My wife and I have always ventured to grab a weekend brunch close to home in Jersey city. This time around, we decided to trek downtown to Tribeca to try out Ol' Days. She's been a few years ago, but for me this was my first time. First, it's a very bright space aided by high ceilings and light colored walls. Makes it feel very airy and brunchy. To start, we ordered an orange juice & cold brew. I enjoyed my cold brew and she enjoyed the orange juice. It was made of real oranges unlike mandarins which you see at other places. It's less sweet, but great taste. I got the brioche french toast based on the waiter's recommendation. He made the right choice. Not only was the presentation excellent with all the berries, but the toast was super yummy. Not too sweet too. We also got the ricotta eggs which also tasted really nice. The avocados were a nice touch too. The waiter also supplied us with some almond baked desserts as complimentary for the table. We enjoyed them too. I'd recommend this place for anyone in the area. read more

Interesting little place in tribecca ENTRANCE - the host stand is literally right by the door. Very little room to maneuver. HOST - very nice and confirmed reservation and also let us add one extra person AMBIANCE - cool looking out of the fourties' white painted wood beams. There are two floors so a decent amount of seating SERVICE - very friendly but the place is hopping MENU - all breakfast items all day long. Eggs any style, pastries albeit small selection. Handheld wraps and a couple of burger choices. Plus salads and bowls. Overall very small menu but a little of everything breakfast would entail NOISE LEVEL - worth noting is that the place is very noisy when a lot of tables are being served COFFEE - pretty good quality and the double sized latte is really big. PORTIONS - definitely a little bigger than most and the plates are interestingly played out. A nice presentation PRICES - as you piece together a breakfast for example eggs, cheese, mushroom omelette, you're talking over $20 Overall a solid three and a half. I round down to three as it takes long for meals to come out. And we had seven folks and they episodically brought plates out rather than trying to serve the majority at the same time read more

We had a wonderful breakfast at Ol'Days! The ambiance is so cozy and inviting, and the music created the perfect relaxing vibe. Eliana was the sweetest server. Couldn't have asked for a better morning. read more

Brought my wife here for a night out in the city and couldn't have been more impressed. Elvin did an awesome job making us feel welcome and brought so much personality to our table every time he came around. Food, vibe, and staff are all worth coming by for. read more

Nice spot for brunch in a nice country style setting. There are plenty of seats inside, so even though it was busy on a Sunday we were able to walk in. Good quality coffee. Cortado, cappuccinos were good. You can also get very large sized lattes which look like soup bowls! The menu had a range with lots of breakfast items and healthier salad/bowls sandwiches. You could enjoy breakfast brunch or lunch here. We enjoyed the pancakes to share and and the shakshuka and avo croissant. Sometimes we had to wave the staff down to get a water refill, and my friend had her plate and cutlery whisked away before she'd finished her last bite. read more

The food was sooo good! However the staff were very rude and dismissive towards me... will not recommend if you like good customer service. I'm starting to feel like the whole thing about Argentinian people being racist might be true after this experience, everyone else didn't receive an attitude accept me! read more

Really cute place! Came here with a party of nine for a bridal brunch and the service was quick and they were pretty accommodating when we needed to split our checks into four separate tabs. I ordered the shakshuka, and I kinda wish it was slightly more soupy? The dish itself was also on the smaller side than what I'm used to this dish being. I also felt the tomato base was a little dry but the avocados that came atop the dish were plenty and fresh. The pita on the side was also pretty good. read more

This place was amazing. Probably some of the best pancakes I've had. The eggs and potatoes were also amazing and I loved the homemade ketchup. The drinks and that dry banana bread were the only things that were a miss; but the service was great and it's a cute place for a brunch date. I definitely recommend checking them out. read more

Great place for a group brunch!! Service was great as well as the drinks. I loved the short rib bun, the green sauce for the yuca fries is SO YUMMY! I got the tapioca bites out of curiosity but wouldn't recommend, they were kind of bland. They also make their own cold-pressed juices and have a ton of food and beverage options. Everyone really enjoyed their meals, will definitely be coming back. read more

Good and bad food and drinks, depending on what you get. The pink latte was delicious (and beautiful) but the chai latte tasted like slightly flavored milk. The Patagonia Bowl was alright, the dressing was really foamy and watery, and wasn't super cohesive with the rest of the ingredients. We were sat upstairs, which was ridiculously stuffy and had no AC or fans. We were all dripping by the end of our meal. We were also kind of forgotten by the waiters upstairs. read more

It was my first time being there, and I was impressed. Elvin was our server. He was pleasant and was very accommodating to our specific needs. There was an excellent selection of food choices, and delivery was well within a reasonable timeframe . The cozy chicken wrap exceeded my expectations and was delicious. The ambience was definitely cozy, clean and comfortable.. I would highly recommend. read more

The food here is great- I'm not sure why they have less than 4 stars. These are some of the absolute best buttermilk pancakes in New York and the rest of the menu is very good, as well. There is something for everyone here and the pastries are delicious, too. One complaint is the food took very long time to come out despite there being not that many people in the restaurant. read more

