Creations is a cool boutique on Newport in OB. We were stolling along when something on the sidewalk dispay caught our friend's eye. We stopped so she could check it out. She found a really cute vest and bought it. They were having a BOGO sale too, so that was a plus. Also the bag that they put her purchases in was really cool. Becky found a few things she liked, but ended up talking a pass. Perhaps next time in OB. The store is doesn't look that big from the outside, but is quite large on the inside. This is the easiest 5 star review I could make. I don't normally leave reviews for places, but I was so blown away by the customer service at Creations that I feel obligated to share. My girlfriend and I stopped by Creations Boutique when we were visiting Ocean Beach. She was instantly drawn to their unique clothing and styles, and probably would have bought one of everything in the store if she was able to. The staff at the store was very inviting and helped her find exactly what she was looking for. She had bought a couple of items, including a dress that she absolutely adored (it instantly became her new favorite), and we planned on going back to get her a few more items. Unfortunately we ended up not having time to return to Creations on our short weekend visit to the area. There was one dress in particular that she really wanted, and I was having a difficult time finding it on their website. I called the store and Desi was so quick and eager to help me out. She took the time to send me pictures of the dress I described to make sure it was the correct one. She also helped me pick out another item, again with pictures included. She went out of her way to take these items to the post office personally to send to me. She was nothing but pleasant and incredibly helpful. I really don't remember the last time I was this blown away by customer service. Clothing and dresses are not my area of expertise by any means, but Desi was super helpful in making sure I found the right style and fit. Whenever we visit Ocean Beach again we will surely be stopping at Creations, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique style and great shopping experience. 10/10 read more

This place has a wide selection of hippie and beachy clothes. It is however very overpriced. I understand the reason why. The styles are unique and hard to find. The fabric though is very thin and see through. Also, majority are designed for super tall people and wouldn't fit unless I hem them. Overall if you are a tourist in the area, I highly recommend a visit. It's also surrounded by plenty of other shops that are fun to visit for the San Diego experience. read more

Update: sadly this store is boasting Grand Opening which means its not the same as before. No great deals, little inventory, wont return as they expect you to pay full price for Angie clothes that arent worth more than the 10-15 they used to charge. Sad. Some really good deals but you have to try on loads of clothes to find something that fits. Sizes are super inconsistent. Dust and hairballs on the floor, counters of the fitting rooms and even some of the clothes. Would get some stars if it was clean read more

Wonderful vibe in this store! Everyone is genuinely nice friendly and warm here. Lovely decor theme of rustic wooden triangle structures creatively incorporated into jewelry and clothing displays, wall framings and sunglasses stand. Even the dressing rooms are made of wood. The fashion tends towards trendy bohemian and includes a lot of flowy floral sundresses, flowy cardigans, cute yoga gear, and soft tassel accessories. They also have an extensive sunglasses selection. I came right at their Winter sale, which was a whopping 50% off everything but intimates and yoga stuff. Perfect for the beautiful velour top I fell in love with. As a frosting on the cake bonus, they give you your purchase in an adorable, reusable tote bag, that also lists all their locations on it. read more

Seriously exceptional service. The manager if so attentive , beyond what I'd expected. She makes your shopping experience so fun, like shopping with a girlfriend of years. I also love the fact that this is a local family business. All of the clothes are made in India, and they're just beautiful prints and quality at ridiculously good prices. This is my FAV boutique to shop at for many reasons. 1. The employees- managers, are always ready to help and have a super positive attitude. 2. The store is always organized and freshly updated with their new arrivals. Pieces that have been in the store for a while are shown in different ways to wear on their displays. (I shop here at least once a month) 3. Every piece I purchase from this store is unique and I AWLAYS get asked where I bought my outfit. The place looked cute from the outside but upon roaming around everything was the same brand and similar. No diversity at all. I roamed around for over 30 minutes, was never greeted or acknowledged. Finally upon checkout still no interaction. Very uncomfortable and couldn't wait to GET OUT!!! Won't be back P/s I was in on a Wednesday in OFFSEASON at 1 pm, 3 girls working..... bad customer service read more

Cute little boutique in the heart of OB. Fits the OB vibe to a t. The decor inside is very cool, consists of handmade wood displays and metal pipe fixtures. Girlfriend got a lot of great deals on some really cute clothes, I even got a cool hat with a cactus on it! Definitely keeping this place in mind when her birthday rolls around. read more

I love this store so much. I don't live in San Diego but always stop by when I visit. They have a GREAT selection for people of all sizes, and super reasonable prices; the clearance racks are usually full! Clothes are comfortable, fun, bohemian. Manager here is super friendly and even kept the store open late on a Wednesday night (day of the Ocean Beach street fair, highly recommend going if you can) to let me try on more clothes. Oh, and they give you a nice, reusable tote bag with your purchase. read more

Overpriced store trying to be a boutique, but not. Most of their clothes are the brand "Angie", which are actually really cheap quality clothes made in India that fall apart after a few washings. The seams are very poorly sewn. They had some cute cotton shorts and some cute imitation jewelry, but all very overpriced. Employees were annoying. The heavy set woman with short blue hair kept looking at me suspiciously like she thought I was about to steal something, and circling around me. My friend tried on some clothes, and when she found a top she liked, the skinny blond girl took it and put it up at the counter, I guess because they thought my friend might steal it! Wow, I will not be back here again. All the clothes here can be found on Amazon, just search for "Angie" clothes and you won't have to deal with these paranoid employees. read more

Found this place back in Nov. 2017 when it first opened, and I must say they have really good sales. Plus the store is very cool, neat and clean inside. I love the clothing! I have only been in there twice but I found some really cute clothes, I did receive their free recyclable tote bag which comes with your purchase, not sure if this will always be something they do bag wise. The staff was great, this store is definitely a great asset to OB for boutique shopping. They carry the clothing line "ANGIE" and have a wide variety of this brand. read more

I wanted to give a quick high five to Mariaeva, Liz and Nicolette for AMAZING customer service.They helped me find exactly what I needed, treated me like family, and went above and beyond to help me shop safely during the quarantine. The clothes at Creations are so unique and lovely with a great romantic style, and it's truly a boutique shopping experience - they have many hard to find pieces available in plus sizes as well, and their sale rack is truly amazing. They also have a rack of clothing in the shop, and usually a sale rack outside. I have bought a couple of tops and a cute shawl there in the past, but since the selection is so small, I often don't find any clothing that either is my size or style. I think it is a great shop to browse and find something unecspected. As it is very small, the times I went looking for something more specific for gifts, it has been a bit hit or miss. Their stock varies over time and you may or may not luck out. All in all, if you are shopping or eating on Adams, go check it out. It's really fun to browse and you may find something you like.
