I think I can post a review now that I've calmed down after my experience. I brought my bike in for an engine problem which, after several weeks of diagnosis, necessitated an engine replacement. There was a parts problem which necessitated re-ordering of a couple of critical parts. This took nearly 8 months, but was not entirely the dealer's fault. They also covered winter storage after completion. What I find inexcusable is that several light harnesses were cut, and I had to re-manufacture these harnesses. My aftermarket horn was removed, along with the plug-in harness and relay for it. I did get the actual horns back after an angry call and another trip, but not the harness. One of my front factory auxiliary lights had its harness cut. And last (so far, just found today, a month later) the leather tank bra is gone. When I complained to their "customer rep" text, I got "Glad you figured your wiring out and got your horns back." During the process, I received calls from the dealer saying "I have great news, please call back" only to have it be a sales pitch for me to buy a new bike. What makes this difficult is I don't blame the service writers. They were amazing through the whole process. But, this experience made me realize that I just don't want to spend any more money at a dealer chain that doesn't respect my business enough to put things back the way they found them. read more

I'm 69 years old, and have been to many dealerships for bikes and autos over the decades. Few would I recommend to friends and family, fewer still are ones that reach the level of service and care of Old Glory. And Old Glory's level has but one denizen: old Glory. Yeah, they are in rarefied airspace. I have been a customer there since September 30th of 2021, when I bought my Ultra Limited. Service has ALWAYS been at a level that is exceptional. 11 out of 10. Mike, Dennis, Sparky in Parts, and Dan, Alison, Drew in service, along with the outstanding guys in the shop...I have never been disappointed with the treatment I have received. My husband and I recently purchased a new 2026 Road Glide from the Laurel Old Glory Harley-Davidson location, and our initial experience was very positive. When my husband returned to pick up our tour package and shop for accessories, he briefly set down his Bluetooth helmet while trying on a jacket. When he turned back around, it was gone. He immediately notified staff and was told the manager would review the camera footage. After waiting more than 90 minutes without any follow-up, he was told there was nothing they could do and had to purchase another helmet just to get home. The next day, I spoke with the general manager. After I mentioned posting a review, he later told me the footage showed my husband placing the helmet in the tour pack and asked that I remove the review. Based on that representation, I did. However, once we returned home, the helmet was not there. That left me feeling misled and still without any resolution. What concerns me most is the way this was handled. During that same conversation, management referenced a recent stolen customer motorcycle behind the store and mentioned that a dead body had been found nearby just weeks earlier. I was also told that, because police had not followed up on those incidents, nothing would likely be done about my "small" situation either. Hearing that from management was deeply unsettling and raised serious concerns about customer security and accountability. I am asking ownership to personally review this matter, clarify what the camera footage actually shows, and provide a fair resolution. I would much rather update this review to reflect a positive outcome if management chooses to address these concerns appropriately. read more

Continuing my zip code series, south only has 2. Harley-Davidson store is very close to my home at zip code south in South Laurel 20708. I visited the Harley-Davidson store two times. It's a beautiful store with lots of Harleys on display and staff is nice. On Friday, July 15, 2022, I had work travel to New Jersey on a Friday, and I was 30 minutes from to Atlantic City. So, I decided to go there, walk the Boardwalk, go to casinos, etc. One of the casinos, Resorts Casino, had a Win a Harley contest that I signed up. Only certain people got this based on getting the promotional Blackjack hand; I got a golden ticket for a chance at the Harley. But here was the catch, I needed to be present to win at Resorts Casino on Saturday, October 1, 2022. But for a chance at a free Harley worth over $20,000, it was worth it. They were also giving away $100 Sunoco gift cards every 15 minutes for the 4 hour duration. So, even if I didn't win the Harley, I might win gas since I'd be using some to drive back up there. On Friday, September 30, I went to the Harley store to look around and ask questions, which the staff was helpful. The next morning I made the 3 hour drive to Atlantic City! The weather was pretty nasty with a tropical storm in the Atlantic. I walked the Boardwalk before the event. And I stayed in Resorts for the duration of the event. I won one of the $100 Sunoco cards, but not the Harley in the end. I visited one other time on Saturday, May 18, 2024 for an event I saw on Facebook with my girlfriend. I was like this is close to home, let's check it out. Free food was just the basic nachos, not significant food like hot dogs or whatever, but better than nothing. Staff was nice. I got a free plastic keychain that said Harley 1 with the American flag. In all honesty, I'm not a motorcycle guy, and the staff can probably tell when I roll up in my Toyota Prius, but I will say it's been a pleasant experience with a beautiful displays of all the motorcycles. Whenever my g/f & I drive down MD-197 this way, I jokily say wanna stop in the Harley store. read more

