Simply amazing!! I don't often leave reviews unless I have something either really positive or really negative to say, so the folks at Orleans Market and Pub were outstanding and truly went above and beyond with their level of service, quality, packaging, presentation and plating. My wife had been a bit under the weather going into Mother's Day weekend, so we opted to have the whole Sunday brunch catered. From the initial contact, helping us decide the menu, invoicing and payment, pick up scheduling and finally consumption, it was a flawless experience. Even the way they packaged the individual poached eggs so that we could assemble our own eggs Benedict showed the hugest level of care ans attention to detail. We are now planning on ordering a weekly Niçoise salad tray as well the upcoming Father's Day brunch! We cannot wait to have a dine in experience! read more

Ambiance and live music 5 stars. Food must give 2 stars. Small selection would have been easy to do well but wasn't Service was wonderful but its a beautiful trip to a nice location for a burger and quesadilla with little filling and everything had a crab smell although we didn't order any. Hope it was an off night would love to return read more

Once again, I tried to stop here and there's no ventilation my clothes stink from the cooking. Nothing has a price on it, and the person that was helping me decided to take the man in front of me just because he was standing at the counter, even though she was helping me buy something. They just can't get it together. read more

Neat little place to stop at for a bite to eat and a drink. They have a decent selection of items on the menu. We grabbed a few drinks and ordered a brisket sandwich with coleslaw and some chicken salad. The service was great when ordering the food and at the bar. The brisket was good but we weren't fans of the coleslaw or chicken salad. It wasn't the worst I have ever had but I wouldn't get it again. There are several seating options both inside and outside and we really liked the decor. The view from the parking lot is amazing. We would definitely stop back in if we are in the area. read more

Tonight was our first time here and we came to try out the special Valentine's Day dinner menu. The staff was very welcoming and made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. Our table was ready marked reserved w/sparkling waters awaiting us. Our starter salads came out first. The salad was so delicious and fresh. Our main course quickly followed, a juicy perfectly cooked T-bone steak for my husband and tasty chicken cordon bleu for me. It was sooo delicious and our plates were empty in a matter of seconds. I'm still thinking about the sauces mmmm! Last but not least we got the freshest chocolate covered strawberries I have ever had and a smooth buttery Creme brûlée that was to die for. My only complaint is that I didn't order something to go for later. Thank you for an amazing Valentine's Day dinner. We can't wait to come back here again! read more

Ordered their Jalapeno Cheddar Burger. I said add ketchup, mustard, and onions. Looked at my receipt. They charged me 55c for onions, no biggie. But I was banged 25c for ketchup and 25c for mustard. Both were on the table. I ordered at the counter. The cashier should have mentioned it. Or, maybe they shouldn't charge for normally free condiments when they're also sitting on the table? Good burger, but I won't be back. read more

Everything. The food and service is just not good. Can't even make a decent hamburger. Save your money - seriously

I was heading back home after visiting a winery and decided to go a different route than the way I came in - for exploration purposes - when I came across The Orlean Market. Being somewhat hungry, I ventured in to see what potential food glories were contained within. They have a small Deli area - you can get breakfast sandwiches as well as traditional lunch sandwiches. I ordered something I've not had in a very long time - a Bologna sandwich! On a nice Rye bread with cheddar, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onion. I got it to go and ate in the car. While this might seem like a mundane sandwich to order - it was really good and hit the spot! This is also a small convenience store - so you can get basic food staples here: canned goods, chips, milk, soda, water, and more. The young lady working the counter was very nice and friendly. The one thing I will ding them for is their restroom - it had a strong mildew odor. read more

Not a good experience the last few visited. So disappointing. I love the ambience. Good was cold. They let it get cold since they marked it "carry out" twice in a row, even though they never asked if we were eating in. So much potential. Sad. read more

