"VERY POOR HORRIBLE SERVICE" MY KEYS I LOST WORKED ON ALL BUT HATCH Originally was quoted $175.00 to have a key made for my car. The guy that was sent out didn't ever give me his name. The first key he made worked on one door and nothing els. He spent hours trying to make it work which I appreciate. He made a second key without asking me the customer before doing so. The second key worked on one door and ignition, he then tells me I told him to make a second key and charges me $250.00! I explained this was never talked over we get into a argument I ask him to break the keys and leave my house, he says "I'm not breaking nothing and thanks for wasting my afternoon" takes my keys and leaves. Now I have to worry about theft on my vehicle he has my keys knows where I live! This is bad business at its finest. HE MESSED UP ON ONE KEY AND CHARGED ME MORE FOR IT NOT ACCEPTABLE!! He was not paid. I will be reporting him not breaking my keys to the police. read more

I lost the key to my 2000 toyota camry, so I called Bill and he came to make a key. Long story short, Bill tore my ignition switch up, so that the key he made did not work! So, now my ignition is tore up and he refuses to answer my calls!! WHAT A RIP OFF JERK! Now, I am having to have the car repaired, and it is costing me $300.00 for SILLY Billy's folly! Do yourself a favor, and do NOT call this fool if you ever need key service! He is a baffoon, who doesn't know his craft, but, even worse, refuses to acknowledge or accept responsibility for his mistakes! I would have given a lower rating if I could have. I called this place at 9pm and it sounded like the guy who answered just got done running a marathon or something and I asked if I could get a free quote. his response was "what do you mean free quote?..... on what?!" in a very rude tone. I hung up after very rude responses to my questions. never would call them again. can't imagine what his services are like... You can definetly tell which reviews on this company are fake and scripted and which ones are real. read more

I called at 8 p.m. after my deadbolt on my house front door broke and I was locked out of my house with no way in. A man answered and immediately started complaining about how it was so late, it would be really expensive, and he didn't know what was wrong with the door. I decided to go with GT locksmith and they arrived within 10 minutes and I was in my house in 15 minutes. They should not advertise themselves as a 24 hour/emergency service if they are not up for dealing with an emergency call. read more

I was frantic after locking myself out of my camping trailer and had a group of friends on the way to camp. I called Bill and he drove right over on a Saturday morning. THIS GUY IS A HERO! I locked my 11 week old puppy in my RV, and AAA couldn't break in without causing serious damage. 45 minutes of waiting for AAA, then 30 minutes while they tried to get in, and poor puppy is crying the whole time. like an idiot, locked my keys in my car because i wanted to leave the power on to charge my phone. the girl at olive garden was so nice to let me use her phone to call Old Town Lock & Key. Bill answered and said he would be there in 20 minutes, as he was across town, and said it would be $85. no problem. it was like 10pm. he showed up in more like 10 minutes, let me into my car, then offered to make me a spare key on the spot at no extra charge. took him up on that. really nice guy, and i even got home before my take-out was completely cold. thanks Bill! read more

First off, it says it's 24/7, I called 3 times no response and left a message, then I finally got ahold of him at 635 am, I asked, are you open, he replied, I'm just waking up what do you need? I wasn't sure if this was a business or not at this point, I said I need service, i locked my keys my car. He took a small pause, then replied ummmm what kind of car do you have, I told him. He said okay umm 75 dollars... I'm like that's kind of expensive, I'll call and get another quote. This company is lying about hours of operation, very unprofessional when calling and just gave me a hush up price because I woke him out of his sleep, and soon as I said I'll get another price he said okay hanging up quickly, I know he really didn't want to do it, I could hear it in his voice. It's my fault for locking my keys in my car but will the real companies please stand up. I should have moved on when I called 3 times and no answer.
