I genuinely hope these people go out of business or have their license yanked. When that happens, I'm sure they will have great success selling crystals or timeshares or magic beans or door to door driveway paving for the elderly. It seems my experience was like many others after researching. I sent a request through the website to get a price on a used bike I was looking for. I was called and was told I could make an appointment to see/test ride the bike and another used one on the site I was interested in. They even said they could give me a great deal since the one had been there awhile. I made my appointment, drove an hour only to find lo and behold BOTH bikes I was interested were at Patriot although I had been told they were there. Later I found out and am able to prove they hadn't been there even when I was invited up to check them out. They literally lied to me to get me in the door. Then the pressure started to get a new bike. "We can get you into a new bike cheaper than a used one". How exactly does that work? I was told after much stuttering Harley screwed up their prices so the cheapest way to go was to spend another 12k more on a new one versus one used with 1900 miles. What sort of math is that exactly? Honestly I should have walked then, but I went on a test ride on another bike they had that I was interested in. Before I left, I asked the salesman how much it was, he went to his manager and he came back and said his manager, Rafael, told him "Get the BS out of the way and then I'll give him numbers". Should have walked then, again. Test drive goes well and I ask for numbers on that bike and the two others on the website that they "could bring in", and again am confronted with the new bike nonsense by the manager Rafael. The other two bikes are now totally out of the picture, and he gives me a quote on the one I test drove. He told me, without checking my credit, my interest rate would be 15% and 30% down is required for all used bikes whereas new ones are a lot cheaper. Sure. I then ask about the $1500 gift card promotion and am told the bike I want to buy isn't eligible. Why is that? Because it's not eligible I am told. I asked where does it say that on the website, he says he isn't bound by that and can arbitrarily (my word) decide which ones are included. I tell him the law doesn't work that way. He shuffles off to his "manager" and comes back and says the fine print says "promo cannot be applied with another promo". Apparently him giving me a quote was a promo! You see the price was reduced from 27k to 21k and thats a promo. Doesnt say promo, or special price, or anything like that on the website. Clearly their definition of what a promotion is different than the rest of the honest business world, but I was beginning to see I wasn't dealing with an honest business. I then inquire as to exhaust. I am told that would be something like $3200. I look it up on the manufacturers website and at MSRP its $1699. So that's $1500 for an extremely basic install and mapping. Sweet. So I then forgo the $1500 gift card promotion, the fact I was lied to, the fact I was bait and switched, and ask for an actual out the door quote. Well there's a $1300 prep fee on it. What's that for, I ask. New fluids, tires etc. I said come on it has 1900 miles! I called them out on the lies, bait and switch and wasting time. Rafael then got extremely agitated, condescending and disrespectful, which I responded to in kind. The bottom line is this business is absolutely dishonest and unethical. If they do things like this to potential buyers who know what they're looking at, what do they do to those who don't? What do they do to first timers who fall for the VIP, cheering, happy birthday singing timeshare sales pitches? You may know it, or you may not, but bottom line is you are getting screwed at Old Glory. read more

I have been riding Harley's for over 33 years and been to countless dealerships over the years but the one that stands out to me as the best around. That dealership is Old Glory Harley Davidson in Laurel Md. I have been to this dealership several times over the passed year and a half mostly to meetup for some great rides and trips with the local HOG chapter. So when it was finally time to upgrade my 2003 Roadking after 17 years the natural choice was to take my first look at Old Glory. I hadn't been to the dealership since January due to the Covid situation so I was looking on line at a used CVO Ultra limited. and inquired to see if it was still available. It wasn't long before I was introduced to Corey from the sales department who invited me in for a test ride.. Upon my arrival I was immediately greeted at the door and found Corey who showed me the CVO I had asked about. Corey then assisted me with some paperwork and had the bike pulled it for the test ride. Corey took myself and two other riders of different experience levels and Harley models on a nice ride around the dealership a couple times to get warmed up