The happy brunch bunch!

Matias, our server was very helpful and friendly! The food was delicious (steak and eggs)! Very cozy and inviting ambience! Overall, a great experience!

Lis was AMAZING!!! We got the eggs and pancakes, both were so yummy. Lis was so sweet and had amazing service and great food on top of that!

Great brekkie options - French toast plus side of bacon n quinoa rainbow bowl with smoked salmon. Yummy!!!

Nice spot for brunch in a nice country style setting. There are plenty of seats inside, so even though it was busy on a Sunday we were able to walk in. Good quality coffee. Cortado, cappuccinos were good. You can also get very large sized lattes which look like soup bowls! The menu had a range with lots of breakfast items and healthier salad/bowls sandwiches. You could enjoy breakfast brunch or lunch here. We enjoyed the pancakes to share and and the shakshuka and avo croissant. Sometimes we had to wave the staff down to get a water refill, and my friend had her plate and cutlery whisked away before she'd finished her last bite.

Really cute place! Came here with a party of nine for a bridal brunch and the service was quick and they were pretty accommodating when we needed to split our checks into four separate tabs. I ordered the shakshuka, and I kinda wish it was slightly more soupy? The dish itself was also on the smaller side than what I'm used to this dish being. I also felt the tomato base was a little dry but the avocados that came atop the dish were plenty and fresh. The pita on the side was also pretty good.

Short rib bun with yuca fries
Kristie P.

Great place for a group brunch!! Service was great as well as the drinks. I loved the short rib bun, the green sauce for the yuca fries is SO YUMMY! I got the tapioca bites out of curiosity but wouldn't recommend, they were kind of bland. They also make their own cold-pressed juices and have a ton of food and beverage options. Everyone really enjoyed their meals, will definitely be coming back.

Patagonia Bowl
Mosa H.

Good and bad food and drinks, depending on what you get. The pink latte was delicious (and beautiful) but the chai latte tasted like slightly flavored milk. The Patagonia Bowl was alright, the dressing was really foamy and watery, and wasn't super cohesive with the rest of the ingredients. We were sat upstairs, which was ridiculously stuffy and had no AC or fans. We were all dripping by the end of our meal. We were also kind of forgotten by the waiters upstairs.

Very pretty place with lemon trees and a light, flowery feel. The menu for breakfast has a number of options and the foot came out quickly after we ordered. Breakfast was filling and interesting.

We tried this place on a whim and it was a good experience. We walked in and there were a few tables available. Our order was taken in a timely manner and the staff was kind and welcoming. The food took a while to arrive, but it was delicious and plated beautifully. The eggs were fluffy and I recommend having some. My partner ordered the "Champ Pancakes" but was disappointed that the plate served contained a singular pancake. I would recommend updating the menu if this is the norm to avoid false advertising. He liked the food still and enjoyed his specialty drink. The ambiance was nice and there is a bathroom for customers. The decor was beautiful and there were nice murals of lemon trees that went well with the interior.

This spot really surprised me..I was not expecting much. My friends and I were trying to just find a spot to eat at and we stumbled upon this spot. The menu may seem like your usual brunch spot, but the food was What we ordered: Sweet Burrata Toast Vegan Burger with a side of Yucca Fries Homemade Yogurt Egg Croissant Steak Sandwich I am keeping this spot in mind if I'm ever in the area.

French Toast

The dishes we had at Ol 'Days were excellent! Presentation and taste were on point! Service was wonderful and the ambiance is simple, elegant and welcoming without being stuffy and pretentious. They have a few locations and exploring the menu differences would be fun! The only drawback was the side of potatoes being comically small...especially for the price and how amazing they tasted!

Horrible service. Put our name in and waited 45 minutes, meanwhile they were seating people that were just walking in. Will never eat here.

Our server was also super accommodating and friendly and patient with all of our questions and requests. The eats and drinks: Orange juice - 5/5. Amazing, fresh and sweet! Had some pulp as well. You could tell it was freshly squeezed. Dare I say better than the juice you get at Apollo Bagels. French toast: 6/5. Yes, it's better than 5 stars. I could eat 10 of these in one sitting. Perfectly cooked, right amount of creme anglaise (it looks like too much on the plate, but trust me it's perfect), and the fresh berries are the perfect complement. The bread they use is the perfect thickness as well. No notes. Eggs and toast: 5/5. Perfectly cooked eggs, good bread. Cappucino: 5/5. Full bodied, rich flavor, hot enough, served with good latte art. It's rare to find a place that does it all really well. This is that place. easy 5 stars, no notes!

