Corned beef hash, rye toast, eggs over medium, and grilled tomatoes
    Jenny S.

Friendly service (especially for 7am!) and tasty breakfast with large portions. The biscuits and gravy were peppery (which is how I like them, but beware if you don't love spice) and the omelette was nice and fluffy. They had grilled tomatoes which was unusual and a nice surprise! The only bad thing was the coffee. Really didn't like the coffee: it was weak and tasted cheap. But the place was jumpin' on a Saturday morning! Nice little pit stop on our road trip.

Liver & Onions, sides of pickled beets (soooo yummy and sweet) and baked potato with a side of sour cream

So glad I happened upon this place as a pit stop on a road trip to Shenandoah. Cheery service, beyond tasty food (ESPECIALLY for the price), and a small-town, rugged cozy feel and aesthetic. I suggest the liver and onions for a full, satisfying meal, but my partner got the Rueben sammich which was MOUTHWATERING, with no shortage of cheese melting out the sides. Only comment is that they seem to have missed the two calendar turns since 2020, as they still have their "TRUMP 2020" signs up. If that kind of thing perturbs you, I'd recommend skipping this place, but I didn't mind, just thought it was humorous.

This is a fun little place that we found on a whim. The onion rings were out of this world. I also had a patty tuna melt the kids have cheeseburgers and pork chop . Everybody was more than happy with their meal with fresh bath was friendly I wish I had the time to stay stick around all day and have a few drinks some of the locals look like a lot of fun.

New year's eve prime rib special (fantastic! )

Love this place! Great staff and wonderful food! Always a perfect "go to" place It's right in Marshall off of exit 28 on I-66, quick and easy, yet sooooo yummy every time!

Owner/Chef Dane stopped by our table at the end of meal and was so delightful to talk with. I've been eyeing New Iberia Kitchen for a while now - as I love Cajun cuisine…read more I finally got to try some of their food on a Sunday. Apparently, currently the only day of the week they offer Brunch is on Sundays. I showed up about 11:00 am. The place was full of diners - so instead of waiting for a table, I sat at the bar. It's not a large bar - I'd say it seats approximately 9-10 people. I ordered the Boudin balls - which come with a tasty dipping sauce called "Swamp Mustard." I also ordered the Cajun Omelette - which is stuffed with "smushed Boudin balls." Comes with a side of rather unexciting breakfast potatoes. The Boudin balls were tasty - and had a nice crispy texture. The Swamp Mustard is really good with the balls. The Cajun Omelette was rather ho-hum - I was expecting and hoping for something with more complexity and heat. The smushed Boudin balls were rather bland. The Omelette was cooked properly. The breakfast potatoes were unseasoned. I'd like to try out some other menu items - I'm hoping for something that will Wow me. Paid with Apple Pay. #NewIberiaKitchen

The Plantanos (fried plantains), delicious. The Boudin ball? It was okay. But everything else? chef's kiss. Pro tip: Don't skip the Quinoa Salata (tri-color quinoa, cucumber, tomato, feta, red onion vinaigrette). It's like a fresh garden party in your mouth. And if you're lucky enough to be there on someone's birthday, you might score a free Ube bread pudding--delicious! Not an intense Ube flavor, but still a sweet, satisfying finale that'll make your taste buds do a little happy dance. The vibe is pure small-town magic--dining in the heart of rural hospitality. Service? Warm and welcoming. Ambiance? Charming enough to make you forget you're basically in the middle of nowhere. Would I drive back through the countryside just to eat here again? Absolutely. New Iberia Kitchen, you've officially stolen a piece of my foodie heart. Bon appétit, fellow wandering eaters!

The actual restaurant feels massive but decorated in a rustic way. I want to give a huge shout out to Alicia. She is such a knowledgeable, approachable, and receptive server. She was on top of refilling drinks, making sure we weren't left alone for too long when we were waiting for our food to come, and just had an overall amazing energy. While we really enjoy all of the servers we've had at Mikes, Alicia takes the cake. If there's any way to provide her with recognition, I would highly vouch for it. She could sell me anything on that menu with that kind of personality! Thank you, Alicia! I'm going to make sure we try to get seated at your table again.

Since the reservation form asked if we were celebrating anything, I hoped we would be placed in a special area or at least somewhere more intimate. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We were led up a staircase, which offered a cool view of the environment, but ended up at a small table in a small high traffic area. Initially, we thought it was a unique experience because of the restaurant's interior design, but we soon realized it was going to be uncomfortable...because heat rises and we were stuck upstairs with so many other people who seemed just as warm as us. It was excessively hot, and I found myself fanning myself with one of the menus at the table. While our server was probably trying his best, the service left much to be desired. We were eager to leave as soon as we arrived. After ordering and enjoying what we could of our meals, which were quite good, we just wanted to leave. However, our server was absent for a long time, leaving us stuck at the table. Instead of being a cute little anniversary dinner, it just turned out to be a disappointing experience at a new restaurant