Went to a favorite restaurant tonight Orlean Market. Ordered a personal pizza with double cheese and double pepperoni. Got it and the dough was raw. The bottom didn't have any color, and it looked like a normal pepperoni pizza. I ate one piece and felt a little grossed out. Left the rest and by the time the server came back, (drinks were long empty) she apologized and asked if we wanted it cooked more. I told her I was not interested and just take it back. She said she would take it off the bill. So, she came back with the bill and the pizza was still on it. My wife asked why, and she said that it was not cooked because I added too many toppings.... I was a frequent patron of this place but I'll find another that has better business decisions. I added a pic of the double pepperoni. Pretty sad especially if you look on their page, it shows a pepperoni pizza with way more pepperoni than mine did. read more

The first thing that you recognize when you go to this place is how it makes you feel . The Orlean Market and Pub has a very healing and calm energy. The people all have a village mindset that reverberates from ownership, through the service, and all the way down to the patrons . It is very difficult to put into words exactly the aura of this place. Sometimes I go just watch the sunset. It's very relaxing and it's a place that you can take your family to and know that they're in a safe environment. The food is served in very good portions in comparison to pricing and it's delicious. You can get everything from grilled cheese and fries to lambchops. I promise you that you will leave excited about going back. The live entertainment is great as well. I've been blessed to meet some really amazing people at this venue and I guarantee that you will also. Don't miss out on a great experience!!!! read more

Quaint and enchanting establishment. Everyone is family. Great place to hang out and have a great meal.

Delicious turkey Reubens!! Excellent service and atmosphere!

One summer a long time ago, a pony named Boomer took four of his buddies on a 3 mile hike to the Orlean Market. They didn't need people.. Boomer was the boss. That's how wonderful the Orlean Market is. The owners of the store saw that the mischievous four-legged group made it home safely. Today, the Orlean Market returned my client's wallet all the way to his front door, which he'd dropped inside the store by accident. The fine folks at the Orlean Market are a class act. Not only do we approve, the Orlean Market is 'Boomer Approved'! read more

I should preface with we haven't been in a while. This market/pub has lot of potential but seems to be plagued with lack of staff. The last time we had dinner there, our meal took forever (almost an hour) and arrived stone cold. When an establishment is charging premium prices for entrees, the service needs to be top notch. The market is handy for those living close by but check the expiration dates on refrigerated items! We have found many items past their expiration date. We believe in supporting local businesses so will go back and give them yet another chance. Stay tuned! read more

A great little jewel tucked into the Virginia Piedmont countryside. Good people, good, food, and good entertainment.

Okay at best. Not sure why I keep hoping to find a good, fairly priced place to eat in Virginia, but this is probably not it. Cute, quaint, whatever, but the food is mediocre at best. $9.00 for the Brisket sandwich, no sides. The sandwich itself was just bigger than a slider. Left hungry, of course. read more

Awesome people! Amazing food. Great place to hang out and chill. Can't ask for a better store in our little town.

It's difficult to find the words to describe just how terrible the food at the Orlean Market is! After years of not patronizing it, we called to order a pizza yesterday for dinner. Was told they are out of large pizzas --- was not offered 2 small pizzas for the price of a large, which would have been the logical thing to do...Crust was similar to cardboard - although cardboard might be better - toppings were stingy (to put it mildly) and green pepper was completely raw, seemingly throw on after cooking. Two small pizzas with 3 toppings for the outrageous price of $34.00. Sure won't be back. read more

Sunday brunch at Orlean Market was lovely. Food was great, staff were friendly and helpful, and the weather was perfect to enjoy sitting on their deck. New ownership making all the right moves. Menu options have become more diverse but weekend dinner fare continues to be stellar! Music Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights along with a good draft beer selection make OM a perfect evening hangout. Service has improved dramatically as has general organization and atmosphere. New bar area looking good, and patio clientele are fun, welcoming, and not afraid to tip a few! Full blown abc license would be cool. In the middle of no where and the only game in town yet keep driving! This place has lousy food expensive prices. Don't Stop!