and used to the bikes. Before heading out on the road we stopped briefly and Corey answered any questions we had and made sure we all felt comfortable and safe on our bikes. Corey also explained the route we we're going to take as well as some safety signals etc. Once out on the road Corey took us on a good assortment of roads. Once back at the dealership we started talking numbers, trade in and financing. Danielle and Anna in the finance department were great at getting me such a low rate package that I was able to pull the trigger on a brand new 2020 ultra limited CVO! I had my '21 Road Glide Special serviced for routine maintenance, recall, warranty issue, and to fix a previous installation by the dealer that wasn't quite right. Despite all concerns not being completely addressed, service manager Dan provided excellent customer service and made no excuses. People make mistakes and Dan did a great job covering his team without blaming his techs, the parts department, or me the customer. I've had excellent experience with Allison, Brandon, and Drew (among many others). Dan provides a strong foundation of the team. Went to look at a bike posted online (of course the price wasn't listed). Started talking to one person, by the time we got around to finally discuss numbers, I was on my fourth or 5th salesperson. They pass you around like a hot-potato (I think it's a sales gimmick.. to distract you or something.. or so you don't get frustrated with one person trying to push you into a deal). All the them were very pushy. I mean, pushy is an understatement. They were relentless and haranguing. Obviously I understand that the point of any business is to sell products and make money, but pushing people into buying things they can't afford or don't necessarily want is not a good business practice. Frankly, I'm surprised anyone comes back (those who can make it out the door without being suckered into signing anything). I was very clear from the beginning and told every single one that I'm not in a position to buy right now (just got back to work from being laid off for 7 months, not sure how long before the government shuts us back down, plus I'm a bit overextended) and was just checking things out, but every one insisted that we just "run the numbers or do a credit app just in case". No thanks, don't need a hard inquiry when I'm not even serious about buying. The salesperson then decided to run the numbers anyway "just to see what I could afford" without running credit and the bike was priced over $10k higher than the first salesperson had estimated (no one knows what the used bikes cost.. I guess they make up the highest number they think you'll pay), which was about $1.5k below retail of a brand new one. This place is not doing you any favors. You're probably way overpaying, but don't care as long as the monthly payment lands on your ballpark. Well, I care. $50k for a used bike, estimating $15k down payment and almost $1k/mo payment. I dropped my bike off to have the rear stock wheel replaced with a chromed rear wheel, previously purchased along with new rotor screws. Also requested to have front and rear tires replaced with new ones. It was time to change the oil and I was informed the bike needed front and rear brake pads. I was called and told my bike was ready after having it for 11 working days. I was given what I thought was my stock rear wheel too. I decided one day to clean my bike because it had gotten wet on the way home from the dealership. I noticed the rear wheel was not replaced with the the chrome wheel as requests. I immediately called the dealership and shared my story. I was told to bring the bike back to the shop and again explained that the work requested was not completed. Also, I checked the oil and it was very dark as though it had not been changed. I was told the service manager would be in on Tuesday as he was on vacation. I arrived at the dealership on Tuesday at 10 am to discuss the situation with my bike. I was completely blown off by the Service Manager. He was advised by the service advisor I wanted to speak with him, however he kept taking and making phone calls. He could see me through the glass door to his office and he knows me. We always talk to one another when we see each other during my visits; whether just visiting or getting my bike serviced. He would take the door from his office to shop to avoid seeing me. It was an hour later that the Service Manager spoke to me about the situation with my bike. No apologies were not offered. I was made to feel like I was a nuisance and he did not want to deal with me. I never got a clear explanation as to why the work was not completed properly in the first place. I was told that my bike would be ready in two days. When mention about the oil looking dark, the service manager told me he was walking by when the oil was being changed. Mmmm Right. Ok. My bike was ready as promised and this the last time Old Glory will see my bike ever. I purchased my