My current bike a 2022 Road glide special with a 114 engine with a Red Shift 468 cam kit in my Road Glide Special I can honestly state that the sound, quiet power train, torque and acceleration in all gears is unmatched by any other upgrades installed prior. I would highly recommend Zipper's as a supplier for cams and their first rate support for all of their products.

I made my purchase on a friday and still hadnt received a confirmation email by monday, so I decided to call them and ask for an update. They informed me my order would ship the next day when the sprocket order arrived. Tuesday came along and still no email or tracking. By wednesday, I called again. Steve informed me that the sprocket order came in a day late and also the front sprocket I ordered was not in the order and I would have to wait 3 weeks for it to come in. Its as if he didnt even know what products he would be receiving. He made a suggestion to switch the gear ratio from 24t front 55t rear to 25t front and 56t rear which they had both in stock. The rpm difference was only about 50 which was fine so I said ship me those. Waited for my confirmation email and tracking the rest of the day wednesday and still nothing. I called AGAIN thursday asking what the heck was going on? They simply stated they werent sure how I wanted the items to be shipped so they waited for me to answer their emails which for some reason I wasnt receiving. Finally I was fed up and suggested that they pay for expedited shipping of my items, and when I suggested it, the woman who I spoke with said she would have to ask her manager. She called back and said that expedited 2 day shipping from Maryland to southern california would be approximately $70. She said I could pay it and it would get there by saturday but didnt offer to cover it for all of the mistakes and issues I had been experiencing. I told her she needs to go back to her manager and try to help me out. She called me back AGAIN 10 minutes before they closed on thursday saying it would be approximately $100 to overnight my package to me and that if I paid the $70 for the expedited cost, they would "eat the remaining cost" as if paying for 30% of the shipping cost that I shouldnt have had to pay in the first place was going to make up for all of the wrong they have done by me the customer. I was fed up and finally told the woman to just ship it standard free the way they promised on their site and understood that it would get there when it got there. I verbalized to her how upset I was and how wrong this was and all she could say to me was "thanks for being understanding and patient." All in all, customer service was a 0/5 stars but unfortunately I have to give them at least 1 star on yelp.

I transported it in the back of…read moremy Silverado to have new tires installed, and while I was there, they also recommended an oil change. After getting the bike home, I immediately noticed major issues -- it now runs terribly, stalls frequently, and the ride is no longer smooth. This was not the case before I brought it in. While I'd like to believe this wasn't intentional, it's hard to ignore the timing. The staff seemed friendly and provided decent customer service, but that doesn't change the fact that my bike went from working perfectly to running poorly right after their service. I will be contacting Ducati Corporation to file a formal complaint. If my concerns are validated, I will have nothing positive to say about Bob's Ducati going forward.

Bob's Motorcycles feels like family. I had a wonderful experience buying my new BMW F800GS, thanks…read moreto Yale at Bob's Motorcycles. It all started when a friend encouraged me to take a BMW Rider Academy class in South Carolina that Bob's organized and sponsored--getting my friends and me discounts on the class and sending Yale and Amy to represent Bob's there. I wanted to buy an adventure bike after the course, and when I texted Yale on a Saturday night after hours, he surprised me by responding immediately. We ended up talking for over 30 minutes about my riding goals and hopes & dreams, all after work hours! I went into Bob's several days later, and Yale started out by giving me a tour and introducing me to everyone. Much to my surprise, they all already knew who I was, knew I'd be coming, knew I'd been at the course in South Carolina... it just really felt like home... like family. And what's more, because I had told Yale on the phone that my primary concern was seat height, he had already researched seat heights on multiple makes and models (not just BMWs or Ducatis) for me. Over the course of my purchasing experience, I got to know multiple people at Bob's - Yale, Amy, Jim, Lorrie... I could have purchased this bike at any number of dealers... I chose Bob's because I felt like I was home. So the bottom line is that if you want an experience that makes you feel like you're home among family... just call Yale at Bob's Motorcycles for your next new or used bike purchase or trade-in.

I was referred to API by the VPC so I called to see if they could help me. They were kind of busy and it was toward the end of the day, but they said to bring it over and they'd work on it. After taking a look at it, they replaced the metal TPMS stem with a rubber one (they didn't have the TPMS valve stem in stock) and were done in about 20 minutes. The price was right, too! Jeff and Brian are fantastic people and if I lived in that area (or even within 50 miles), this is the first place I would go for car issues. Thanks guys!

I needed a new radio console installed along with routine oil change, differential fluid, tire…read morerotation, etc. at the dealership for our 2015 Subaru Outback. AutoNation Subaru promised 2 days but it turned out they hadn't ordered the radio and it would take 7-10 business days, so--for the first time ever--we took it to Kevin at API for the routine stuff and would take it back to AutoNation for the radio another time. We dropped it off June 23 and would pick it up June 29 (which we did.) Drove it home (~5 miles) and it sat until Tuesday at 4:30 a.m. when my wife went to work. The car started shimmying and a burning smell and grinding sound came out from under the hood. She pulled over as the car lost power and the car wouldn't stop rolling in Park; used emergency brake and towed it back to API that morning (June 30). Kevin diagnosed the outback needed a new transmission but denied any culpability, saying instead this is a dealership problem and try to con them into extending the warranty. Towed it to Catonsville Subaru and we have their video diagnostic and written report stating the differential assembly was empty of fluid and the transmission was filled with differential fluid. It cost almost $20K to repair the damage and Kevin and API (with his son and daughter) refuse to respond. I hate to spend $10K to recover $20K but they are leaving us no choice. I've mailed hardcopies, sent email requesting "read receipts (APISOUTH@YAHOO.com) but they immediately delete them without reading. API has their folksy "aw shucks, I'm just one o' ya'll" routine down pat but it's shadier than Trump bitcoin. I recommend avoiding this place like the plague.
