I think they do pretty good. For a small country store in the middle of no where they have a good pic of needed items. Worth the stop!

The wine itself was just okay for me, but the tasting room was modern and had a pretty view, which made the experience enjoyable overall. We had a good time here, and while the wine wasn't a standout for me, the atmosphere and vibe definitely were.

This was one of the few in the area that offered other menu items such as sandwiches, baked brie, hummus, brunch items, etc. I had my dog with me so this place is perfect because they are super dog friendly! My dog was even allowed to go inside the tasting room with me! When we first walked in we were greeted by two very lovely ladies (and a cat!). They were both super kind and friendly and made sure we felt welcome with my dog inside too. My mom and I didn't plan on staying long as this was our last stop of the day and we were pretty far out from my home so we skipped a tasting and ordered a glass of their spiced cider sangria, which we both loved! Then we ordered the baked brie, which was served with apple butter and crackers, as well as the caprese sandwich. Both were delicious! We sat outside on the deck where it was quiet and peaceful. Views were nice. If I am ever out in the area I'd go back!

Late Aug, 2025. My husband and I travel occasionally between Louisa County and Winchester on US-50,…read morewith this Sheetz in Boyce, VA being a favorite rest stop -- given their good prices on gas, tasty coffee, and clean restrooms. While we don't usually order from their MTO (Made to Order) food options, we did this time because we reached around 12:30 pm and were hungry. They were offering a special $5 Hot Dog Meal -- which included two hot dogs (usually $10), 4 chicken nuggets (usually $2.79), and a bag of Fryz (usually $2.79). We balanced this with a Spicy Caesar Salad ($8.99), which contained romaine lettuce, a spicy chicken patty, croutons, Parmesan cheese, and Caesar dressing. With tax, our meals cost $15.30. Overall, our ratings for this visit to Sheetz were: *Gas (4.5/5) for ease of accessing and using the pumps; gas price. *Restroom cleanliness (4.5/5). *MTO experience: (3/5) for ease of ordering at kiosk, paying for ordered items, and interaction with MTO staff/speed/etc. It was rather confusing to order at one kiosk and then have to pay at another register, and there were lines for both. Rewardz card didn't register our food purchase. *Food Quality. (3/5). We had mixed feelings about the food. Hot dogs were rather small, and the small bag of fries was only partially full. Neither the nuggets nor spicy chicken patty on the salad had much taste or texture though the latter did have a bit of a kick from the cayenne spice. Salad was okay but overpriced given the price point and size. Hot dogs meal was a good value. We would probably order grilled chicken next time. *Rewardz program. (2/5). My husband is a member of the Rewardz program that gives a 3-cents/gallon discount on gas, and points towards food items when you purchase items in-store or online. While we appreciate the savings on gas, but it's unfortunate that payments at the pump don't count towards earned Pointz, and the bar is set too high to be able to earn any of the Rewardz.

I am a Sheetz fan myself, so I really like this, sadly, they were out of the honeycrisp drink they had, which I really liked, and I was excited for that, My drink, very great, very pepperminty, but that's because I ordered the mocha latte with peppermint, very good, food was done preparing fairly quickly, a lot faster than what I thought for what I ordered, the service, for the cashier was absolutely amazing, she had a fun time joking around with me, amazing! Food was absolutely amazing, I love the cheese bites, everything that I ordered was in the bag, had an absolutely great time, definitely recommended

They have a barrier up so you can't get out of line. I got to the window. ( I ordered an ice coffee.) I waited at the window for 6 minutes before my Iced coffee was ready. My cashier put a trash bag in the trash can instead of going to get my ice coffee. She waited for someone else to bring it over. Why would she just not go get it herself? I was late to work. This is every single time I have ever tried to get coffee before work. I have even placed online orders for this same store and I will go inside and wait and wait. Completely unacceptable! They should at least move the barrier so people won't be late for work when waiting a long time in the drive thru line!

Friendly neighborhood store... apparently not. I live a mile from this store and had come to use…read morethem for all of our last-minute, "emergency" provisions as well as regular purchases. Noticing it was almost 10pm (posted closing time on their door) and realizing I needed to buy cigarettes, I grabbed my keys, jumped in my car and hurried the mile up the road. I pulled in at 9:58 and my car clock is a minute fast, whew, made it! As I was walking, the maybe 6 steps to the front door, (I was just about to reach for the front door) the lady on duty, shut the door in my face! She gave no, sorry we're closed body language, didn't point at her wrist (indicating it's closing time), nothing. Just a cold, rude, door in my face. Ideally, had she said, sorry hun (seems to be used by the majority of older ladies in this area) but I just counted and closed out my register or I powered down the POS device and can't run your card, I would have politely said ok thanks, realized it was my own fault for not going sooner and gone to another store. To treat your neighbor by closing the door in their face is NOT the service I expect or give if it was my establishment. I wasn't going there to browse or do my weekly grocery shopping, I needed a couple of packs of smokes and could have been in and out in a minute or two - so she could have still closed at 10. We spend several hundred dollars there monthly. Considering it's a small, local business I would think they would take (and appreciate) all the local customers they could. They're not the only game in town though and the other country store a little further from my house (yet more conveniently located as I pass it to and from work everyday) just got themselves a new regular, local customer. So, SFG, when you tally your receipts and wonder why it is now $100+ lighter every week than it had been, you can thank the grumpy, mean, old librarian-looking employee for shutting the door in the face of a local, regular customer (until tonight) and neighbor. If you or your employees don't have a minute for your neighbors then you're not the type of establishment I want to support or frequent and won't any longer.
