is it me or does this place seem a little racist to you???? i've only been here twice and have had such an off experience. it's a little triggering to be honest. the first time, i was like 'ohh' and 'ahh' at all the sale they had going on. i'm on facetime with my husband asking which one is cute, going back and forth as a normal girl shopping would and i don't know, i felt eyes on me heavy. even right when i walked in, it was just the vibe they were all giving that day. i got a bunch of things for myself, my husband and my baby. went to ring out and at least the cashier i had was the only one who seemed Ookay. because there was a guy cashier who finished first and he just ignored me- the only person in line and went to folding other clothes near him completely ignoring me. i peeped it! so i was patient and just waited til the other girl was done. annnddd ofc i check out, get to the door and she left a security thing on there so the alarms going off. i already felt so uncomfortable in there and to make it worse, a yt couple walked past me and said 'oooo she's stealing.' i literally felt so embarrassed and i truly feel like it was a set up to this day because again i felt like i was weirdly being watched. i handed the lady near the door my bag and she was going through my things, found the security thing, got it off and just handed it back. okay, cool. months later, my second time coming in, kind of same thing. just a weird vibe in there. went to checkout and found some things on clearance with my husband, he checked out but we came home and i noticed the lady still charged us all for the regular price and not the sale price... it was right there on a big orange sticker! and i remember she gave weird energy too when checking out! i'm like dang old navy, are you guys good??? sure my husband should've caught it while she was ringing it up but it was just one of those things , iykyk. i don't like this spot read more

Pilar was absolutely amazing! We came in with family visiting from out of town who were hoping to find flag shirts as souvenirs. Even though it was the 4th of July, Pilar went above and beyond searching the entire store for us. She was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely sweet. She even tracked down a specific jacket that was sold out everywhere--and somehow found it in the exact size we needed. Exceptional service like this will definitely keep us coming back! read more

I've been shopping here for years. The staff knows me and I enjoy this location which goes out of their way to help. Stores clean and organized. The store managers awesome you will see him folding , clothes helping at the register and always with a smile on his face. You don't see that a lot from higher management. read more

The service at this store is amazing- always a greeter and air conditioner is usually going strong! The clothing is arranged in an attractive way and sales staff ( whom I have encountered) are always helpful!! Yesterday, the salesperson checking us out was Odette and she was everything you'd want in a staff member- not sure why this store in particular is such a great team and face for Old Navy brand! The only thing (to me) that lessens the look of the store, are the candy and Knick Knacks and jewelry aisle lining the Way to the checkout! I can totally see it must bring in a lot of spontaneous revenue as parents with children grab items while they wait- but it does bring the overall 'tone' of the store down! Not a bad Old Navy but the day I came in to buy some pants, they were under staffed. I could not find anyone one the floor to help me with a questions, so I had to go to the counter where the lines were curling around the counter. I eventually did get me answer there but I had to annoy some patrons that were waiting in line. Anyways, I hope they get that figured out. Like I said, I came in to buy some pants, jeans, and they happen to be on sale for $18. They had to color and size for one type I wanted, but the other color in my size was out of stock. They found the pants at another store and that was nice of them to check on. They had a lot of nice items on sale but I was determined to only purchase what I came in for and that was what I did, but I will admit I did browse for a while. By the way, the Old Navy Regular Straight leg jeans are quite comfy. read more

I'm flying out to Kansas tomorrow and needed some winter wear. I stopped in Dicks and grabbed some winter wear then decided to go to Old Navy next door for some cheap extras. I revived some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life! They followed me around the store like I was going to steal something. I stopped in the dressing room to try on a sweater and jacket. I had my Dicks bag and they asked for it. Now this could have been standard but considering they were following me around and did not want to help me find the sizes I needed. I don't believe that was the case! I'll never shop at this Old navy again. I feel like this had to do everything to do with my race and that wasn't okay! read more

I came to this location to check out their jewelry section and I asked them where is their jewelry because the Mission Valley store has many different rounders of silver and gold jewelry a new brands that they started to carry that's really beautiful but this particular location Doesn't Sell the Jewelry. I was also looking for Rayon Dresses but have a little bit of a sleeve I couldn't find anything at all they didn't have any Rayon Dresses in the store that had a little bit of a sleeve They have a pretty decent selection of pants and then they throw one wild print pants in the one with lobsters on it and then all the other colors are muted except for some Lobster printed pants..... it's really bizarre that the company would let this wild print come in and not have it infused through the store what I mean is they should really open up and have a better selection I think what Old Navy is really in need of are Better "buyers" And if they're buying all the clothes out of China at least they should have them designed in the United States first instead of letting the Chinese design our American clothing for our American citizens..... what I mean is give some Americans some jobs in designing clothing that suits the American lifestyle and our weather etc etc and then if they have to have another country put it together then that's fine as long as it's designed in America. Over the years with all the stores having all the clothing come from other countries it's just not right I have to go to the mall and to different stores dozens of times before I might find one item that is nice and attractive that I want to buy, again because what I'm saying is these other countries design the clothing and it's just not what it used to be we used to have such a better selection here in America.... read more