They have not a clue. After changing out a faulty TPMS in front wheel they re-installed my front wheel on backwards. This resulted in the ABS sensor being on the wrong side and not being found by system or computer. Instead of figuring out their mistake they blamed wheel manufacture and me for ABS not working. Sent me on my way 4X with ABS malfunctioning and light on. The service manager final responds, not our issue it is your problem we do not even carry ABS sensors for the new 24 with fat tire. I was like your an idiot, the sensor is in the axel bearing and the axels are the same no matter what. Finally left on that note and riding home to have a real mechanic look at it. On my way, I tapped rear brake to slow and the whole rear wheel locked up. Caused me and the bike to go into a wicked and violent skid. Twice this happened on my short trip home. Once home put bike on lift and we started evaluating the issue and noticed the front tire tread was going the wrong direction. Undid front axel and sure enough whole wheel was on backward placing ABS sensor only the wrong side. the wheel was put on backward Resulting in the ABS system not being able to find bearing/axel sensor. Furthermore bending up both rotors by not lining up with brake calibers when installed backward. After reinstalling the front wheel the correct way. No more ABS issues but did have to replace rotors. We googled the issue afterward to see why rear wheel locked up. It Turns out the new HD bikes if the ABS light ist"On" indicating a issue, that the rear wheel locking up is one of the thing that can result from computer malfunctioning with the system. After posting the encounter I get a call from GM Charlie. He wants me to bring bbike in an let them go through the whole bike. I explained if your master mechanic Fred missed this simple fix and problem how can I trust you shop to touch my bike or then not doing something to get back at my posts. I said, I really would just like my pre-paid service contract money back so I can take my bike to a hd dealer i can trust. Charlie states, I can make that happen but let us first fix everything we haven't made right. I said, let me think it over. Call Charlie back next day advised I think it is better we just part ways and I find another dealership. Well no he hems and halls that he will have to see if he can get me my contract money back. Needless to say my bike is only 3 month old. It not like I have used up 30 months of the 36month contract and now want my money back. It been 3 months. This wasn't my first issue with them in the 3 short months. I had the bike in 4 times and they never finished anything why they had it. I would schedule dates and drop bike off night before only to find out it was ready because 3 days later they are just putting it on lift day I'm was scheduled to pick it up that morning. Well it has been over a month and cricket from Old Glory Harley. I now see why they have a BBB rating of 'F". Customer service is a lie lie lie and hope we don't get called out or caught. read more

Avoid Old Glory Harley-Davidson at All Costs I rarely write reviews, good or bad. But as a business owner myself, I feel it's the right thing to do after the terrible experience I had with Old Glory Harley-Davidson (for a third time) -- both their service and sales departments. If you value your time, money, sanity, and your motorcycle, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Drive the extra distance if you need to -- it will save you frustration in the long run. I brought in my 2023 Street Glide after it sat for a couple of months and began misfiring. The bike was running fine before, but I wanted a proper diagnostic, since I already replaced spark plugs myself and suspected the plug wires might be the issue. I also wanted a tune (after installing Stage I performance parts over a year ago) I knew the bike was running lean because of them and for them to check out a low ticking sound from the engine, that I kept hearing. The problems started from day one. I scheduled a drop-off date over the phone, but when I arrived, the service desk said I wasn't on the schedule. They did take the bike in, but that should have been a red flag. I gave them all the details -- even brought the old spark plugs to show the condition. Dan in service agreed it was running lean. I even purchased a $449 Screamin' Eagle tuner specifically for them to install since I was having issues at home connecting it myself. I asked them to check clutch and throttle play too, and received no response to my follow-up text messages. Zero communication. After several days, they told me the misfire was due to bad plug wires (which I suspected from the start) and replaced them. At that point, they claimed the bike was running fine. They also recommended a brake fluid flush, which I approved. but then added that the ticking noise was possibly a serious rear cylinder issue that would require tearing the engine apart ($1,500 just to inspect, not repair). Here's the problem: after doing business with another Harley-Davidson dealership later on, I learned that the ticking sound I was concerned about is actually a normal characteristic of Milwaukee-Eight engines. I've owned multiple Harleys, but this was my first M8, so I didn't realize the sound was typical. Instead of reassuring me or giving me accurate information, Old Glory tried to convince me something was seriously wrong -- conveniently steering the conversation toward tearing down my engine or trading in the bike. That felt deceptive, and in hindsight, just makes me believe that their main goal was pushing me toward a sale or a big repair