We just had a fabulous lunch at Orlean Market. I had seen a photo on the Roadfood Instagram account and was intrigued by this little town (or "town") nearby that I'd never heard of. A beautiful hour's drive from Fairfax was enjoyable, but the delicious sandwiches were the highlight. They have a small menu of sandwiches (and a good selection of burger choices), but we ordered two of today's specials: I had a pork belly sandwich with Sriracha and homemade pickles on a French baguette. Delicious! My husband had a simple lamb sandwich, which turned out to be some of the best lamb I've ever had--and my family is Greek! Both the pork belly and lamb were from local farms. The owners are delightful and the restaurant and market are both attractive and comfortable. I look forward to returning for dinner, or for one of their regular events: a wine dinner once a month and a last-Friday of the month Community Jam. Great place for lunch and I can't wait to return for dinner. I believe they have a Sunday brunch, but some events and hours are seasonal, so you'll want to check before heading out there. read more

Great place for a quick Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner. Had breakfast last Sunday. The Sunrise Special has 2 eggs cooked how you like, choice of meat, and fresh potatoes as hash browns. You can choose your own drink from the large cooler in the market. Or if you want coffee, there is a self service coffee area. I've also been here for lunch. The steak and cheese sandwich is very good. There is large selection of deli sandwiches, different burgers, soups, pasta & veggie salads. There is fresh deli to buy by the pound as well. I am looking forward to warmer weather so we can have a bottle of wine on the outside patio with some friends. Great little place if you're ever near Orlean. It's a 15-20minute drive from Warrenton. There is also a gas station. read more

Do not bother eating here! Food is mediocre to terrible. Cleanliness is non existent. Staff or lack of staff is rude and really could care less if you eat there or not. Really neat little market in the heart of Orlean. They have a restaurant attached, but I haven't eaten there yet. The market side offers coolers with drinks, including wine & beer. They sell snacky foods like chips & stuff, but they also have an awesome setup for breakfast. This is where I've eaten many times and it is SO good! I get the bacon, egg, & cheese on wheat and it's awesome every time. They also offer the sandwich with different meats: country ham, spam, scrapple, sausage, etc. They have a lot of options for breakfast - you can't go wrong! read more

Had the good fortune last evening to attend an Italian wine pairing dinner prepared by Chef Nick Forlano, he didn't disappoint. All 5 courses were classic Nick at his best. If you've had his food before then you're familiar with the simple approach to using great ingredients and letting them speak for themselves. The gnocchi is still calling my name and the bolognese could've been served by the gallon, damn it was delicious. Orlean Markets trajectory is on the rise culinarily with Chef Nick at the helm. Definitely make the trip to this little gem. read more

A great place to stop for a "sammich" while in BEAUTIFUL wine & horse country! They always have a great, fresh selection of salads to acompany their sandwhiches and entrées. I hate that people will only take time out of their day to be negative about businesses, so I am taking time out of my day to be positive because the Orlean Market staff more than deserves it! After a long day of hiking, my friends and I just wanted good food, cold beer and a nice patio to sit on. We were told to go to Orlean Market. Staff - EVERY staff member was SUPER friendly and SUPER helpful! Everyone had a smile on their face and accommodated our every need! Food - All four of us LOVED our food! The tuna melt - amazing; the fish tacos - amazing; the breakfast burger - amazing & the prime rib cheese steak - amazing. Everything was delicious!!! (Not to mention there was barely a wait for us to get our food!) Beer- Cold and reasonably priced! Patio - Gorgeous! If you love the small town feel - this place is for you! The patio is beautifully decorated and very clean. The manager told us there is live music there on weekends and open mic night on Wednesdays. I am sure you can contact them for more info and they would be more than happy to help you! Seriously everyone - even if you don't live close to Orlean Market, it is worth the drive! I've ridden my motorcycle several times from the town of Harpers Ferry WV just to have a pulled pork sandwich for lunch here. I take back roads and it's a lovely ride.