I came shopping at Old Navy to use my $10.00 free voucher if you have an Old Navy Visa card. In return if you shop at Old Navy, they give you cash back. Great rewards for using your card. As I entered this location, I saw jeans for sale at 50% off the tags. Great deal. The store had lots to chose from. I like shopping for jeans and shorts here. I got 3 pairs of shorts and a jean jacket for my daughter. I used my $10.00 and saved half of my total savings. Not bad. Great deals throughout the store. This store was very neat and clean. Very organized. Clothes were easy to find. They sell clothes for kids, men and women. There were two cashiers up front which made the line go faster. No long wait. I really like this location. I always enjoyed shopping at the big Old Navy located in Mission Valley. The selection was great and the location was convenient. But now that this new Old Navy has opened it's doors on Sports Arena Blvd., I have to give it 5 YELP STARS just for being so darn close by. I noticed that the Sports Arena Old Navy debuted here at the tail end of October 2015 and was finished just in time for holiday shoppers to clamor in and shop for Christmas. It and it's next door sister store, Forever 21, make for a nice retail combo sandwiched between a Super Target and a very busy Home Depot--right across the street from the Valley View Casino Center. I was looking for some workout clothes for myself. Count on Old Navy for reasonable pricing and attractive styles. When my son was young and growing so fast, I made every effort to buy his clothes at Old Navy because they do not cost an arm-and-a-leg & look cool too. I liked this Old Navy, it was orderly and clean! Lots of options and as always great pricing and always a sale! I was a little confused by some of the pricing. I picked up a tank that the large sign said $6, but when i took to cashier - i was told i had to purchase 3 to get that price. It is laid out very well, nice selection in women's, mens and children/ babies! Was able to pickup baby shorts that were $8+ for $4 and a nice shirt for $8 in women's. I appreciate the value. This one is in a location that is close to Target and Dicks Sporting Goods and the parking is quite ample. Line wasn't too long, but having only one cashier with even 3 people online was a little frustrating. read more

Good Customer Service, only thing is; I don't like is their extremely confusing SALE SIGNS. Please work on making them more clear on what is on sale and what is not. I've had two bad experiences now. 1) they didn't give me the discount, I had to show her and then she fixed. 2) second time, I ended up buying something for 3x what I thought it was, due to a convoluted/ misleading sale sign. I love this store and the Mission Valley one. There were many deals and bargains before, during, and After Christmas and they had things organized and folded well. I was looking for a rain jacket. Asked two employees if they had any, but they didn't know. I bought an umbrella instead.

So I checked this Old Navy out today. First thing I noticed was there was not one single female employee out on the floor. Every person on the floor were guys, which is no big deal, but what made a huge impression to me was that all the staff were very snobby, and not happy to be dealing with customers. None of the staff welcomed any customers, no smiling at all. There was no one at the fitting room either. I didn't even get a 'hi' when I finally got to the cash register, nor did I get a 'thank you' at the end of the transaction. This was a bummer Old Navy store ... They got two stars from me ONLY because of the good sale. But since the sales are the same at other Old Navy stores, I'll be going to the Mission Valley store instead. I was very disappointed in the management of this specific Old Navy..... But on a good note, the Forever 21 next door is AWESOME!! :) read more

WARNING! DO NOT leave your car in this shopping center parking lot alone for more than 30 minutes. We had never been here before and shopped for a couple hours with family, on a Saturday night. Apparently there was a sports event across the street and our car was towed. How does the towing company know which cars are parked for shopping and those who are not using the event parking? They don't. The towing charge was $352. In reading other reviews of WESTERN TOWING [(619) 297-8697], they are well known for illegally towing cars and then afterward they leave a sign in the lot with their contact information on it. Again, DO NOT leave your car in the lot if there may be an event going on close by. read more

I went here on a Saturday in December around 5:30 figuring it would be busy given the weekend and the time of year and it wasn't that bad. I had to do a ton of online returns and I only waited maybe 3 minutes to get brought up. The cashier was probably one of the fastest returners I have ever met considering it was such a large order. Never left a yelp review and had to leave one here. I'm a regular customer at this location. I hadn't even turned the corner to walk out before what appeared to be the MANAGER at the time started gossiping about me as I walked away. Future advice- wait for your paying customers to leave your store before you start talking shit about them. As a manager for one of the busiest Starbucks drive thrus in San Diego, I know what customer service skills are, and she was seriously lacking. This location is above average considering most Old Navy stores are usually a mess. The staff are ok, never had a bad experience but it seems like they should have a few more staff on the floor during peak times. The merchandise and selection is good, most sizes of every item is available. The store is very clean and usually as organized as an Old Navy store can be.