charge. The sales team seemed more interested in taking advantage of my situation than helping. They ignored follow-ups, stalled communication, and then tried to lowball me on my trade. It honestly felt like their service department's "diagnosis" was a setup to push me into sales. After I decided to take my business elsewhere, which I told them, I asked Old Glory to stop all service and simply invoice me for the plug wires and diagnostic. It still took four days, four phone calls, and constant pushing just to get an invoice and pick up my bike -- which should have already been ready. When I finally picked it up, I was assured the bike started and ran fine. That was a lie. As soon as I rode it out of their lot, it stalled in first gear and wouldn't restart. My bike was in worse condition than when I brought it in. When I went back inside, service staff offered no explanation. Instead, sales showed up again, pressuring me to trade in the bike rather than addressing the issue. I ended up trailering my bike to another Harley-Davidson dealership. They treated me with honesty and respect, gave me more money for my trade, and got me onto a 2025 Road Glide without games. The experience was night and day compared to Old Glory. This isn't even the first time I've had problems here. In the past, I've had issues with their parts department (charging for a two-pack part but giving me only one) and with lowball trade-in offers on a different Harley. Clearly, this is a pattern. Bottom line: Old Glory Harley-Davidson does not value its customers. Their service department lacks communication and honesty, and their sales department is pushy, misleading, and unfair. I left feeling disrespected and taken advantage of. If you care about your bike, your wallet, and your peace of mind, avoid Old Glory Harley-Davidson at all costs. read more

After several years and several HD's later, I come back to buy another one and I must say, it was probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had buying a motorcycle. I had everything scheduled ahead of time to hurry up the process, and when I got there, it ended up taking almost 4 hours to complete my purchase. Their process of selling motorcycles is horrible. Upon entering. You're greeted and everything. There is a receptionist as soon as you walk in to the left. There is sanitizer available and you could easily tell the AC was on so ventilation was very good. The store is fully stocked and they had the e-bikes at this location which was a plus. They don't however have their highest model e-bike which is their speed model for demo though. They let you do test rides on the e-bikes. However it's very very limited to only the Harley parking lot. Lol. , Now I can understand this for security but it's almost equivalent of test driving a car and only driving around the car dealership lot instead of on the road. Since the e-bikes average price is almost $5K. It would've been nice to take it on the sidewalks and the grass in the area to test terrain riding. Also sadly there's no room for negotiation and not only that but Harley charges an additional $100 to assemble the e-bike which is almost depressing since the e-bike is already overpriced to begin with for the specs. Someone spends over 5k and can't even get the bike assembled for FREE which takes less then an hour to do is truly ridiculous. NOW FOR THE VERY BAD: Upon checking google for reviews on the Serial 1 Harley Davidson e-bike I came across bestbuy which was selling them for over half off. Which I thought was weird and made me question was bestbuy a authorized dealer. So I refused to buy the e-bike from bb and I called the Harley dealership and had to leave a message twice with the employee on the phone on different occasions since only the parts dept knows about the e-bikes. Since leaving the messages asking about price-matching to which I never received a call back makes me really question the service levels here. Also regarding parts availability. THERE IS NONE. Even if you get a flat tire right outside the dealership. They don't stock any parts for the e-bikes so you have to go to a standard bike shop which takes away from the premium feeling of owning a Harley e-bike and even makes someone question the reasoning behind paying the premium for a Harley e-bike. The employees were professional and friendly during the test drive. But the phone service levels are very questionable since they're playing the "ghosting" game now instead of just saying we don't price-match which is truly ridiculous. Now since waiting for the Harley dealership to reply to which they never did on the price-matching. The other stores that were selling the Harley models at a very heavily discounted price are now all sold-out and the pricing is now higher. Overall. This experience makes me 2nd guess even thinking about buying a Harley motorcycle one day. This place is garbage. I made an appointment to service my bike on Monday, and on Friday I find they never even started working on my bike. My appointment was for a specific date and time. What is the point of making an appointment? Why not tell me to come next week if they don't have the time to work on bike this week, or just tell me to drop it off at anytime with the understanding they will work on it eventually? Also, I inquired about the price of a nice Fat Boy they advertised online. They would not give me a price over the phone, but kept saying to come down and talk to them in person. I could not get through to the salesman that based on the price, I will even buy the bike or not, but I was unwilling to waste my time and drive all the way to Laurel only to find the price was not acceptable to me. A good Friend bought a brand new bike