own porch area with rockers. Our second room was in the front of the house so it had a huge private balcony. They had a decent pool but we did not have time to use it. Continental breakfast was served but unfortunately we didn't get down there till 10 AM and everything was gone. There was a little bit of coffee left but the gentleman cleaning up told my husband he only had two creamers and did not offer to go get more from the kitchen so we passed on the coffee. The only other disappointing thing was that there was no soap for the bathroom sink, although they did have shampoo and liquid soap hanging in the shower. So to wash your hands you had to go to the tub and squirt some liquid soap in your hand and then back to the sink. Other than those two small Issues the stay was absolutely great and the price for the hotel was much more reasonable than others in the area. Given its location and the cleanliness of the hotel I would definitely stay there again.

    The room was # 10

The property is filled with hammocks and tree swings, perfect places to drink your FREE coffee or tea from the lobby every morning. You know what I loved more than all the free beverages (lol)? The fact that we visited in the middle of summer and didn't get bit by a single mosquito! How is that even possible in Florida during summer??? They must spray & have mosquito repelling plants. Or super powers. Our room was cute and clean. We got the standard room (no upgrades) after the Hyatt screwed up our reservation and we were scrambling to find accommodations last minute. But ya know what?! This place was so much better! I can't rave enough about Eden House. We are definitely staying here when we come back!

On top of that the room is almost closet sized with an exposed shower and sink which makes it feel very humid in the room. Theres barely enough space between the bed and wall to walking into the room. The shower also hadn't been cleaned with a piece of old soap stuck to the floor and bug crawling under the pillow when i moved it.. I brought it to the attention of the man working the front desk who first told me it was a queen. The GM came on later that evening and admitted that it wasn't a queen and offered us a slightly larger rom but same size bed. Again the sink was in the room and it was stuffy and humid which made it hard to sleep more than four hours. I canceled the room after one night and tried to get my money back, but they've refused. Do not stay at this hotel. The "queen room" is basically just a hostel at hotel prices. $260 a night in my case.

We absolutely loved the location of Casa 325 but I think we loved the fact Casa 325 had a pool even more so! Between lounging in the pool for hours (I fell asleep!) and the air conditioning, we survived Florida at the end of July - oh the humidity! Our room was super cute, spacious, and clean. We had two twin beds which was perfect for our needs. There was also a small refrigerator although I'm not sure about a hair dryer. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was quite charming overall. Reasonably priced - access the best rates on hotels.com or Expedia. While I would have loved to give the coveted fifth star to Casa 325, I could not because we had some initial difficulty with the parking situation at Casa 325. Despite there being a parking lot in the back (although small), we were directed to park at a lot a couple blocks away from the hotel. With that being said, we had to pay $20 for overnight parking and I don't believe it was in and out parking but I might be wrong on that. Either way, it was frustrating to have to park a couple blocks away with all of our belongings. And, having been on the road for over three weeks, our stuff was no where near organized to be able to easily pull it out of the car and drag it to the hotel. Oh well, we survived.