We tried this place on a whim and it was a good experience. We walked in and there were a few tables available. Our order was taken in a timely manner and the staff was kind and welcoming. The food took a while to arrive, but it was delicious and plated beautifully. The eggs were fluffy and I recommend having some. My partner ordered the "Champ Pancakes" but was disappointed that the plate served contained a singular pancake. I would recommend updating the menu if this is the norm to avoid false advertising. He liked the food still and enjoyed his specialty drink. The ambiance was nice and there is a bathroom for customers. The decor was beautiful and there were nice murals of lemon trees that went well with the interior. read more

The dishes we had at Ol 'Days were excellent! Presentation and taste were on point! Service was wonderful and the ambiance is simple, elegant and welcoming without being stuffy and pretentious. They have a few locations and exploring the menu differences would be fun! It was my first time at Ol'days and I will definitely be back. I wanted a quick but healthy brunch to start my day and Ol'days delivered everything I wanted. A comfortable and casual, but slightly elevated look and feel, delicious food (I recommend the steak sandwich), and my waiter Elvin was attentive, helpful, and friendly every step of the way. Can't wait to return for more mimosas too. read more

We stopped in here for a quick brunch. The cappuccino was on point. The mimosas were ok. The avocado toast was a tasty treat. The super greens salad is a must. The cinnamon roll was good but needed a little heat. The service was not great. For awhile we were the only ones in the restaurant and still had a long wait to get served. Came here for brunch on a Saturday afternoon, the place was fully booked and people were waiting in line inside to be seated, would definitely recommend making a reservation if you're looking to come here on the weekend. The decor and interior gives off a cozy home-y vibe, definitely feels like a classic brunch specialist cafe. I'll say the food was good all around, the pita and hummus was solid, not watery at all and not drenched in oil. The sunrise platter was packed with fresh fruits and delicious toast and cheese. The ginger tea with honey was perfect for the cold winter weather. Will definitely return here in the future. read more

Waited for over 45 minutes to get our food. When it arrived, the eggs ricotta tasted bad and overcooked. The icing on the cake - the restaurant smelled like a port-a-potty. Additional star because the falafel was pretty good. read more

Good food terrible service, it was me and my girlfriend first time here so it could've been a off day but we were seated down and we went close to 20 minutes without anyone checking in on us or bringing us water and we only got service when I had to go up and ask to order, other tables got water before us when we finally got water there was a lipstick stain on my glass. Again could've been a off day but terrible time there read more

Solid choice for brunch. We had the Patagonia salad, Ham & Gruyère sandwich on a croissant and a Ham & Gruyère sandwich on brioche with a side of fried eggs and country potatoes - all good. The food here is very good and the menu is quite large. There are a number of vegetarian/vegan options as well. You won't be disappointed with any dish you choose. They also have a variety of drinks - coffee drinks, NA drinks and alcoholic drinks too. I have to deduct two stars because the service here is always terrible. Even if the restaurant is nearly empty, service is inattentive. There are many staff members just idly standing around sometimes while you are waiting 15 minutes for your order to be taken. The last time I came here, I had to ask the server twice for water, as it was never brought to us when we sat down. The food can sometimes take a while too, so manage your expectations. Overall, I think this place has great potential and a great menu, but the staff needs to improve greatly. read more

Make reservations to avoid waiting because this place is popular and for good reason. My friends and i throughly enjoyed our brunch. The atmosphere is very chill. All the food was good and fresh. I love this place. The food is amazing and the monito tastes like it was made by someone's grandmother. Gastón is probably the most welcoming face in NYC. He makes every visit feel special and he tis so welcoming with every guest. He is a tremendous ambassador for this neighborhood gem. read more

I made a reservation for breakfast here for two reasons 1) it was in Tribeca, where I needed to be for something else and 2) it was the only place online that offered outside seating in that area (labeled "Patio" on Resy as opposed to the inside dining option). I show up there today, tell the waiter I have a reservation for the patio, and he says I can have any table I want (pointing at indoor tables). I tell him that I made a reservation for outside, and he tells me--in an unpleasant tone--something like: "you can see that we don't have any tables outside." Actually, no, I can't "see" that because I don't know if their patio is a front or back patio, and that's a rude comment either way! I explain to him that I came here specifically because Resy let me choose outside and that this is something they need to fix in the system. At one point he tells me I must have reserved for their other location. I pull up my phone and show him it was very much the Tribeca location, and the reservation is labeled "Patio." He says his manager does this stuff, and I tell him he needs to have his manager fix this in the system or they will have other upset customers. Not once--and I said this to him at the end after giving him other opportunities before that--did the waiter as much as apologize for the mishap. Even if it wasn't his fault (and I said at one point it wasn't my fault and it wasn't his fault), he is the front facing person of this establishment. I wasted my time researching the place and coming here and I'm not even asking for anything monetary but rather to be treated with basic respect. Apparently, at Ol' Days that's a bridge too far. read more

Eliana was very attentive and our breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend Ol' Days!!

I come here about once a week to enjoy the smooth coconut latte and a light meal In a bright, cheerful setting. If you go, don't miss the smoked salmon toast and the waffles with fresh fruit. In addition to the delicious food, the service is the best. The courtesy and friendliness of the staff exceeds expectations, with a special thank you to Simon and Gaston. They are the best. read more

I found this place from an artist I found on instagram and decided to try this place after admiring at his delicious art. We came in specifically for the waffles and they didn't disappoint.