bike from Old Glory in 2015 and they did great work on my bike and the customer service was spot on. What happen to change the customer service that was provided in the past it a mystery. I did not mention the names of the service advisor or the service manager on purpose. I am very disappointed with the way the situation was handled and the fact that it happened. I do not want to talk about the time I wasted to get the work on my bike completed correctly. We met with the manager and he explained that the bike needed to be inspected before I could take it for a test drive, even in the parking lot. I was ok with it, he said I would be the first to drive the bike and it would be inspected the next day and shook my hand. No one ever called me. I called my sales person Matt up and he told me they sold the bike. This is just a crappy place to do business with, a hand shake means nothing to these people. read more

One the worst buying experience ever. 1) prices aren't posted and deceiving sales tactic are used to draw you into the store. 2) Once you in the store they push you to buy new, they wont entertain your inquiry on used bike. They try to sell on "tires" for life crap 3) then once your approved for some reason they are extremely secretive about the numbers, they try to sell you on the monthly price. It took me two day for someone to return my call in regards to the numbers after they told me I was approved. Monthly price was extremely high, I declined the offer. Sale Manager Dave was awesome with working on get me another bike that fit with in my budget. I took a hour drive to the store to finalize financing and the entire staff was clueless about the numbers the Sales manager worked on. Not to mention they could locate the bike. So I sat in the store and complete another "pencil" as they called, then the Asst. Sales Mgr. Kim said, "ok we found the bike, we have the financing for this bike at this is your monthly, now I need your card for the down payment. Not once did she show me the bike I was about to finance for five figures, no once did she give me a bill of sale to show what the bike cost. I was upset left the store, only to be chase out the store by an Employee named Hector. He apologized for Kim behavior and ask me to come in and work with him. I took a few minutes to calm down. ( I should have got in my car drove faraway) Nonetheles, I gave them a second chance. Hector was very professional and understanding, showed me the bike, shared with me the bill of sale and told me the additional docs the bank required. Instantly, I used there computer and gave him ALL the documents required, I went through with financing, took a tour of the different department and was gifted a nice t-shirt. Finance Mgr was professional explain the term of financing gave me paperwork. I spoke with Hector again to confirm delivery for the bike he said he has not heard back from bank will give me call by the close of business with delivery date or let me know it the bank need anything else. I never spoke to Hector again. Since I didn't receive a call back I called the next morning and was transferred four time, then spoke with a guy in finance. He said,the bank didn't issue the funds yet to release the bike he was email them and it usually take a day or two. Day two comes no one calls. I call the spoke with the guy Mike who answered the phone and was transfer to Cheyanne, she said every was good and transferred me to service because they handle delivery. Lady answered in service I have her my name and then the call was disconnect. I called the store back and spoke with Mike he apologize, says things are mess there and he seems to be the only one answering the phones, he transfer me to the Sale Mgr, they picked up the phone you could hear the music of the dealership playing and then they hung up. Called Mike again he apologize and and transferred me back to Cheyanne and she hung up. I call the bank myself and spoke with them, they said every was good there end not sure what was going on at the dealer and she gave me a list of names of people at the dealership handling my sale and suggested I ask for them. I made a final attempt to call the dealership, this time Mike didn't answer. I understand buying a motorcycle is a little different the a car and the dealership will not release the bike until everything is Cleared with the bike, however transparency and communication is important. You tell customers that it will be a delay in delivery when you use certain banks. I'm patience I can wait, I would have use the time to have there service department to add parts to my bike while I was waiting. Instead they chose take my down payment, not communicate and hang up when I call. I'm turned off with Harleys and the Harley culture. First of all, "staff wears masks?" Maybe half of them did. Most of them had a mask hanging off their chins, one woman had no mask at all. I had to stand way back from them. On Tuesday, 23 March 21, I was invited to