    6 BIG bones.

Still five stars but get here early, preferrably before they open so you can get in line. 45 minutes after opening one day they didn't have ribs and "didn't know" when more would be ready. On another day they were out of brisket 1 hour after opening.

Yes, it's true. Real BBQ can be found in NE Ohio and Ol'chefskis does a great rendition of brisket, pulled pork, and other sides that you expect from a good pit master. Their sauce is tomato based, and is very good for that type of approach. I tend to like vinegar based sauces, but this one is good and it has a hint of heat to it. Grab your favorite habanero sauce to spike the heat up, and you'll be happy! They're open in their new location on Trails End in Aurora. This is a must visit place in NE Ohio without a doubt.

Freshly cooked lunch. Quick, closeby, very tasty. I would highly recommend.

Sat outside. The patio was alright, poor plants had a rough summer and the chairs were odd. Plastic…read morewhere the legs sort of stuck to the cement so if you shifted your weight at times the legs would hop. Food was Amazing! Initially we were only getting an appetizer until we read the menu. We had the burnt ends appetizer with plantain chips. The ends were glorious, some fatty and some crispy. The plantain chips had no flavor. Settled on the brisket with the grits and apple slaw. As well as sides of the succotash and cheddar smash. Succotash, grits and apple slaw alone are worth going back!

Bad food, worse service. November 17, 6 PM…read more Several problems. One, green chunks of cucumber or broccoli got into my macaroni and it gagged me until I realized what was happening. 2, My brisket was served cold and really not that tender. Thirdly, we waited a way too long for this food. I complained that night about my slow service, cold brisket, and green chunks of something in my macaroni. The hostess' response was, "we don't have a manager." A woman did show up, I calmly and politely introduced myself but she did not give me her name. I told her what was happening and she had a *deer in the headlights look the whole time.* She offered to replace my meal. I said "no, I ate it, but maybe you could do something for me." 20 minutes later she comped me half the price of my meal since I did eat it. But then my wife got sick all the next day, a horrible case of upset stomach. She had the ribs, succotash, and potatoes. So I filled out their website feedback form twice but they blew me off for almost 3 weeks. That's why I'm putting this out here on Yelp now.

I wanted to get the brisket but they do it up charge so I decided to try a red bone instead that was one of my disappointments. It's not as flavorful and seasoned as the rest of the proteins so instead of paying two dollars for a ribbon I should've just got the brisket The green beans are pretty good I'm surprisingly but mac & cheese is decent too. My other slight disappointment is the variety of barbecue sauces but I think that comes down to a preference thing I like mine is more tan than sweet so I'm usually a Carolina barbecue sauce girl they didn't have that but they did have more tangy vinegar sauce, but it's very thin . I also like that they do a hero discount because I am a firefighter so it's nice to be acknowledged . Overall, I would definitely come back here.

City BBQ is another one of those restaurants I have a love/hate relationship with. I have to agree…read morewith another review that stated they were great when they first opened, but have gone downhill as the time has passed. My first experience was an online order and I my food was not ready for an hour, even though I was quoted 28 minutes through the app. I sat for over 30 minutes in the parking spot and finally a worker coming back from her break asked me if I'd been helped yet. So, I decided on the drive through from there on out. I had a few good experiences through drive through. One where I get home and have to come back because items were missing. I come back through after calling to complain and no apology from the drive-through worker (who was the one who originally fudged the order), just a "here you go". So, this time I leave work to get there a little after 7p, let's say 7:10p. I now have become accustomed to asking what they have left, but usually closer to close which is 9p. This day I ask if they have brisket and they say no. The disappoint hit me. Mentally, I'm like, ...what? Why? You don't close for almost 2 hours. Why is a restaurant known for its brisket, out of brisket so early? They actually tried to cross sell me on ribs, but there's no pork on my fork. Who responsible for the amount of food prepped each day? Do they not care about losing the business? I pulled off and who knows if I'll be back. It's a toxic relationship.
