I'm extremely disappointed with the way my teens were treated during our visit to Liberty Station Public Market on March 28th, around 7 PM. While we were waiting for our food, my boys briefly stepped into Nobelrags. As they were leaving, the employee stopped them and accused them of possibly taking a chain. My son immediately turned out his pockets per her request, when she didn't find anything there, she then asked him to show the front pocket of his hoodie as well. After finding nothing, she simply said "sorry." This situation made my children feel singled out, uncomfortable, and embarrassed. No child should be made to feel like a suspect without cause, especially when they were doing nothing wrong and were fully cooperative. What could have been a normal family outing turned into an upsetting experience for them, and it affected the rest of our time there. I hope the business takes this seriously and provides better training on how to approach situations like this with respect and professionalism. read more

Happened upon this shop with the bestie this Monday evening. The quality of the sweaters out on the rack were pretty impressive, and we loved the styles overall. The rudeness we experienced? Not so cute. We perused around a little more and neither of the ladies working greeted us or offered any help. Mind you, it's a tiny space. On our trip to San Diego last May, my fiancé and I stopped at Liberty Market, and I did some shopping. I found a hamsa ring at Nobelrags that I knew my sister would love, so I bought it for her for her birthday. She loved it, but the very night first night she wore it out, the gem in the center fell out. I messaged the owner of Nobelrags on Yelp soon after to see about getting a replacement. She did respond, and after some back and forth and sending photos to prove that the gem was missing, she agreed to send a one-time replacement. In the meantime, I also ended up getting texts from her husband about the situation, he was very friendly and helpful, but it was a little confusing to be talking with both of them...I think it just slowed down the process and I did have to check in a couple times to keep it going. Long story short, I was told my replacement would be shipped in 2-4 weeks, that was in July and still no ring... I followed up in September and never got a reply. Usually I don't write a lot of bad reviews and feel kinda bad doing so, but this was disappointing!! read more

The owner was there stocking items and we able to ask questions about how she picked the items she did, how long she's been in Liberty Station( less than a month) and if she had locations anywhere else. Noblerags is a small booth, but we managed to spend more than an hour in there talking and shopping. I picked up 3 beautiful silver bangle bracelets with quotes inscribed on them as well as earrings and a beautiful scarf. If you're around this area, I'd recommend stopping in here! read more

Every visit to Liberty Station ends with a great buy whether it's food or not. Did I originally I tend to buy so much jewelry, nope. Thanks to Courtney's sweet and sensible taste, she introduced different bracelets but I also was happy that what caught my eye also grabbed her. This store has a cute selection of clothing and accessories. I love that it is locally owned and participates in philanthropy. However, the vendors are hit or miss as stated by the owner. I wish they had the ability to vet their vendors before selling subpar products. I would rather have know that the sterling silver necklace I purchased was to go towards a donation instead of being led to believe my money was going to a true sterling silver product and then being disappointed when it stained my skin brown within 24hrs. After 12 hours, the necklace started turning a brass color and marking my skin green. I reached out to their contact to ask for a refund, or just simply an apology. I would leave no stars, as this place is unethical and very unprofessional. The sales lady demeanor is totally unexpected as she tries to force sales though intimidations and guilt. This experience of shopping was not pleasant! There is no etiquette of retail happiness experience! I tried on only Two pieces of jewelry & was reprimanded like an animal or a thief! For trying on a bracelet that was easily purchasable at a mere $26. I did a minimal squeeze of an adjustment to fit properly (and she scolded, me the owner, as if the item was now permanently damaged & SHE really lost a whole $26 dollars to my expense!!) My friend and I were trying on jewelry at the liberty public market at a table. My friend was trying on a purple ring and put it back into the book that it was in. She grabbed another color but put that one back as well. The owner of the table said there were 4 purple rings in the book in the same spot and was looking for it. She asked if we had it but we didn't , so we replied no. She was very hostile in her approach and asked to check our bags. We willingly allowed her and she was being incredibly rude. She asked for our phone numbers and names and she continued to give us an attitude. We asked the name of her business and she refused and said just get out of here. She also continued to say the cameras are watching us and we have karma coming our way even though we had done nothing wrong. The first time i came to liberty station i just happened to stop a this place. I saw an om ring in a gold color, and it was just gorgeous. I bought it and for the past two years even though its not real gold, the coloring has no faded and the quality is excellence. I went back again this weekend and I got two earrings and a"love" ring.