bring my motorcycle in for an offer and payment, an outright sale. After they played the waiting game for an hour, they finally made a lowball offer. They also charged me an "inspection fee." Baltimore HD doesn't do that. Then they said I had to wait until Friday for someone who could sign a check. Friday came and no one contacted me. Maybe they were going to mail the check. Tuesday, a week after they took my motorcycle, I called them. Carol (no last name) said she would look for the paperwork and cut me a check that day. She said she would call me back in twenty minutes. An hour and no call later, I called her. She said, "I said I would call you when I find the paperwork." That retort is not customer service. Today, April 2nd, I called again and their call system kept giving me a busy signal. I went to Old Glory HD and asked about the check. The receptionist, who finally put on her mask to talk to me, said their whole system is down. She said that Carol would make a check for me if the system came back up. Carol called me this afternoon and informed me that a check was ready for me. I finally picked up the check from the same no mask wearing crew. It was a totally UNSAT experience. read more

I have waited over a month to write this review to see if Management of Old Glory would take any action to mitigate the poor experience I had in March of 2018 buying a bike. Unfortunately, no meaningful response has been forthcoming. The bike I purchased was for my son, an excited new rider. The dealership had a bike which matched the needs of my son. I called the dealership after finding the bike on the internet. The person answering the phone was rude and disinterested. I was made to feel like an inconvenience. I should have hung up the phone and continued the search for a suitable bike. However, the bike at the dealership was very close to what my son needed and he was very excited to put his new skills to use. I made the 37 mile trip to the dealership and purchased the bike on a Sunday. As I was going through the process, I was told my evidence of motorcycle insurance was not enough for the dealer. It was Sunday. I have insurance through State Farm and have explicit coverage for any vehicle I buy immediately and for 30 days without any action beyond purchasing the vehicle. I could do nothing to satisfy the dealerships' arduous insurance requirement as it was SUNDAY. I was paying cash so there was no special lender requirement. I made the 74 mile round trip, paid in full for the bike, spent two hours going through the hokie but required card game in each department but left the dealership without even a temporary tag for the bike. So I had a bike but no legal tag to allow my son to ride. I told the dealership I would email a specific insurance policy for this bike on Monday morning. In exchange, I received a promise to send out the tag that day, Monday, for delivery the next day. I did my part, by 9:30 AM Monday morning the dealership had my specific evidence of insurance. The next day came and went without delivery of a tag. I called on Wednesday but did not receive a call back. I called again on Thursday, same thing. Finally, the call came as I was heading out of town on Friday, the tag was sitting on someone's desk and had been since Monday and I was free to come pick it up. I was charged not only for the tag but also charged a dealership service fee. What service was provided for the fee? After my three phone calls to complain about the situation, I received what amounted to an obligatory "we are sorry, we screwed up" call. No mention of the ten day delay and my second 74 mile round drip to retrieve the tag promised for delivery the next day. Buying a motorcycle is a luxury purchase. As such, retailers and dealers should treat the purchasers with honesty and integrity. Old Glory Harley Davidson, exercised neither of these principles in this transaction. The motorcycle business will continue to suffer as new rider numbers fall and things like tariffs loom on the horizon. I own many bikes and buy bikes frequently. I WILL NOT return to Old Glory Harley Davidson for any future purchase regardless of the bike or the deal. Old Glory Harley Davidson has lost me as a customer due to the lack of customer focus demonstrated at all levels within the dealership, the complete lack of follow through, and most of all the lack of corporate integrity. Every customer should receive your very best every time regardless of transaction size or day of the week the business is transacted. The customer you already have is the least expensive customer to sell another bike. When mistakes are made a remedy should be made commensurate with the inconvenience and lack of follow through. Old Glory Harley Davidson simply does not measure up. Another dealership will sell me a Harley Breakout this summer. read more