Three stars or four - I went back and forth with this review…read more I had been to Buvette many years ago; and came to the same conclusion. I had the signature Croque Monsieur both times, and both sandwiches fell short of expectations. I can't exactly remember why it wasn't that good years ago, but yesterday's sandwich had the smallest, thinnest slice of ham I've ever seen - in fact part of the sandwich had no ham due to the slice being so thin! Typically, Croque Monsieur sandwiches have a large amount of ham - not Buvette - it's all cheese and Bechamel sauce. Ironically, the sandwich tasted delicious - but it was really a very tasty grilled cheese sandwich. Next up the Belgian Waffle. The waffle was fluffy and light and had a very good taste. I usually ask for any toppings to my waffle to be 'on the side', as they sometimes overwhelm the waffle. I forgot to on this occasion - and the crème fraiche and berries, with the sauce, made much of the waffle soggy. It was still very tasty but I didn't finish as it was too mushy. I was disappointed with the brunch, especially the sandwich.

Slow down. Be Present. Show gratitude…read more After a failed shopping attempt and noticing how optimal the weather was on this sunshiny, low-humidity Aug 29th, it only convinced me to take my time and hang out in the city a little longer. While walking around the Flatiron district, I came across The Smith. This New Yorker only knew about the Midtown East location, so I was quite happy to take this opportunity to walk in and grab a seat at the bar. Adam, my server, greeted me with such welcoming enthusiasm, he filled the mood perfectly with lively and accommodating energy, that I felt immediately comfortable during my solo dine. I couldn't help but absorb the inviting atmosphere of my surroundings, as well as people watch while others appeared to do the same. This moment literally gave me time to relax and smell the roses...blessed. Moving on to my review. The Smith has so many diverse, new American dishes. No wonder others enjoy this mini-chain of restaurants. Dishes I noticed on the menu were the Smoked Salmon Potato Waffle, Baked Eggs alla Vodka, Benedict Johnny, Potato Chips with Blue Cheese and Onion Fondue, just to name a few. I kept it simple and ordered a light, yet filling bite of the Spicy Salmon Tartare. This appetizer lived up to its name...it was deliciously rich and spicy. I need to go back to try some of their other comfort offerings. So I'm planning my next solo dining experience or if someone wants to tag along, to relive my experience at this American Brasserie called The Smith.

I visited the Nomad spot equally compared to their Lincoln Center address, not to mention their Midtown East Side location a couple times as well. There's also a 4th, in the East Village which I haven't visited. Finally, they secured a space in Times Square for their upcoming 5th NYC location. A recent and gorgeous summer day allowed us to make a later lunch pit stop here. Sitting semi outdoors (indoors but with all floor windows/door open), it almost felt like al fresco dining. We had twin meals. I couldn't pass up on their veggie burger with all "the works". By veggie, it included mushrooms, Kale, Quinoa, jalapeño and more. The works topped this delicious burger with a special sauce, pickles, tomatoes and onions. So very good. The shoestring, crispy Fries AND the Captain Lawrence beer on draft was the best marriage to the excellent burger. Since the space is large, it always tends to get noisy but, yup, I'm a huge The Smith fan!

This past week, I had a proper brunch with another friend at The Smith and it was a great experience. I had made reservations (just in case), and I got there right on time but my friend was running late. I got seated towards the back by the friendly hostess but as I was waiting, I changed my mind and wanted to sit closer to the front where there was more light coming in from the front the windows. The hostess was very accommodating and moved the table without a problem. The food was delicious. As always, I try to keep it healthy and had the Sugar Snap Pea salad and my friend had the Burrata. The salad was fresh and crispy, with grilled chicken for extra protein. My friend said the Burrata could have been warmer in temperature, but it was still a good choice for her. The ambiance was also very pleasant, there weren't many people at the time we went and I think once the weather gets warmer, the front doors are able to be fully open and allow air in and provide a more al fresco dining experience.