from Old Glory Harley Davidson and it's been in the shop more than not with a over heating issue and still not fixed and the General Manager couldn't even return phone calls or emails and another friend took his bike there after a low speed accident and after 2 months they still haven't fixed the damage took 6 weeks for them to even order the parts to replace the parts. I just rode in one day because it was nice weather, and I like Harleys. Everyone at Old Glory are always very friendly. I ended up trading my 2012 Street Glide in for a 2020 Street Glide Special. I haven't looked back. I love the changes they've made since 2012. I wasn't planning on riding out on a new Harley, but Kim was able to negotiate a better price on the bike and gave me a decent trade-in value. Doug was very cooperative in helping me grab some personal non-stock items off my old bike. I still lost big time on all of the extras I had, but that's to be expected. It was late & well beyond closing time (you know the process). Corey was still there to help me with what ever I needed, and he installed my heel shifter right then so I could ride home in comfort. The process & paperwork could have been much faster. It resembles the same process you'd experience buying a new car. Overall, what counts in the end is the quality/quantity of smiles per mile this transaction has provided. I have been very good smileage already. She called the office during the week and they told her absolutely not. So the instructor lets her fail, she gets hurt, the bike is fine, we're out over $700 for the class, almost $300 for a helmet and she's very upset. Experience has been horrible ...got a 2022 sportster that was supposed to be HD certified ...I was pushed into a warranty deal that wasn't all the way explained and granted 120 $ from dealer to pay for the first couple of month ...they lied about the factory warranty that came with the bike to find out it ends 8/24 .now I have a bike that I could ride only 2 times and have a payment due on the 17 ! The dealer refuses to take the shit back and want to re appraise it to have me pay more money to give them the faulty motor cycle back. Do not come to this location they do not care about customers everything is a sale and they lie ! I have asked several times for my contract and still to today no one has sent me my paperwork oh and I still do not have the bike in my possession. It was said it was a battery issue which I know is not because 4 days later the issue has not been resolved and no other options where given other than to wait. Buying a bike at Old Glory has always been a good experience both times I was involved in purchasing a bike there. HOWEVER, if you ever need service BEWARE. My son purchased his new Harley Heritage unfortunately he had a wreck at low speed before he even got 60 miles on the bike. We took the bike to Old Glory for repairs. BIG MISTAKE - we were first told about 7k in damages then we were told this bike was totaled had a bent frame it would be more than 20k to fix and of course insurance company would not pay for that repair. I said how in the world could the frame be bent . We went to see the bike - after 30 min of the tech walking around the shop walking in and out of same rooms he takes us to the room and to the bike. We asked to see the bent frame , he couldn't show us. Then suddenly he found a small flat head screwdriver size chip of paint on the frame and said because of that they MUST replace the frame of the bike. I said there is no way - we will take the bike to another shop to have it looked at. EVEN THE TECH said that is what he would do. We told the tech and the guy working the desk the day we would be there to pick it up. We called when the tow truck was on its way to pick up the bike. We were told the bike is in Baltimore at an auction house. No one at Old Glory could tell me how or why it went there without owners authorization . NO ONE CARED EITHER. I had to constantly call. When I reached the service manager he said he had no idea he was suppose to call me. I said I want the bike back and delivered to this shop today . I was told 2 days in a row the bike would be there and it never showed up . So it sat in the rain outside for days because it was unsafe to get it in the rain. I asked for compensation for the time I took off work ,working with the shop to stay open 2 hours each night waiting on the bike. Sending the bike to auction place without consent and the aggravation of it all. the cost of the tow truck who never got the bike. I sent an email to the owner no reply - nothing have not heard a word and this happened in April. As you can see in the pictures the bike had some damage. I took it to a shop who fixed it for less than 1/2 of what Old Glory Quoted. NO FRAME WAS BENT. I waited to write this review giving Old Glory ample time to reach out to me. THEY NEVER DID. I also wanted to make sure that the bike was in fact not in as bad a shape as Old Glory claimed it was. You can see for yourself I got it home the other day and it looks great. Who sends a BRAND NEW BIKE to an Auction house without consent and when the customers says to 2 different employees the date they will pick up the bike. Kind of sounds fishy right ? I heard theory's from people who said sounds like maybe someone is working with the auction company ? I don't have any proof of that but what I can tell you was I was told by someone in the industry that this has happened to others and Old Glory has a reputation for totaling bikes and not repairing them. All I wanted was Old Glory to handle this professionally , competently, own up to their mistakes and provide compensation for this intolerable situation. Waited two months for a class at Old