Cheese curds, excellent! $15 for this serving.

This place was in the tiny down of Emigrant. The food was outstanding. The place was clean and chairs are comfortable (no sides). The service was lacking but they were very busy so I didn't knock off a star. They got our order wrong, didn't refill water jug unless we asked and never brought extra napkins. Our waitress wasn't standing around, just didn't prioritize us. Like I said, it was busy. The food was amazing and people were loud and happy. I would eat here again.

This was a BIG disappointment. I should have guessed as I had to call 3 x & send 2 emails to try to get a reservation for my large party (16). The menu was changed from the one online and no longer featured fish & chips, bean burger or others. We had 2 meat-free diners who had boring green salad & fries. Two Drinks never arrived, the water wasn't refilled. Food arrived in piecemeal. All fries & nachos were ice cold. Fried chicken sandwich was over cooked & dry. Burgers were decent. And was caprice salad. The website advertised a band but we were told there wasn't one tonight. Don't waste your time or money.

Ok....stopped in with friends from out of town for lunch after the hot springs. I had a craving for a burger and a beer. The second I walked in I saw that they had Octoberfest on tap, and right away I knew I was going to like this place. We all ordered drinks and food. The waitresses was crazy short staffed. It was just her and a bartender. That would explain the wait times. It took a while for us to get our food order in but once we got it everyone was happy with their meal. I got the burger and it was really good. There was supposed to be mushrooms on it but I never saw or tasted them. Still really good though. I had a bite of Kim's Ruben and it was awesome. If we're in the neighborhood....we'll be back.

The Old Saloon consistently delivers high-quality meals with generous portions, making it a standout dining spot in the area. Having dined here frequently--especially for breakfast--I've never had a bad meal. The food is always fresh and served hot, and the coffee is just as it should be: strong and satisfying. Dinner is equally impressive, with a menu that offers everything from perfectly cooked steaks to flavorful burgers and chicken dishes. Each meal is prepared with care, showcasing both quality ingredients and skilled execution in the kitchen. Beyond the food, the service is excellent. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, and the kitchen clearly takes pride in their work. The combination of great food, welcoming hospitality, and a classic saloon atmosphere makes The Old Saloon a must-visit spot. Whether you're stopping in for breakfast, dinner, or just a drink, you're in for a great experience. Highly recommended.

Classic saloon (since 1902!) with killer food. Live music was playing as we pulled up and the service is friendly and timely. Food was fantastic, ate it too quickly to get a picture, but am looking forward to our next trip that direction.

What a unique cool and totally historical western bar, restaurant and concert venue. A real treat for us to stop in here. We were greeted and treated so well...brews were delish...tried the Ricky mountain oysters, chicken sandwich, burger and patty melt...we were all full and pleased with our menu choices. Lots to pick from. Great ambiance fills the walls...western charm!

    Festival!

We finally got to go inside and have a drink in this historic saloon. They offer a full service bar, and normally they serve food but the kitchen is closed Tuesday and Wednesday nights. They had a food truck outside, but we were looking for a full service meal. The bartender was nice and looks like they accommodate both locals and tourists. There are several big bands that come in and they get sold-out crowds of 2500! So check the schedule first.

Cool vibe. Fun place. Didn't get to stay for it, but looked like a great concert was being set up. The staff was very friendly.

Everything about this place was great!…read more We came in really hungry and had to wait for a little bit to get seated so we were staring at the bakery case and decided to get an everything cream cheese scone. That was the best tasting scone I've ever had! We started off with the garlic bread and it comes out on a pesto. It was toasted just right and has just a splash of balsamic glaze that added the best balance. Whole cloves of roasted garlic on there too! The chili, I can honestly say beat mine, and I make a damn good chili! Just the right amount of heat and the jalapeño cornbread added just the right texture. Bison strip in bourbon garlic sauce was the best meal I have had in a really long time. The vegetable served with it was perfectly cooked and fresh! I highly recommend trying this place you won't be disappointed!

Our waitress was very kind, provided great service & great recommendations! We had the FRITES & FONDUE for an appetizer, fries were great, the Parmesan was a nice touch and the fondue didn't have a lot of flavor. Our entrees were served hot, packed with flavor & the pasta was cooked al dente. We both loved the our entrees, as we continued our meal seeing all the other entrees going to tables we are excited to come back to try the vast options on the menu. The cheesecake was delicious & fresh we truly appreciate the quality & taste of desserts being made in house- you can tell the difference & it is absolutely worth it. We will be back, it may be over an hour drive for us but a drive well worth it.

Arrived at the end of happy hour, and…read moregot to enjoy some small plates from that menu, and stayed long enough to order a pasta to split from the dinner menu after. We started with the beet and burrata salad, which was full of yummy complimenting flavors and fun textures. I think it could have done without the yellow peppers but I just ate around those. The pepitas with the pistachio butter and beets were excellent, and the burrata added a creamy touch. We also tried the frites and fondue. The fries were thick and browned how I like them, but the fondue wasn't my favorite and was a little too overpowering in flavor for my taste. The parmesan on top of the fries was a nice touch. For beverages I had a local pale ale from Bridger brewing that was crisp and went well with the meal, and my partner tried the rotations shrub (peach), which she said was just okay. The star of the show was the arrabiata pasta made with vodka sauce and Calabrian chilis. The pasta was cooked perfectly Al dente and was well sauced, truly delicious. The ambiance is nice, and the service was fine. They checked on us frequently but not entirely friendly, maybe our waitress was having a bad day. The meal was a little on the pricier side but I felt the happy hour prices were fair. We would return when visiting Bozeman.