Got to the service line like 7:30 am , only like four or five ppl ahead of me. Service doors open up at 9 am. Around 8:45 two dudes who must have friends or connections with Old Glory move to front of line. I call them out and tell Service Staff. He tells me NEXT TIME IM making them go to back of the line. Mind you I had a scheduled ride with friend at 2 pm. Only needed ONE REAR tire replaced. Didn't get my bike back until 11 am next DAY. I WAS PISSED OFF read more

When I was shopping for a new Harley, I was really impressed with the kindness and professionalism of everyone at Old Glory Harley Davidson. Then I purchased a new 2021 Street Glide Special and discovered that the professionalism and helpfulness ended on the date of purchase. I purchased my bike in March 2021 and I have not received a hard tag for my Street Glide Special as of this date in July 2021. My temporary tag expired in May, and I have been calling the dealership constantly since April with no resolution or assistance. Every time I call to inquire about my tags, they transfer me to someone's answering machine or promise to call me back. Of course they never call back or return my calls for help. To make things worse, MVA started an investigation on me because I cancelled the insurance on my trade-in after giving it to Old Glory for the Harley Street Glide Special. When I showed MVA my sales agreement with the trade-in information on same, they advised me that Old Glory never returned the hard tags from the trade-in. In fact, the finance company also contacted me to inform me that they could not find evidence that the Street Glide was even titled to me. At this point, I have no idea what is really going on at Old Glory Harley Davidson. They have made no attempt to issue me a new temp tag or to resolve the issue with MVA. My bike now sits in the garage with expired tags. I'm afraid to ride, fearing that the police will stop me and tow my bike or worse. I recently contacted MVA and made an appointment to discuss the matter with them directly. I hope they can resolve this situation. read more

We came to Old Glory to have work done to our 2010 Ultra Classic. To our surprise, we were presented with a $7800 bill!! Yep! Water had gotten into the oil. To add insult to injury, the bike is now worth $700, AND we still owe a balance. My husband was devastated. We just didn't know what to do. I spoke to Chris Wilhelm and asked him to see what, if any, solution he could offer us. He worked with Corbette , and Dave in financing, and called me back within a couple hours! Until now, we had purchased preowned motorcycles, however my husband's dream was to always own a brand new HDMC, and they made that happen!! They made it possible for us to trade in the 2010 on a 2018 Street Glide, 0 miles. I requested a backrest for the seat, and somehow, they made that happen. Not sure where to start. Like most here I spoke to someone before driving almost 40 miles one way about a used bike I was told was available along with another one very similar. I show up somehow they're both gone and a brand new 2021 is brought infront of me. Price is almost doubled what the others were I pre-qualified for. Then it's they want more money down or so I have a co signer and after waiting for 40 mins with no other information I left. I was told to fill out a paper application for them to have on file for me but they ended up running a second hard check on my credit. So I get home and reply back to the Internet sales manager (I won't name anyone) and express my frustration in a very respectful way. I get no call or email, ok it is what it is. Well 10 mins before their shop closes I get an email from someone else by the name it Linda Myers who decided to tell me this, "Next time just don't be fucking stupid okay? Thanks it will save everyone else a fuck load of time. Watch urself dumb bitch." Now typically it wouldn't be realistic to tell who it was from since the email is obviously not related to Old Glory. Here's the problem, I just bought my Apple phone, so I just set up my iCloud email. 3 people have this email, my spouse who is currently serving over seas, my boss and Old Glory Harley Davidson. So someone who didn't like the fact that I didn't buy and voiced my concern about what happened went into the system and stole my private information and sent me a threatening email. I cannot believe someone would stoop down that low. So I have no choice but tk try and get Old Glory to find out who it is before I call the police and file a grievance with Harley corporate. This review is based solely on my experience with the motorclothes department at this dealership. Old Glory Harley Davidson is by far one of my favorite dealerships to visit. They are always well stocked, have a wide variety of merchandise for sale, and always have a great deal of sales or clearance merchandise. Their selection of t-shirts available are one of the best and always have a wide variety of logo backs seen at any dealership. The staff is polite and helpful and I encourage anyone near this location to check it out because they will not be sorry. read more