Glory, but was a waste of time, effort and money. If you're a smaller frame and want to spend adequate time on your exercises, DO NOT DO IT. You sign the class contract prior to getting sized for any bikes. Throughout the contract mentions they will counsel you out, for whatever reason. If my size was an issue that should have been mentioned PRIOR to enrollment-- I wasn't going to miraculously grow 5inches prior to the start of class. I get to our first day on the track, and the instructor whispers to the other instructor, "She is SHORT," under his breath. I, of course internally worry already. At the time of sizing us for our bikes, they didn't have a bike low enough for me, and mentioned that it would be a concern because my feet should both touch the ground. Verbatim the instructor said, "you might not be able to do this." Okay... They put me on the bike anyway and continued to watch me struggle through the class, especially when walking the bike backwards in neutral. Can't walk a bike backwards if your heels don't hit the ground. Can't balance a heavy bike if you're forced to lean the bike to walk it in neutral in the exercises. Not only that, but add that sizing issue on top of learning new skills. How does a Harley dealership not have the power to lower a bike for it's students? You literally have mechanics on premises-- it's not rocket science. But hey, I bet they'd lower it for someone shelling out big bucks for a new bike. Or maybe the discrimination comes from me being a female? Latina? With the extra hundred dollars you spend for a Harley class, compared to the courses elsewhere, you'd think they'd have a bike for every size--- or at least accommodate for their students and offer to lower one. The class itself felt rushed. I understand it's hotter than Hade's out there, but 2-5 minutes per exercise just won't do for your muscle memory. They teach you how to get into gears without ever teaching you exercises on how to brake safely or information on how to try to fall safely. Then, when you're having trouble with a skill (which is what you're literally paying them to teach you), they counsel you out. They don't care about your success, they just want to collect your money and get you out of there as fast as possible, so their instructors can avoid a heat stroke on a hot Summer's day. You pay $395 to be told that, in essence "tough luck, no refunds, smaller people have passed this class, go somewhere else like a community college with smaller bikes and more coaching time." They admit that you'd probably be more successful at a community college, just not there... but won't refund you or admit fault. Got it. Don't waste your money. I can see people getting discouraged after an experience like this one. Save your money, sign up early at a community college. Extremely unprofessional and a scam. No customer loyalty with the new management and ownership at this Stealership. Bought 2 motorcycles from them within the last 8 months, went to buy the new Snake Venom green Road King, first words out of their mouth were, we are treating these like CVO's. Well it's not a CVO and definitely not worth 28 plus thousand. Now remember I am a 2 time customer and also brought in 2 brothers that also bought a bike each, that is 4 in less than 8 months. they came at me with a very ridiculous price, I asked give me your best deal. they came back with a ridiculous offer, strike 2, one more shot an absolute no go. Went to HD of DC 1 hour later and an amazing experience and deal, I am the proud owner of a 2021 Road King Snake Venom Green. never going back to or recommending OGHD. save yourself some money and less stress. read more

So I came in to look around, I really had no idea what I wanted.. but I wanted to get an idea.. I'm going through a moving process right now, and we're Getting moving trucks and the whole 9 yards but after that I want to get on a bike and have some fun. I came up and I ran into Shianne on the sales floor pretty quickl, basically as soon as I hit the door and she was super friendly, and not just her, but also a guy 2Tone. They continued to walk me around and talk to me. They actually seemed to care and they listened to what my concerns were! Never had a run in with customer services so well... usually its a bad experience.. they were so kind and funny, before I knew it they had me sitting on bikes and I was there for longer than I planned to be. Worse experience ever! Katyln is terrible. Tried to over charge for bikes. You tell them budget they try to scale you up. Will not talk to you if you have own financing or check from your bank! Avoid them search elsewhere!!!! Told me to call when I had more money or to trade them totally disrespectful and a waste of your time!!!! read more

I dropped my FatBob off in their care June 6, 2023 before I left the country on vacation. I returned the afternoon of the 15th and I received a call on that same evening of June 15, 2023. Instead of telling me that the routine services were completed, I was told that it had been damaged because the bike was dropped by a technician. I completely understand that accidents happen. But my main concern is that this is not the first occasion of poor service. February 2022 my bike stalled on me in traffic during my commute home from work, because the upgrade that I had done at Old Glory was not installed correctly. The push rods were not tightened properly, resulting in me having to get it towed after being stranded for hours. Just a few months ago in March I had a repair done to the bike fork lock and my head light was not re-connected properly. And now yet again, another major issue. I unfortunately have lost confidence in having my bike serviced by their team. read more
